Last night at 11:30 pm as I couldn't sleep because of the giant knot that was taking over my neck, I looked for deep tissue massage for this morning, and was so glad I found Dusit Thai. Tai was my therapist and is the owner and she basically saved my life. She did a combination of deep tissue Swedish (I think) massage and had great strong pressure and clearly a lot of knowledge and understanding about anatomy as she worked on both my neck things that weren't my neck but made my neck feel much better. At the end she said, "This might feel a little weird but if you're willing to sit on the floor rug and lean against the table, I can use my knees to get even deeper." I put my clothes on and sat on the floor and I couldn't see what she was doing but somehow she put all her weight in her knee and the knee on my shoulder and it was the best thing that's ever happened to my muscle knots. They have Thai, Swedish, and deep tissue massage and also reflexology. They can do a combination of things like they did for me. I will DEFINITELY be back and I recommend you all check it out!

The other night I was getting ready for a red eye back home to Boston, and a friend suggested a massage to help me sleep through the flight. So, based on a great recommendation, I called Amy. The massage was awesome! She did the typical check-in to see where I thought I needed some extra attention. The thing w/me is that I rarely get massages (why I deny myself this pleasure, I don't know); so my response to her question was vague and that I really didn't know. But I told her what exercises I did regularly, and that helped her focus on the important areas. She knows her stuff because she found all the right spots and then some! The one downside: the hour flew by far too quickly. As for achieving my goal of sleeping through the flight, this seriously did the trick. I woke up to hear the captain say that we just coming in over Boston and would land in ten minutes. And the other unintended bonus: she massaged me perfectly so I didn't feel stiff after sleeping in an odd position on a plane for 5 hours. Here it is two days after and my body still feels great!
