They had moved me into my first place and did a great job the first time. I called them again this year, moving into a new home. This time, the move went well. They were efficient and pleasant to deal with. However... 1. The bedframe wasn't installed properly and damaged. -- They came by the next day to repair the bedframe. This frame is over $1000.00 and when I mentioned that it was expensive, the response was something like, "you don't replace it with something new..you repair it. What??? When you go to a store, and break something... you pay for it. You don't "offer to repair it". In any case, they are repairing it. The damage wasn't major, fortunately. 2. Also, when I first called, they quoted me an estimate of three guys and a truck. When they showed up they told me they had four guys and told me was going to be $165 an hour for three hours, plus $35 for gas (I moved 15 minutes away), plus $35 for shrink wrap and they estimated it would take four hours. Then, I was quoted a flat rate of $750.00. or I could choose to go with hourly. It works out to more like $214 an hour. They are estimating how long it will take to move. The flat rate would stay the same if it went over in time, but I knew it wouldn't be more than 4hrs at most. read more

We moved at the end of August, and Jimmy and Jonathan were great to work with. They helped us out after we had a terrible experience with another company that refused to move us on the scheduled day. An Easy Move arranged to move us the very next day, a Sunday. After a video walkthrough showing them what we had, Jimmy gave us a quote and a start time for the next morning. They arrived on time and jumped right to it. It was clear that Jimmy and Jonathan enjoy working together. I overheard them laughing and having fun conversations. Amazing movers! These 2 guys, the owners, showed up right on time as promised, and they were efficient, so careful with all of my items, and wrapped every piece in plastic to avoid damage. They were fast, no loitering at all, which is what you hope for when you're paying by the hour, but usually don't get. These guys were great. I will definitely use them again for any future moves, and have recommended them to others as well. The lady who mentioned something about stolen items...who wants someone's old used back brace? Seriously??? Don't think there is any truth to that at all; sounds like a scammer trying to get out of paying for service. Just sayin'! I offered these guys many nice items I just don't need anymore, as I was downsizing, such as perfectly good TV's, etc. They declined everything as they said they were offered items all the time, but don't need anything. I am an actual customer. An Easy Move saved my sanity and my house! We had just moved in, and the amount of work to unpack and put everything away was more that I could possibly do by myself. So I called An Easy Move and it was the best call I ever made. I'm being honest. They responded to my call right away, sent people who were trustworthy, intelligent and considerate. I had so many other people in my house at the time installing cable, air conditioning, etc that were keeping me tied up with their questions, and the people from An Easy Move anticipated everything they needed to do. By the time they left, so much of my house was put together I couldn't believe it. They also hauled away all of the boxing and packing materials. I had these guys come and move from PD to Rancho Mirage, a quick move. They do have a minimum charge (I think 3 or 4 hours), and I get that. My move took less than 3 hours. They arrived on time, quickly loaded my stuff, zipped on over to the new place, and carefully unloaded everything. And, you know what, they weren't complaining or doing the work grudgingly. I was looking for movers to help unload my truck after moving from Las Vegas to Palm Springs. These guys were the most responsive and willing to help. Their level of service and communication is impressive considering all the others in the area seemed to care less about making money. Needless to say I had them booked the day before and our truck didn't make it to Palm Springs for our appointment time. They were quick and reslonsive about switching the appointment to the following morning at 6am. Which was perfect. The next day the key to the lock on the truck was lost and we had to bolt cut which took an extra hour and their team only had from 6-9 before their next job, they were still so amazing and willing to assist with what they could to unload this 26 foot truck into our storage unit. When we arrived the team of three unloaded this truck within one hour to meet the time restraint. Their attitudes were engaged and positive, no complaints no nothing. I have to say fro someone who is hard to impress, they were impressive. 5 Stars all the way. I will be using them again when we have to load the truck to move to our new home we just bought. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS, Their name is "AN EASY MOVE"....It was anything but easy. My back is in pain as I spent all weekend moving myself after they were supposed to move me completely. I originally contacted 3 companies on yelp, but I chose them, because they gave me a fixed price of $950 and had lots of 5 star reviews. That was their price, not mine. All I cared about was being moved by a professional company and not having to do any labor. I was very clear that I did not want to do physical labor. They agreed to pack and move me completely. This was our phone and email correspondence several times. I told them I was looking for someone to pack and move my things for me. I work a lot and don't have the time nor physical strength to do it. I told them I lived on the second floor with a large outside stairs. We had several conversations on the phone. They were supposed to come look at my place to make sure their price was correct but they didn't. My regret is I didn't make them come and give me a written contract. I trusted the 5 star reviews on yelp. The 3 young men were not professional movers. They showed up not knowing what they were to do and without any supplies. I had to tell them they were to pack and move everything. They said they weren't told that! Seriously, An Easy Move sent people to my house who were not informed of what they were to do? After talking to the office, the owner apologized and made a bunch of excuses. He offered to give me $135 off! He then said if I was going to cause a problem they would just leave! Luckily, I did some packing. Originally I was supposed to move 30 miles away but ended up moving only 1 mile away. So not only did the movers not have to drive 30 miles, but about a third of the packing was already done. Still they weren't prepared for even that. The owner showed up and said I had much more stuff than I stated over the phone. That this move would normally cost a lot more. I reminded him he was supposed to come out and see all that needed to be moved but he never did. I also reminded him the $950 was his price, not mine. So I just shut up and started throwing things in boxes and garbage bags. The inexperienced young movers then continued to ask me every few minutes, "is this going?" "are you taking that?" I didn't want to have to supervise and organize my move. I was hoping the movers would just do it. So I told them to just move the living room and two bedrooms. That I would move the kitchen, two bathrooms and hall closet. At this point I was hoping to at least get the big heavy stuff moved. I have a commercial elliptical that a few years ago me and a friend carried up the stairs and the 3 boys could barely handle it. It was also very difficult for them to move a large living room cabinet. Everything they did seemed to require much effort and my input. It was exhausting and stressful. Do people who move out of their house only take some of their stuff? Is it really necessary to supervise and direct professional movers at every step. Of course I want everything moved (actually they were supposed to pack too, but didn't). I don't know where all the 5 star yelp reviews are coming from. I think I'm done trusting yelp reviews. There is one bad review and it seems we had similar experiences. About half way through the move one of the boys asked how I was paying. I said by check. He said cash only and that it doesn't include their tip! I just assumed they thought I was trying to get out of paying. Do people really pay cash to move? This whole situation was bizarre and absolutely unprofessional. I spent the next two days with a friend using his truck and my car moving. I took pics so I have proof. In the end, An Easy Move spent 4 hours exactly, (12:40 to 4:40 pm), moved my living room and two bedrooms only, were paid $1070, That is $950 plus $120 tip. I don't feel I overpaid, my problem is they didn't do what we had agreed on. Hell, I would have paid more money if they have handled everything as promised. What I wanted was professional movers to come and pack and move my things without me being involved. I now realize I should have insisted on them doing an actual in-person estimate and giving me a written contract. I spent the last few days with a sore back, taking muscle relaxers and pain medicine and had to call in sick for work 3 days. I'm not sure what my next step should be. Part of me wants to forget the whole thing but my sore back and missed work hours angers me. I really hate being scammed and even worse letting the scammer get away with it. I'm considering small claims court. My friend Brian was witness to the aftermath and I took pics, but I have nothing in writing only emails. In your case, I highly suggest you make someone come out and give you a written estimate but even that doesn't mean they won't find another way. Certainly don't trust yelp. I have friends who for years claimed those reviews were either false or paid for. read more

These guys bend over backwards to work around how complicated some escrows can run their course. Until now I had not worked with a mover that worked locally, but would move you to your final destination and unload, even up to over 1,000 miles! We moved from Palm Springs, to NE New Mexico, and everything arrived in one piece with minimal damage due to their excellent padding and packing standards, despite some really rough highways between here and there.
