They are under new ownership and I have seen a few apprehensive customers. It's not easy to entrust a new place, trust me I know! My advice is... give them a try! Five months ago this place came under new ownership. It is clean, all the chairs and stations are new. I've been back three times. My husband has even come with me. The basic pedicure includes a scrub, which is amazing. I've had both Lee and Lisa and would highly recommend either of them. If you were disappointed under the old ownership, you need to come back and try this again. read more

This is my favorite place by home to get a pedicure! Not a fancy place, no up selling, no OPI nail polishes (only cheap stuff) but they do the BEST job!!! I don't care about all the other stuff , only that my pedi lasts @ least 3-4weeks here and looks great (perfect actually). I usually bring my own Chanel nail polish and use their Orly top coat. Even if you use their nail polish the pedicure will last! I get compliments on my toes all the time since I don't always wear my shoes when working. So very disappointing. I was coming to Nail Tek years ago and stopped because it's not very clean. I decided to give them another try. It's still not very clean, they don't use liners in the tubs and as the other reviewer said, Kimmie had a lot of black gunky stuff under her fingernails as she worked on me. I tried to look past that because they do a pretty good job. I called Kimmie in advance and told her I needed a fill & pedicure. She told me to come in 20 minutes. I got there in 20, waited 15 minutes and she rushed through a fill then moved on to my pedicure. 5 minutes into the pedicure someone walked in and asked for a new set and pedicure. Kimmie asked her to wait. The customer said she would like Kimmie to do it. Kimmie started coughing and told me she was allergic to acetone and someone else would finish my pedicure. She went right over and started on the customer's new set..... Beginning with taking off her nail polish with ACETONE!!! I sat there with my feet in cold water for 45 minutes, totally ignored and watched them take another new customer for a pedicure before someone finally got to me. I get that they run a business and want to make money, but come on.... What about customer service? Just because they had me locked in a chair (money in the bank) doesn't mean they should ignore me and take in more business. I won't be back!! I don't remember who did my nails but I got a gel mani / pedi and paid roughly around $50 - $55 (not including tip) which isn't bad in my opinion. So I came here today after many years. I was running out of time and needed to kill two birds with one stone. (Getting my car washed in the same lot). I didn't have an appointment so I didn't think it was going to be to fast. Got my my nails in quickly. Was waiting on the spa chair waiting for about 35 minutes people would come in and they got their toes and nails done before me. They got here after and left before. I think this was may be the second or third time I've come here and been unhappy. I guess I should have learned my lesson or should have spoken up about the things I didn't like. The last time I was here, I had such a bad experience and crappy job done on my nails that I removed my previously posted fairly positive review to put this up. I did walk in without an appointment and they took me pretty quickly surprisingly enough. A few other women walked in after I did and they had brought a full on jack in the box feast into the waiting area...maybe I'm just grouchy but that was pretty annoying. Listening to them chew and crumble papers while I was there trying to " treat myself" and be relaxed. No one thought to ask them to step out to finish their meal. Again, I come here to treat myself and somewhat relax, which brings me to my next point, soliciting. While we were all basically trapped there with wet nails, a man comes in and interrupted everyone to try and sell us some garbage and again, no one asked the solicitor to leave. I will let the pictures of my nails be the cherry on top of this crap Sunday, you can see for yourself what the quality of work you will get here for $60. She cut my cuticle area open with the dremil device, which bled and stung... and she proceeded to crappily place gel nail polish on top of that and cured it, which also stung. The polish she had placed on my toe nails chipped as soon as I got home. Not a happy camper, will continue to give my business to my other frequent salon instead of trying to stay closer to home. I remember coming here a couple of times 7 years ago for acrylic nails and had a good experience with the girls at the salon. After months upon months of traveling for work, I decided it was time to come home and pamper myself. ...AND Nail Tek did not disappoint! I saw familiar faces from back when i was in high school and the salon itself is just as clean and homey. I got french gel manicure and pedis this time. I am not sure where all the low reviews are coming from for this nail salon. I have been here a few times, always first thing in the morning, and have had a great experience. If you don't show up in the morning they will run behind and they are definitely not fast either. The past few times I was there they did a great job removing the calluses without charging anything additional. They are also good at the leg and foot massage which are the two key areas on how I gauge a nail salon. Of course, the gel colors were on point and I never have had a problem with them peeling or chipping. I will pay more attention next time to check the sanitary conditions as other posters have mentioned. read more

This place makes me ALWAYS waiting at least 45mins to 1hr even though i arrived there right on time. What's the point of appointment?!?! Every time They didn't even apologize or explain to me why i had to wait that long. The reasonable price doesn't even matter anymore. I would rather paying more than being wasted my time. Won't come back here again!!! Update: The lady who did my nails and toes apologized me today when i paid and said sorry..its a busy season now so hope you understand about waiting. I'm so sad this place didn't work out, I tried this place a few weeks back & they were awesome I came without an appointment and they fit me in. My nails looked super nice & the lady was so sweet. I came back a few more times & every time they were super friendly. I did notice however it was kind of dirty, they didn't seem to have any clean instruments. I still got my nails done hoping for the best....I was wrong. My acrylic nail fell off & when I looked at it, my nail had turned GREEN!! This has never happened before so I took all my nails off to check if they were all green. My doctor told me it was a bacterial infection from dirty instruments! I'm very disappointed that this happened && I wouldn't recommend this place at all The ladies are super nice, but that will not bring me back. read more
