Unique booth. All of the seating is interesting and looks comfortable.

It's a delightful and interesting concept. Food was incredible. We tried cappuccinos and pastries. It's cafeteria style. You order food first and pay for food and drinks together. I received and paid for something I didn't order and was given the correct order and refunded the difference with no questions asked. Bathrooms are all genders. The bldg itself is an old building with a brand new building built into it. Very impressive. We plan on going every visit to Montreal.

Went here for a quick bite for breakfast. The croissants are big and they have plenty of options. The chocolate croissant in the picture is filled with Nutella and the Pistachio croissant is filled with raspberry jelly. Had a cappuccinos, no sugar. FYI they only have whole milk. The service was quick the place was pretty empty. It is a very nice location for coffee and conversation even some nice pictures the cafe is beautiful.

I love beautiful cafés, so I had to check this new gorgeous spot in town. Améa Café is a Mediterranean inspired restaurant/café spot, it's located in the Maison Alcan building which is also home to the Gallea art gallery as well as the EA Games and Line Rouge offices. It's worth mentioning because you can definitely feel it from the vibe. I went there during my lunch break, while they were still in their soft opening phase, the service was quite quick. I wanted to try their tartare but they didn't have any. given that quantities were less than the usual. Therefore, I went for the gnocchis (it was delicious!), then I had to try some of their yummy pastries: I had two eclairs and both fillings were excellent. I'll be back!

Shared a pizza, avocado and tomato crostini and a round croissant, with a matcha latte.

I got the Shashoka and French toast and cinnamon roll croissant. Very good! Food came out quickly…read more It was very busy, but there was plenty of seating.

What a little oasis in the city, loved my experience here!…read more I stumbled across this cafe while visiting and I could tell it looked like a popular local spot. There was a small line but the wait was short. I ordered a cappuccino and a BLT bagel sandwich. Both were really great. The cappuccino was one of the best ones I've had on my trip. The beans they picked were good, and the milk was steamed perfectly. The BLT bagel sandwich really caught me by surprise. I honestly wasn't expecting too much. They did such a good job balancing all the flavors and it didn't feel like a heavy sandwich like some BLT sandwiches can be. The general feel of the cafe is very cozy and comfortable. The window in the front let in amazing light, making the cafe such an inspirational spot (would be amazing to spend a day in there working). There were also plants everywhere and the greenery is such a nice touch. They even had fresh flowers on every table (so rare to find these days). The staff were super friendly. You ordered at the counter, get your number for the table, and the staff members would bring you your food. I was there in the morning and everyone had a smile on their face. The space seemed to uplift everyone's mood in there. I had such a great first time impression of this place and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.
