The band should never have been taken off to put a battery in the watch as the battery is under the bezel . When I went back and spoke to a sales lady and showed her the watch that I could not wear she said the watch looked fine and that the man who put the battery in is a watch person. It would not clasp shut as the band was put back on in reverse. I went to a couple of other jewelry stores for help and the last jewelry store was Eiseman's who are so professional and caring and treated me like a client. The watch man there immediately fixed the band and also noticed that one of the gold screws was not put on tight enough. Parts are difficult to find for Ebel watches. Eiseman's did not charge me. Lesson learned. Go to a jewelry store who does or did sell Ebel.
