Others were somewhat warm cloyingly sweet as to be unpleasant. Overall, though both of us are fans of boba tea- we would suggest a different vendor or more training for the staff preparing the samples. Roughly half of the flavors were not good at all. Additionally, they listed "boozy" flavors on the menu but never said anything about how to get those or whether they were included. Second problem- we preordered dumplings as did apparently a LOT of people. There were no dumplings on the train, only rice bowls. Furthermore- the waitress didn't know what we were talking about when we mentioned having preordered food. At least half of the tables in our car had preordered dumplings and were very disappointed. There was no information on how to obtain a refund if we didn't want the substitute of a rice bowl. About halfway through our trip, the train lost power which included lights, air conditioning, and the ability to flush toilets. Power stayed off with no explanation for more than 15 minutes, causing the car to become very warm and stuffy. Overall, this excursion suffered from lack of communication, lack of staff training, lack of preparation on the part of the organizers. Given the cost, I would not recommend this.

We entered from the Oak Station, which is along an extension track of the first railroad track in the West. Jim was very knowledgeable in sharing facts and keeping everyone engaged. Volunteers also operate the smaller train which is donation based so be sure to donate and thank them! There were lots of different props around the area and it was super nice viewing the props and exploring the backlands of Berkeley! The line moves fast too and the park is very cute otherwise. Afterward, it's about a 10-15minute drive back to Berkeley's campus so it's pretty close by to lots of other attractions! Definitely check it out if you're in the area! Bring your kiddos too!

Nope you basically follow the El Dorado Trail and see people's backyard with the Gran Finale being the Walmart auto service center. Doesn't sound like much, I know. But believe me when I say its quite the memorable ride! Plus the smile on your kid as he waves at the people walking along side the trail makes it worth a thousandfold its price. The trains are loud, old, original, and bumpy! This is what we paid for! A chance to relive the good ole days when our ancestors had it worse than us and had to endure long rides on a bumpy cold train. It sure made me appreciate my heated seats! The staff consists of passionate volunteers who dedicate their entire Sunday morning (perhaps even more,) to keep the train rides running safe and efficient. You're greeted with nothing but smiles and approachable folks eager to share their knowledge of the El Dorado Western Railroad! Ps. This was their first time re-opening after Covid-19. From what I heard they're trying to work their way up to travel further and fuller! Stay-tuned!

I can't remember honestly. My patience for yelp page set up and edits is thin. It doesn't like me. Knows I'm a troll probably. Anyway. This is the end destination for the Township 9 Green line (Westbound). I used to call it a terminus but walking dead changed that for me. From 6 am to 8 pm you can take this line from 13th street Downtown to Township 9 at Richards and Bannon in the River District. There are six Green Line stops: 13th street (downtown), Archives Plaza (which I tried to make a Yelp page for earlier tonight), 8th & O, 7th & Capitol, 7th & I/County Center (Jail), and Township 9. Archives is usually where I connect to/from the Blue or Yellow lines. It runs every half hour. It does not run on weekends according to the schedule I just looked up. You're welcome. I don't like that. Maybe as they continue to build up the River District it'll improve? This station is okay (as far as safety is concerned) during commute hours, but at night you're going to be bothered by random dudes. It's an eventuality. There's some nice apartments nearby but not a lot of businesses open after 5 around here. The two ticket booper machines are in an inconvenient spot for what is usually just a two car train since so few people ride it. Even during commute hours. There's not a lot of places to stand out of the rain if it's raining. The train will come into the station, drop folks off, then turn around and come to the other side of the street to let everyone on going back downtown. Remember it's usually two cars only so don't be on the wrong end of the platform or you'll have to move quickly. Do as the Romans do. This is my new stop if I want to ride green to my new office building or back. It works out decently unless the trains or bus is late and I miss a connection. Less of an issue coming from my midtown place but if I'm at my boo's place in land park that's a longer transit trip. Don't forget to boop your connect card at the blue machine before getting in or you could get a ticket. Which is real stupid but it's happened to me before. I did show up to court and get it dismissed since the cop didn't show and duh I have a monthly pass. Yay transit! Parking: not that I can tell. It is unclear who is allowed to use the gravel lot. I think it's for sacrt employees? There is some street parking if you get here early enough. Don't try to park in the CHP lot. The MLSOC state office building across the street has a parking garage further down Bannon street (behind the office building) but it's $8 daily.

The train ride is slow but comfortable…read more If you're trying to catch the first ferry into the city for the morning commute be warned. There are two trains that funnel into the 6:30am ferry. One arrives at 5:58 the other at 6:21. Be warned the ferry is FAR from the train depot. I am a very fast walker and have come within seconds of missing the ferry almost every time. The ferry does not board at 6:30, it LEAVES at 6:30. There is allegedly a shuttle to connect the train to the ferry but it's nowhere to be found at this hour. I'm not sure who designed this terrible layover time but be warned if you are even the slightest bit slow you will miss the ferry.

For starter, very kind and respectful, to working within a good budget that pretty decent with these gas prices. I had to make a few changes last minute and it was handled and stress free. Very clean and accommodating. The party bus had A/C, provided with the price; sodas and water, and bluetooth connection to get the party started. The driver was very kind and easy going for our crew. Especially with alcohol involved, the 8 hour day was stress free and so much fun because of the driver. After drop off, we made sure to do our part and clean up after ourselves. A time was had, and even after the travel, the owner reached out making sure it was a great experience. Definitely book for a day of fun and not having to worry about DDs, enjoy your family for any celebration, game drop off, graduation, prom or whatever you think you need a ride to have a party on the road.
