Unfortunately, both my husband and I had the same experience after our massages. Instead of feeling relaxed and refreshed, we actually felt more achy afterward. After our second visit, the soreness was significant enough that we both took Tylenol for two days, and our bodies were still aching several days later. We understand that some soreness can happen after certain types of massages, but this felt excessive for us and wasn't the result we were hoping for. Everyone's experience may be different, and this is simply our honest experience after giving the spa two separate chances. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that while working on my back, she tried to squeeze a small cyst I have. That was completely inappropriate and unexpected. I have never had a massage therapist touch or attempt to squeeze a cyst before, and it made me very uncomfortable. I went in hoping to relax and relieve tension, but I left feeling frustrated and uneasy instead. I've had many massages before, and this was by far one of the worst experiences. Even when I was trying to act/show her what kind of massage I wanted which she still didn't understand :( The worst of it all is their VERY AGGRESSIVE tip chart. For a $60 one hour massage they are asking for at MINIMUM 40% tip which equates to $25 - like WOW. The reason why I stopped coming here was more about how some of the therapists (not Lynn) would verbally harass you if you give them less than 40% tip - I usually tip $15 - $20 depending on how good the massage was. They didn't have this tip chart posted before, but now it is posted in every room, the hallway, entrance to the massage area, and I believe also in the restroom. So with that in mind. Book with your own discretion and be prepared to have at least $25 in cash for tip.
