I have never seen any little shop like this before with truly curated gift items that are so unique. You won't find these items anywhere I can say with confidence. The outside is very inviting and back into you in. The shopkeeper had a big smile on her face and offered me wonderful Homemade Cookies. The fragrance of Christmas was in the air. The showcase is an entry way closet that now works triple time as a kitchen pantry, coat closet, and utility closet. She helped me coordinate everything with The Container Store and was available and responsive to trouble shoot a minor issue that came up during installation. I'll add more pictures. Truly, I'm so happy with the end result. It took 4 days of construction and one day for delivery of items. They did forget to order the shelves for the Elfa portion of our order so that is why the garage is not done yet. I also ordered and paid for jewelry storage that came in the wrong size so that is something that was delayed. We original had some work for our laundry room but they would have had to move our washer and dryer and that would have been too troublesome. Overall, I liked the result. I love all the organization especially to my main closet.

I called yesterday to see if they had a particular mirror in stock, Tula said they had a floor…read moresample. I asked if I liked it would I be able to purchase that one, she said no but she was able to find it at the warehouse in Tracy. They normally don't allow customers to pick up the items from the warehouse, Tula went out of her way to email them and set it up before I even got to the store. A couple hours later I arrived at the store and asked for Tula, she was so nice, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She was able to show me the mirror, I wanted to see the different colors (they had wood and metal ones) we couldn't find the exact colors but I decided to purchase the black metal ones. Oh and the best part it was only $319 instead of $399 what a deal. Tula processed my transaction and gave me my receipt and address to the warehouse. I went this morning to pick it up and it was so easy to arrive there and pick it up. If I could give Tula ten stars I would, she is all about customer service

This is an update to my original five star rating from almost 20 years ago. The Shop was a…read morewonderful local gem back then, but now, not so much. In the past year - since the new manager took over - The Shop has totally changed. Prices have gone way up, and the new manager is touting stuff like a whole "St. John's Knits" section which I really don't care about. I also notice that if I come in wearing my sweats & no makeup the manager doesn't say boo to me, but if I come in dressed to the nines then the manager is is super friendly, which I find shallow. She also has a weird policy on "Sales"; in the past, annual end-of-season sales were always promoted ahead of time. But the new manager insists on "flash sales" that aren't advertised, so you just have to stumble upon them by chance. All of this adds up to a poor shopping experience, so I rarely shop there now and I never donate anymore. Bring back the old manager, Robbie; she was wonderful, as are the employees who work there. In fact, the employees (outside of the current mgr) are the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1.

The downtown area is filled with home decor and furniture stores, but Home stands out in that interior design is their specialty, and they offer complementary in-home interior design consultations on appointment. We walked in to make an inquiry about a reupholstery project, and although this particular job is outside of the scope of their specialty, I enjoyed browsing the well appointed interiors of the store and chatting with a friendly employee there. At the Home store, they sell custom furniture and work with you for fabrics selection and other particulars for your specifications. Apparently the MDG comes from Park City, Utah, where the Greatest Snow on Earth is! This fact maybe entirely unrelated to your home design needs, but knowing that Morgan Design Group has started back in 1993 there may provide for some reassurances that they are experienced in what they are doing. They provide design and space planning for new construction or remodeling projects, interior design services including furniture, accessories, art, and window treatments. They can make selections for tile, cabinetry, flooring, moldings, and things like that, via working with your contractor, architect, or landscape designer.

Robin is amazing and you can't go wrong working with her- she's brilliant and really good at communicating through the whole process!

I've never heard of this brand but was attracted by a sign outside the store: 'Buy one get one free' ( sale items). So I went in and was going to give this brand a try. I was told that items with a yellow plastic ring around the hanger neck were a part of the BOGO deal. I tried on items in the dressing room which was busy. I chose a few items. Was surprised since I'm a petite size. When I get to the register I find out that many of the items were not on sale though marked as such. I found it very confusing. But I liked the items I chose ; eliminated two items reluctantly due to the no sale status of those items. But I also still kept a silk blouse for full price ( reluctantly) Later while at home I go online to view the online store. (Especially since I didn't know of this brand before) Turns out that several of the items I purchased for full price were on sale online. Confusing. The clothing is beautiful and sustainable and made in SF! Those two things are worth paying more for . However shopping at Amour Vert is confusing and felt unpredictable. I wonder how they can make the process more customer friendly ?

Eye rolls and deep sighs are given out for any request. When you are paying $50 for a t-shirt and $200 for a pair of jeans, you expect the shopping experience to match. Not only are the sales associates' attitudes poor, they have made mistakes every time I have visited. Once they even rang me up for an item and overcharged me by $10 - no apology whatsoever. I have called customer service to voice my concerns, but looking at these other reviews - I'm not sure they are doing anything to change the situation. I don't think this store is going to survive long - given the collective 1 star reviews. I strongly recommend you take your hard earned money elsewhere. There are other stores that offer sustainable clothing in the same shopping mall.
