I've been coming here awhile now and they always have friendly service and have always maintained fair prices! I always get a pedi with a foot massage . They always take their time and do a good job. I came in today for a pedicure, I am so picky about my feet -I was very hesitant to try a new spot. I cracked the screen on my cell phone and I was having it fixed next door to Amy nails. I decided to give Amy Nails a try, I am way over due for a pedicure. I have tried every nail place in Chino and Chino hills and it's very challenging to find a good place that does good work AND is clean and friendly. My feet were done by "Lina" ... she gave me the hot stone pedicure $35. $10 extra for my gel polish. let me tell you ... WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!! She was so thorough and sweet, definitely professional and knew what she was doing. She cleaned up my feet and gave me a nice massage. This is now my go-to nail salon. They use liners in the bowls, open a fresh pack of sterilized tools every time, and use a lemon to naturally disinfect your toes after trimming. I get the deluxe pedi for $32 which includes: - an extra 10 min massage (they even pull out a timer so you know you're not getting cheated) -hot stones -callus remover (they really get you extra soft here, no half a** effort) -pick from 8 scents a package that has crystals for the water, massage oil, salt scrub, and lotion. Jasmine is my favorite. On top of this, they also give you a free mini water bottle to keep you hydrated while you sit. All of the ladies are super sweet and do a good job. This time I got Julie and I liked her. I am particular with how they cut so I let her know and she was fine about it. Sometimes at other places they give you attitude. Anyways my sister got Amy and she did great as well. Their rockstar is winchell, you have to book her weeks in advance. Long story short, go here!!! You will be happy with the service. read more

The staff was very nice however, I felt like the manicure and the pedicure was rushed. My finger nails did not get buffed and had ridges. She missed doing the clay mask so did it after the lotion and hot stone then never re-moisturized my hands and arms. When it was all done my fingernails were bumpy looking. My manicurist did not even ask if I was happy with the results, she rushed off to the next customer. Side note, I brought my own nail polish which didn't make them happy because they wanted me to do a gel color. I told them when my nails grew out I would do the gel but for today let's use my nail polish. Again I wasn't happy with the manicure I think I could've done a better paint job myself at home. My pedicure was neater but the message wasn't a very good one. Cost, $38 plus yes I left them both a tip. Gotta find a better place. Please comment if you know one in the chino/chino hills area. you know, i hate to leave bad reviews for small businesses but this place needs serious work! I got a fill from here on friday dec 18. over the weekend 3 nails popped off. literally one of them i was just putting leggings on! they were like glue on. they looked bumpy and horrible some thick some thin and not all the same even cut. I went back on monday and they wanted to charge me to fix my nails! are u kidding me?! they gave me the same girl that messed them up the first time and now here i am 2 days later from that and my thumb nail just broke again and is lifting! Same crappy job she did the first time! the fact that they tried to charge me for this too?! NO THANK YOU. i was even going to be $100 gift cards for my mom and mother in law that day so they could get their nails done. their loss!!! I went here yesterday for a full set of acrylics and gel for my toes. I called about 15 minutes before arriving and they were able to accommodate my friend and I right away. Our temperatures were taken and we were asked to sanitize our hands. The salon looked very clean! Very satisfied with home my nails turned out - I showed Christine a picture of what spring-themed I wanted and she did a nice job remaking it. My pedicure was also very good, the gel was applied cleanly and evenly. read more

This was my first time here. I got a gel manicure. I feel like she did a good job, the massage could've been better. She only put the lotion on my hands, but that's okay. I was very pleased with the manicure itself. Overall the place was super clean and it smelled nice. Everyone was friendly. The $15 manicure was great. Hand soak, cuticle care, massage, all great. The execution of my nail polish is sub par. I opted for the classic nail polish as I don't plan on keeping the color long. I just needed a fill and wanted white gel with little diamond gems on each finger.. Well upon entry I was greeted and quickly seated. This place offers decent customer service, and that is a plus in the nail shop industry. I explained what I wanted, and even provided a picture. The lady who did my fill asked if I wanted a cut down..my nails weren't long but I thought, why not. This woman failed to mention they charged for doing cut downs until I had to pay (nor was it written on their board). The "technician" cut me a couple times and burned me with the file by filling too close. As if that wasn't enough she put the white gel on and pretended not to notice you could still see my actual nail underneath and when I told her she said it was because of my pink powder underneath . Uh no.. I've gotten my nails done for over 15 years so I the difference lady, I know. She then went for a different gel brand and stated the one she used was new and she didn't know it would be so thin. Now it's time to dry my nails under the UV light..I took them out and, viola!! Melted mayhem!! They looked like a science project, she even tried putting more on and it just made it worse. She took the gel off and tried again..same results. The other tech took over because she actually gave up because I said I wanted white nails not dark red or purple nails. She tried to convince me the white polish warps often and I needed a darker gel. Any ways the next lady figured it out 2 hours later that the UV light was too hot..the SAME thing I told the lady 3xs!!! My nails still look like something I could have done myself and I actually paid for it. I just learned to never go to Amy's Nails. Waste of money and time. read more

Came in for a Gel Pedi, Yes!! it's my 1st time getting gel on my toes :D. It turned out to be a very pleasant and wonderful experience I had at the salon. When I came in, the shop was busy, but they still made an effort to comfort me not to leave by offering magazines and water. I was very grateful for little gestures like that and did not mind the wait at all. The workers took turn to check on me and I was touched. After 1 hour and 30 minutes wait, I was seen by the most sweetest and nicest lady there. It doesn't matter which salons you go to, there would be a wait anyways, so 1 hr and 30 mins was actually not bad. My service was very smooth and my gel pedi was perfect. **So giving them a low rating of less stars will be unfair because they fix their errors and still giving the best customer service I've ever received. I have to give a 6 stars if I could on Yelp. They do a really great job managing the workers to be so courteous and polite to customers. Of course minor mistakes will happen, but they FIX it for me with a big and warm SMILE at NO charge. I'm glad to find this HIDDEN GEM of Chino city :) read more

The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away. My nail technician paid close attention to detail and really took their time to make sure everything looked perfect. My nails came out even better than I expected--smooth, neat, and exactly the style I asked for. They also had a great selection of colors to choose from. I love Amy's nails! I come here once a month with my mom for a mother-daughter bonding time and we love it here. The moment you walk in, you are greeted and asked what you are there for! Once you answer, they give you an estimate of how long the wait is. During the waiting period, you are able to pick out colors from a wide-variety of nail polishes. Sometimes the wait may be long but it is worth the wait! From the moment you sit down, you are given a small water bottle just in case you are parched. The workers are nice and take the initiative to make conversation with us every time we are there. This last visit, they went above and beyond with the design for my toes. I just recently moved to the area and am trying to find a good nail salon. I have come in here twice. I decided to give them a second chance because I believe everyone has a bad day. While they tried to be nice, I guess.....they were very rude speaking to each other in another language then the workers would all look my way. One can only assume they are talking about me. I get gel nails and they filed my actual bed so much this last visit that my nails are destroyed. They are flimsy and I have broke three in just a few days as well as have nails now peeling. Lesson learned, my parents have always told me you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a few dollars more for quality work and people who aren't talking about me. I stopped going here for a while I don't know why I decided to go back‍ these are my original nails I went in with light pink gel they thought it was powder dip I told them it was just gel. They right away started sanding my nails down with the nail drill. I told her to stop because it'll thin out my nail and to use acetone or something else. She used acetone didn't let it sit for more than a minute and started filing it down. Then I told her I wanted French tip and to go as far up my nail where the top started to grow. She did it right under with cricket lines. She thinned out my nails so much they all started bending. Two of them cracked the next day after getting them done. I enjoyed how my nails looked but I was not happy with my manicurist. I think her name was Joel, when my friend and I went, it was not at all busy and in fact we were the only two in the salon. So I'm not sure why she was rushing to get the job done. She wasn't very friendly and the service was not worth what I had paid for. On top of that she knicked my cuticle and I was bleeding. I don't make a fuss over things so I still went about paying and went on with my day. But now that I think about it, the service was poor. The owner is very nice and most of the staff is hospitable, however my manicurist simply put lotion on my arms and rubbed it in maybe twice. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE I was horrified at a recent visit to see roaches. Not water bugs but roaches. I'm sorry but I can not believe that if you have roaches coming out during the day that your cleaning habits can be very desirable. I will not return. I would like to respond to your response. I am offended that you are calling me a liar. Any company that has weekly extermination services must have an infestation problem. There were many customers but Amy's husband did a great job in making sure we were all taken care of in an appropriate amount of time.
