DO NOT HIRE for your cleaning services! The owner of this company overworks her girls & screams awful things to them. Blames them for her mistakes & will STEAL their tips. She changes staff VERY often as the girls are forced to quit due to mistreatment. Her equipment used can become unsanitary as she lacks to provide the proper cleaning process to them. I gave this service a try for a move-out cleaning after checking around for a good deal. I must say I was impressed with the crew provided & they worked diligently until the job was completed, for what I believe to be a reasonable price. They fit me in on a busy Friday; arrived pretty close to on-time and then cleaned windows, counter tops, floors, and bathrooms all to my satisfaction, so I would definitely recommend & use again if I was not moving out of the area. read more

I started using Emma's cleaning service after my mother recommended them. She was quite pleased with their work and as she was 80 when she got her first cleaning service, I thought that was high praise. they do a great job of cleaning everything, even windows without request. I am not sure about some of the bad reviews. I have never had a no show or any problem getting in contact with Emma. read more

They came to clean my home before. They did great job the house was very clean. The bad part was they knocked all of the censors off the windows therefore my alarm didn't work. I had to call the people for a service call to fix it and there was a $99 charge, not to mention we had to go a few days w/o the alarm. I told Emma she apologized. You would think she would offer a reimbursement. Just the other day my husband called them back out. I was done with them. Emma showed up she was very friendly but gave me a high estimate. I reminded her off the $99 I had to pay last time they came , still no offer of a discount. She simply said we wont do that again. She said they would be out the next day to clean. The next morning another lady called my husband and said the she and Emma were in business together and that Emma had stolen her job behind her back and that she would come out to give an estimate of how much it would cost to clean and that she would give a discount for all the trouble. However she would not be able to clean until Monday. I had things to do we were scheduled for Friday , Now I have to wait 3 more days because of a problem she and her business partner are having? So, I called Emma and asked her what was going on since she didn't show for the appt. She said her daughter called her and told her we cancelled. I told her no that's not what happened , I told her your daughter called and said you stole her job. Emma said she had no idea why her daughter would do such a thing. I told her she could still come out but my husband wanted to wait for the daughter since she offered a discount. Do you think Emma offered a discount? No , she did not. I have not heard from her or the daughter since. I even called her back and said she could come for her price just call my husband. She never called him. After all that I texted and left voicemails for her and the daughter. Haven't heard from either since. I was expecting company and they really left me hanging. I had to clean my own home myself today. 3100sq ft. Thanks a lot.. I would not recommend any business that would leave a customer like they did. read more

Once my construction crew leaves a jobsite..we leave a mess! That's no understatement. I called Emma out to a jobsite we had finished remodeling. Left the place spotless for $150 bucks. I cannot believe this, after using Emma's service quite a few times now and having no problems. I am sad, furious, and disappointed. I referred Emma's services to a friend, who unfortunately did not receive the same experience. Not only did they ruin antique shutters that are going to cost my friend a fortune but they also stole some items left behind that were NOT part of the deal. There was an agreement to take trash and a couch, which they left behind, and that is all. Now my friend will have to pay for their negligence and lack of professionalism. Funny thing is she spoke to the owners and the management company to put blame on the movers who had been there way before she was even contracted. I been using Emma's cleaning company for a few years now! Her and her crew are FANTASTIC and for a great $$$$!

I have used Emma's cleaning service several times and in the beginning they were good. However, after several visits they became less thorough and careless. Emma provides no supervision or protocol for her workers to follow. In fact, she has NEVER shown up while they are here! NEVER!! I understand accidents happen but when you break something I like to be told and not find out about it on my own. I gave her people three chances on three different occasions and that was two too many. On one visit they used a cleaning chemical on my carpeting and discolored it. They never said anything and I had to find out about it on my own. Nothing was ever done to repair it. On another visit they broke a valuable delicate glass candle holder while cleaning. This time I heard it break and when I came into the room she was picking up the pieces. The help said not to worry that she would replace it. Emma often sends different girls on each visit so I never saw this girl again. They are all undocumented illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America with little or no English so they'll break or steal things and you'll never see them again. They have no identification, name tags or any other means to identify them. Since I never knew her name I couldn't identify her and I assure you Emma will take no responsibility for her workers regardless of what she tells you. Needless to say the glass portion of the candle holder was never replaced. Then comes the double paned window behind plantation shutters in the master bedroom. I never open the shutters to expose the window so often times things will go unnoticed for a while. It just so happened a few days later I was on the outside washing the walkway down when I noticed the window was shattered and broken. Upon further examination it was discovered the window was broken from the inside as only the inside pane was shattered while the outside pane (double paned windows) was still intact. I am the only one on the inside that would go anywhere near that window and I never open the shutters to expose it so there is no question in my mind whatsoever who broke it. I requested that Emma come over so I could discuss this with her. After several days had gone by with no visit from Emma I called back. Again I was told she couldn't come by but was told by Emma herself she would send her daughter over. Once her daughter arrived I explained the situation about the broken window. She snapped a picture of the window with her smart phone and assured me Emma would follow up and take care of it. I never heard from Emma and the window issue went unresolved. I replaced the window myself at a cost of $155.00. Emma did not even have the courtesy to call and discuss this with me as her daughter assured me she would. After damaging three items (carpeting, candle holder and window) in my house and not reimbursing me for any of them I had had enough and never used her service again. Her people are careless and dishonest and Emma herself is irresponsible for not following up on these issues. Her prices may be reasonable but when you consider the damage her help had done it's no bargain at all. In addition, the cleaning is not all that good. Her people "surface" cleans rather than move things around and clean under and behind them properly. If you value your furnishing take heed in what I'm saying. Sooner or later your things will be broken or damaged and you will never know about them because they're certainly not going to tell you. You will have to discover it on your own and even then good luck trying to get it fixed or replaced by Emma. You won't even get a return phone call! It appears I am not alone on this either. Read other reviews and you will discover this is her M.O. You have been WARNED! USE EMMA'S CLEANING SERVICE AND YOU HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELF! read more

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE. This review is long overdue. Wouldn't your biggest fear be to have your housecleaner keep your house keys after repeatedly promising to return them??? Well, EMMA NEVER RETURNED MY KEYS after I repeatedly asked for them back. My neighbor and I both used Emma's girls for about one year and they were great at first and then got very sloppy, breaking things, not dusting all of the furniture, not rinsing cleanser from the kitchen sink, swirl marks on stainless steel appliances, floors not being cleaned, etc. I started declining Emma's requests for cleaning and I finally asked Emma for my keys back last year before Thanksgiving. For days she would promise to return them and then not show up. She would give me another day/time she would return them and again not show up. I told Emma I was going to call the police, she said the keys were under my doormat. I was shocked to find they were NOT under my mat and my repeated texts to Emma asking where she put my keys were ignored. I HAD TO CHANGE MY LOCKS. For those customers who are happy with Emma's now, just wait until you aren't and you try to cancel, I hope Emma returns your keys. read more

Come the week of our apointment, we were still in the midst of construction and our workers weren't done, so I had to cancel...as construction goes, I had to cancel 3 times. I felt bad, but i always gave her notice. The day of our final reschedule, despite having confirmed, she was a no show no call - straight to voicemail! I gave Emma's Professional a call with little notice, needed my home cleaned before the holidays. Emma's crew of 3 came over a few days after my call and did a super job! My oven was really in need of a good deep cleaning after cooking our Thanksgiving meal. Not only did they did a thorough job on the oven, but the entire house looked wonderful!
