I'm not sure why the massage therapist had only one mode and the only mode was hard-core pressure, extreme movements, and inflicting pain. I was maybe overly optimistic that I could communicate what I wanted in the session and most of it went ignored. The first thing that happened was she dug into my temples so hard I thought to myself that it was a lethal amount of pressure and I'm not even exaggerating. Google it online about pressing into someone's temples. I was bruised for a few days after. Then, she stuck her fingers in my ears and pulled my head up toward the top of the table. In what world is that a therapeutic or comfortable sensation? It was borderline violating. The rest of the massage I was on guard trying to guide her to stay away from an injured part of my body and to manage the pressure so I could tolerate it. I honestly felt like I had to survive the session rather than focusing on enjoying it. I should've just ended it as soon as it started. I really hope the owners can understand that not everybody wants rolfing and there has to be different levels of massage intensity. Let's start with basic language- soft, medium, hard pressure. Moving forward I've decided that I'm only going to licensed sports massage professionals.

Thought I would, until that happened. I felt pressed and pressured... Stuck to my 20% tip. But short of grabbing my credit card out of her hand and walking out the door... I felt my karma would be better served if I paid the tip and never returned. Do not go to this place. They don't know how to do business, they don't appreciate appropriate gratuity And shame on them for having such a greedy attitude. This place legit should be shut down!! Amy is very cordial & friendly, she is not your typical Asian masseuse. She is professional and excellent at what she does. Her shop is a brand new shop, the rooms are large & very clean. I been coming to her for several years, wherever she has worked, I had follow her, even if it's a little far for me because her massages are worth it. Now that she has finally open her own shop, I will continue to support her busines. I highly reccomend her, you wont be disappointed. At one point, he literally had his elbow pressed into my back while texting on his phone. Let that sink in. I'm paying for a professional service, and he's on his phone mid-"massage"? That's beyond disrespectful. I came in trying to take care of my body before my birthday tomorrow, just wanting to feel relaxed for once--and instead I left irritated, uncomfortable, and honestly pissed off. Whatever management change happened here needs to be addressed immediately. The quality, professionalism, and care are gone. The people who originally made this place worth coming to need to come back, because this is a completely different and much worse experience. Walking out, the whole vibe felt off--like nobody actually cares about the service anymore. I won't be back unless something drastically changes.
