This is a long overdue review! Getting old and fragile i needed to take care of my body. I have moved from other side of town (Webster st) over to Park st side. I was curious of this clinic so I gave it a shot booking online. My first experience was back in January and I was assigned with Oscar as my therapist, although i preferred a female therapist but online booking didn't gave the option to select until I learned from Baby, the owner that I would have needed to specify via email or so. Noted, i didn't minded too much and Oscar was did a great job and was very professional. I got to my appt early and while waiting I couldn't help but notice how professional and sweet Baby sounded! If white glove service had a tone, Baby was it! I had actually booked again in February and wanted my experience from the heart and soul of the clinic, Baby! Baby gave a remarkable and relaxing massage! Definitely looking to book again! Only thing i did not liked was lack of privacy as someone mentioned, it's spaces only divided by drape/curtain covers, if someone knocked anything down it can be heard and disruptive, other than that! I really wanted to like this place, the decor is beautiful, location is on point. The actual massage was good at first, but then when my body took some time to get used to a new therapist and an arm or leg wasn't doing what the Therapist wanted-she would say "drop it" or "go to sleep" treating my body like it was a dog that needed to be commanded. Not a pleasant experience. I go to massages to relax and feel cared for. It is clear that Baby is a talented therapist, though her inability to adjust her routine led to me experiencing her frustration. Then, when paying she told me "I had anxiety," perhaps in an attempt to sell me more massages? I reached out to Baby Lee to obtain her services what really attracted me to her business was the fact she advertised her business as women own. I have a chronic condition that creates trigger point pain and tension all over my body, I purchased a platinum package of 7 sessions hoping her technique as a massage therapist would help with my condition I honestly never expected a cure. After my third session my condition has gotten worse and the pain increased specially on my shoulders. The manipulation of my arms and shoulders was too stressful on my ligaments so I decided to call her and inform her I wasn't able to continue with the treatment. When I ask for a refund on the remaining sessions her demeanor changed and she opted to tell me she thought she wasn't able to do so because the money has gone to a Nonprofit organization (???) I was very confuse and not able to understand what my request for a refund on the remaining sessions had to do with a Nonprofit organization. She advice me she was going to see if anything can be done but she has never done this before. Under California law consumers have 30 days from the day of purchase to request a refund for services not provided or received. I did try to get her to tell me about her refund policy but she does not have one and there is no information anywhere on her website. So far she has not responded to my email to create a favorable solution for both of us,  I hope she will communicate with me. Side note: I wanted to combine 2 of my 7 sessions into a 100 minutes treatment and she flatly denied it so I end up paying an additional $120.00 extra There was never an explanation about this non written policy in fact there is no written policy displayed anywhere in her shop or on any of her fliers or the fancy looking menu she presents to you with her packages. If you run a business you are responsible for being upfront with your customers specially when the customer is seeking wellness and benefits from your service instead I have received more physical pain and mental anxiety because I feel I am being taken advantage of. read more
