Amazing find! So many Turkish goodies and one of the only spots in the US where I've found salep latte. The gentleman (I think the owner) at the counter was extremely helpful and kind. My main goal was coffee before the whale tours right across the street but looking forward to returning after to try delicious Turkish food. The food is amazing, house-made lentil soup is always hot, and sweet, perfectly made, and the Turkish delights are soft, and chewy. The service is top-tier. Leo is incredibly kind, along with all his staff! Always speaking kindly, and happy to keep small-talk. (If you tell him Avi sent you, I bet he'd be happy to give you a Turkish delight on the house ;) ). The ambiance is calm. A small café vibe. With small seats and tables. A very intimate vibe! So: a 10/10 café. I cannot recommend this place more. read more

Visited with my SIL who is from Azerbaijan, so she knows her tea and baklava. I was excited to try the turkish coffee because I'd never had it before. I was hoping it was going yto be made the traditional way with the pot being swirled in the hot sand, but they use a nespresso type machine. I didn't mind though because the owner was nice and I tried the coffee and discovered that it's an acquired taste and it isn't for me, but it was such a nice presentation. I tried the sausage breakfast toast, made with texas toast and sucuk beef sausage and cheese. I liked it. Although I didn't try the baklava and the turkish delight, they were beautiful to look at. I'm not sure if I should write a review for corner Café or Zaza? Since the top of the building says corner Café here we are. What a delightful surprise a Turkish Café with Turkish delights from baklava to coffee to teas and gifts. We were pleasantly surprised by our Turkish coffee, which had a strong, sweet delightful taste. My photos reflect the adorable ambience of the cafe. The owner was very friendly and talkative. He helped us understand what we were ordering offered to change it if we didn't like it tell us a little bit about the readings of the coffee grounds. I ordered the vegan dessert and we also had the baklava. Both of us were very happy with our desserts and coffee. We eventually bought some tease to go if you have a chance and are in the mood for some coffee I would highly recommend Zaza! read more

Tasty Cardamom Turkish latte just to give you the jolt of energy for the rest of your day. Even though it's attached to the grocery store, they have a variety of drinks and treats for anyone to enjoy. An outstanding restaurant in Anacortes, featuring some the best food in the area! Leo Zaza is an excellent restauranteur featuring delicious Turkish favorites which are all excellent! Try the Menaman for breakfast, you won't be sorry! The coffee selection is likewise excellent. So try something new, our town needs a business like this. The service at this cafe on a weekend morning was quick and the ambiance reminded me of my visit to Istanbul. Unfortunately it did not meet the bar for us when it came to the food and coffee. We got a Turkish pistachio latte but could not taste the pistachio at all. We also tried a date hazelnut sweet that was a little dry. read more

The tea is delicious (tried both a pot ofthe Turkish black and then an oatmilk chai). The owner is really sweet and understood I just needed an hour or so of WiFi and tea to meet a deadline. Stopped in tonight for dinner to go on commercial Ave. I could have ordered online and picked up but I wanted to go visit and see what it was all about. The folks are very friendly and kind. I tried a Turkish delight to go with my coffee and it was fantastic!! I haven't had either before so for a first time I was very impressed. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with meat and am so glad I did! The meat was spectacular tasting and so tender it melted in your mouth. The meat was great added to the salad. Best Mediterranean salad I've ever had! I was so hungry I dove right into the salad and forgot to take a picture...sorry. Trust me...looked and tasted great. I will be back to try some of their specialty items especially their baklava and Turkish delights. I recommend this food truck - stop by and have a chat! Grab a bite while your at it. I'd do some price comparison before buying anything else, because the merchandise was very expensive! $25 for Turkish delight? The same brand is available online for $7.99. I was a little confused about the stories about the merchandise being home made when the Zaza Turkish Coffee stickers were clearly covering another company's label. The tiny shop in a small pod of food carts is scarcely big enough for two people to turn around, but it is filled with products and flavors from another corner of the world. I've been searching for a place that serves the Turkish orchid flower drink called "salep" for YEARS and stumbled on ZaZa completely on accident today, only to find it on the menu! Anacortes, you have a real treasure here -- it's SO HARD to find salep in the States, and Leo will make it right before your eyes! (It's a milky winter drink served with a topping of cinnamon -- yum!). This little, super authentic Turkish coffee shop is worth going out of your way for. What a treat to find real Turkish coffee in Anacortes. The cardamom takes me back to Istanbul cafes ... last international travel before the pandemic. Local baked items are good but there you also get a Turkish delight with your coffee and can buy a box if you like. Owner is a super nice guy. I would give this place less stars if I could. Lets start off with we drove 30 minutes out of the way, SUPER excited to try this place out. I was under the impression that this was legitimate Turkish coffee, traditionally brewed, when we got inside the guy was nice but not very helpful. Then we proceeded to order and litterally everything was instant coffee. They used a Keurig type machine to pour the Turkish coffee. Very overpriced. I ordered the Cardamom iced coffee, it was litterally milk, with cardamom spice thrown in. No coffee. Tasted like milk and chunky spices floating at the top. When I asked the employee if there was actually any coffee in my drink after taking a taste, he said, yes, I sprinkled coffee grounds in there.... 16$ later with two small drinks (12 ounces) I would not recommend this place. read more

Leo, the owner, is super cool! The ambiance is cozy & cute! The place is small, but there's seating outside. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, so I got the Apple Turkish hot Tea. Very good! So good that I bought a tin to take home! He also serves food, and sells gift items etc. I bought a bottle of Saffron Oil. I had never heard of it before. I put in in my dishes for flavor and a beautiful color pop! Check this place out. read more

This place is legit. The Turkish coffee is amazing. It comes with a piece of Turkish delight. So good together!!! I also had the coffee cake - it's very moist, nutty and scrumptious. We came across it by accident. It's in an area with other trucks. Really fun and cute. read more

Both the Baklava and the Turkish delights are absolutely incredible, I tried the chocolate pistachio baklava and it was so flavorful and delicious. I had the most wonderful experience at this charming, family-owned Turkish cafe! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the owners, who were so friendly and genuinely helpful in explaining the menu. The food was absolutely incredible--every dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with such care. You could really taste the love and passion that goes into each meal.
