For context, this was a 4-hour deep clean for my one bedroom apartment that included baseboards, organizing, and even laundry. I have a shihpoo who demands a lot of attention, so keeping up with deep cleaning can sometimes get away from me. When I say they saved my life, I'm not exaggerating. Kizzy and Alice absolutely delivered. They cleaned my apartment top to bottom. Baseboards, surfaces, floors, everything. They even did my laundry which was such a huge help. I stepped out to run errands while they worked and came back about four hours later to an apartment that felt completely reset. The space looked amazing and felt so much lighter. Beyond the quality of the cleaning, they were also just lovely people. Polite, helpful, respectful of my space, and they even gave my dog some love while they were here. As the owner of a property management company, I found this business practice extremely concerning and unprofessional. If the scope of work was underestimated, that should have been identified before the work began, not after the customer is already committed. What confused me even more was receiving a message at 5:42 PM asking me to call back to confirm my booking, when their listed office hours are 8-5. By then, no one was available to take my call or respond through Yelp because it was already past their office hours. Their AI chat is actually pretty cool and responsive, but unfortunately that was pretty much the only consistent communication I had with the company. For a house cleaning service where you're scheduling people to come into your home, I personally need clearer communication with an actual person, especially when the appointment date and time keep changing. Molly Maid of Long Beach seems to have plenty of good reviews, and I honestly would have loved to try their cleaning service.
