A good option for halal Thai food. The noodles, fried rice and curry dishes were pretty tasty. I recommend skipping the nyc style rice platters. The meat was not seasoned well and did not taste authentic at all. The atmosphere is casual and unassuming.

This is a really good spot for halal Thai food. The portions are huge for the price and everything tastes fresh. The pad that was really good, the medium spice is pretty spicy. The appetizer sampler was very good as well, especially the wings. Our server was quick and attentive, and there was plenty of seating inside. Would recommend this place if you're in the area.

First time trying out this place, definitely won't be our last.. Food is sooo good, uhh the wings were super flavorful and juicy !, Place is very clean, and the staff is very friendly ! Oh and The money bag appetizer is a must try, don't miss out on it!

Heard a lot about this place. My cousins and I stopped by and honestly was not impressed. The decor of the restaurant is nice and contemporary. We ordered pad thai, one of the curry dishes, fried rice, and thai wings. We also ordered the money bags and instead she brought out samosa cause they were out. Not sure how a samosa fits into Thai cuisine. Anyway she told us we wouldn't be charged for it, but ended up charging us for it anyway. The fried rice was really bad, no semblance of fried rice really. The pad thai was okay...

Definitely recommend trying the general tsos chicken. It is 10/10. If you've had halal Chinese form nyc and looking for that general tso taste. He's got it in this spot. This def hitDrunken Noodles the spot. I've tried the new my Thai special fried rice. Mixed with everything. It's very tasty. And you can never go wrong with drunken noodles and 10/10 New chef is def great!

Glaring at me when I even looking just patiently waiting for order, I believe this girl is unprofessional, unpleasant.

I don't even know where to start with how horrible this place actually is, but I will start by cleanse is being not a priority. Clearly, here on the cashier doesn't wash her hands after collecting cash, and preparing orders at the same time which is required. Also, I walked in here a good half a dozen times and there is always a different cook, which explains why the majority of the one star reviews state what they say. Be careful if you try to order your vegan meal here because apparently it doesn't really exist. This is supposed to be a Thai restaurant, but nobody here is from Thailand. Also, if you order for delivery here is, the store will purposely not put all your items and tried to blame it on the driver or make the drive or wait longer based on how they don't like the way they look. These people here clearly are racist and don't like the heavy population middle Eastern people but they choose to be in a city filled with them. There are way better options in the area for real authentic Thai food, such as Hug Ban Thai, my Thai halal, Thai kitchen.

Wow wow weeeewaaaa! Excellent food. I came here for the first time last week Saturday for dinner. I ordered drunken noodles, one with chicken and one with beef, also pad prick curry with chicken. All were excellent. The drunken noodles were well drenched in flavor and sauce, had a hint of bbq flavor that I've never experienced at any Thai restaurant. The pad prick curry was excellent, well balanced heat, flavor, coconut, milk, and spices. Well sautéed veggies and meat. Veggies still had a crunch and super well marinated with flavor from the sauce. Props to the chefs! I'm very picky with my meat, the chicken quality was 9/10, pretty fresh, flavored back and good texture. Waaaaay better quality chicken and beef relative to other Thai restaurants I visit often, ie Sudkothai and Bangkok Cuisine in Rochester Hills & Rochester. The chicken was not flat/crushed like in 90% of all other Thai Restaurants. The chicken here was more 3 dimensional and had been marinated by the 3 dimensional flavor, if you pick up what I'm laying down lol. I agree with the other reviewer about the water, we were given plastic disposable cups and a water pitcher, would be nice to have glass cups instead. I'm not going to give a lower rating for that, I don't identify as a Karen, allegedly lolol. The waiter and chefs were pretty kool and friendly, were passionate about their restaurant. I definitely recommend this place.

I really enjoyed the food and the service here! One of the best drunken noodles and chicken fried rice I have ever had!

    Beel K.

It was our first time here and was not disappointed. Apparently, there's new management so there's a bit of change going on, which is understandable. The food was tasty and the server (he was the only one) was good. Suggestions would be a glass carafe for water and actual glasses v plastic cups. Little upgrades can change the dining experience from a coney island feel (which is meh) to an upgraded dinner.

The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Both entrees came with rice, which had above average flavor and texture. The katsu was delicious, and is hands down the best dish I've had here. The dunkers were pretty sizable compared to other restaurants' ABC, but the gravy it came with had an unpleasant, metallic taste. Overall, New Age Noodles is a good restaurant. Total plot twist. The place was pretty quiet with only a few diners, so service was steady, though a little slow at times. We ordered the veggie noodles, cucumber salad, lamb skewers, xianbing pancake, and juicy pork dumplings. Overall, the food was decent and comfortably average, but honestly, we were just excited to finally find a Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant nearby. The veggie noodles were the clear winner of the night: chewy, flavorful, and coated in a sauce that had us going back for bite after bite. I could've done without the bok choy, though, and I wish the noodles had been a little less oily. The cucumber salad leaned much sweeter than we expected and was swimming in a bit too much soy sauce for our taste. The pork dumplings were nice and juicy inside, but the wrappers were slightly too doughy. Now the lamb skewers? Absolutely delicious. Great flavor, good portion size, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest disappointment, unfortunately, was the xianbing pancake. It didn't feel authentic at all. The crepe was way too thick, and the crispy crackers inside had lost all crunch and turned soggy instead. Still, the cozy vibe, solid noodles, and tasty skewers made it a worthwhile visit, especially if you're craving Szechuan flavors around Madison Heights.
