Barnes & Noble has become a sad shadow of its former self…read more This B&N in particular is poorly staffed and dirty. Awful Starbucks too, the few black coffees I've purchased are consistently burnt. It's pretty much impossible to find a staff member unless you're checking out, and often times there's long lines you have to wait though because there's one cashier behind the desk. There has been only one time I've seen an employee at the circulation desk. They didn't carry two out of the three books I asked about, and the one she told me was in stock was not on the shelves when I went to look. I approached her again (waiting through another long line of desperate book buyers) asking if she could direct me to the aisle the book I wanted was in, and she told me her system didn't have a book section listed. Can you imagine going to Publix, asking where the cereal is, and the cashier doesn't know? I remember when you shopped here and the employees not only knew where the book you wanted was, they could walk you right to where it was on the shelf and other sections where the author was listed. Also, why are there so many games and toys now? I must've seen five aisles of plastic light up toys and stuffed animals for kids, the cheap stuff you buy for your neighbor's cousin's birthday party. The kid's section was so sad to walk around. Poorly made picture books with AI-slop cartoons. Maybe a small handful of classics like Madeline and Brown Bear, Brown Bear. No chapter books as far as I could see. Instead of brightening our children's minds with imagination and literary challenges, they're dumbing them down with cheap content. I remember spending hours here with my Dad as a kid, paging through books while he sat with a coffee and magazine. I hope, so so much, that it can return to this.

The bookstore opened their first brick & mortar store on Fifth Avenue at 18th Street in New York City which is today the flagship store. Barnes & Noble grew worldwide with its variety of reading material which included general trade books, academic titles, textbooks, and medical books. As the world turns into the digital age, Barnes & Noble began to upgrade their stores with innovation, contemporary aesthetic with books at the center, grew their food and beverage offerings, and comfortable seating for a friendly customer experience. The Palm Beach Gardens location is large, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The book price values are reasonable, and the other amenities are enjoyable. I was referred to them by my best friend who used them for his wedding. Phil was extremely responsive to my phone calls and emails. He answered all of my questions and steered me in the best direction. We threw a "Great Gatsby"/Art Deco themed engagement party/surprise wedding and the Fotoboyz were the best idea and worth every single penny. Misty worked with us to design the print outs and backdrop which came out perfect and totally Gatsby!!! The guys that worked our party, Will and Bobby, brought the life out of our guests and were awesome with getting everyone into the mood throughout the entire night. The guys even took extra pictures with their own camera of our wedding ceremony and candid shots of the guests and venue which they did not have to as it was never even discussed as part of my package. The pictures came out amazing. We even got rained on and the guys were awesome and super cool about everything. We received our copies on a DVD within the same week that we were married. The photos were hysterical as were the videos. Looking back this was the best idea. I am not one to post many reviews online, but I am so grateful for everything that the Fotoboyz did to make our special night unforgettable and had to give them credit for a SPECTACULAR job . They were easy to do business with and extremely professional. A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE!!!!! Regarding the review on here from 2012, I am not sure what happened there and can tell you it seems like it's is a competitor or just plain hater. I give the Fotoboyz 6 stars!

I have found a few for a good price but they just weren't right. I found audio advisors and saw they had a pair so I called. The first and last question I asked was about the condition. The person I spoke with said several times they are like new and even said they are "perfect". He said the person who owned them had several houses and barely used them. To me "like new" means they are just like a new product but were opened and used. And perfect obviously means perfect. To my surprise they did not include the manual like a new pair would and the bottoms of both speakers have several very large scratches all over. This is the most I've spent on speakers and I planned to have these the rest of my life so I would rather not have them than have a pair with damage. Like I said I searched for almost 2 years for the right pair and the pair audio advisors sold me were not as described. I asked several times and each time I was not told the trust. I called to express my disappointment and the same person I spoke with made it seem as if it was my fault. He said "well you did buy a used pair". Yes, I know they were used but I was told several times they looked new and were perfect. Then condescendingly told me "The scratches are on the bottom you won't see them." Okay well there is also a blemish on the front of both speakers. Regardless, thats not the point and he was just making it worse. I was very calm never rude just disappointed but he handled it poorly and never apologized never looked for a solution just made it seem as if it was my fault for buying used. Like I said I asked several times about condition so I don't see how this was my fault. He then said plug them in and listen to them they're great speakers. He never seemed to want to help and never addressed my concerns. I don't know if he even understood (or cared) what the issue was. Additionally, I waited almost 2 weeks for a shipping quote. Fine things take time I get it but the issue was I had to call back after a week and remind them I was waiting. Still nothing after several more days so I called back again and they had the information. I wish they called me to let me know but okay. Lastly, I wanted to mention a few days after the initial call I got a call from the person I spoke with thinking they had the quote but he called me by accident thinking I was someone else. Not a big deal at all but goes to show they are unorganized. Needless to say I am very disappointed with the entire transaction but mostly disappointed my almost 2 year search ended this way. There are plenty of other places out there that are honest and if there was an issue would handle it much more professionally.

Despite giving me a written proposal, we experienced several problems, mistakes and additional charges. That's one thing the owner, Seth Diggs, is really good at - additional charges. Among the installations described in his proposal was: "POOL/PATIO - Use existing ceiling mounted outdoors speakers and replace old omni-directional Bose speakers with new directional rock speakers. Install Sonos amps for both sets of speakers. Check and repair speaker wiring as needed." When one of these new rock speakers went dead within the first year of installation, I called Seth in the hope that he'd stand by his work. He did come to check this speaker but only after he made it clear that he charges "$165/hr for service calls" (never mentioning any minimum charge). Once here Seth found the problem to be a cut speaker wire. He said that when his guys removed the old speakers they connected the new speakers to the old wiring which, he explained, was not (but should have been) buried by the original installer. In the same breath Seth, while admitting his guys didn't bury the wire, said that the original installer should never have left the wire above ground because "sooner or later" it will be cut and that "Paramount doesn't do things that way!" Despite the fact that the proposal included the repair of speaker wiring "as needed" and the fact that Paramount connected the new speakers to the existing above ground wiring, Seth tried to blame original wire installer for the problem (i.e. not burying the wire his guys connected the new speakers to). Now he says, for an additional $1,500, he'll be happy to run/connect about 100 feet of buried speaker wire (which one can buy on Amazon for less than $50)! Moreover, and despite the fact that I previously paid Seth more than $17,000, he was here for only about 20 minutes on the "service call" but insisted upon getting paid $165 now stating, for the first time, that's his minimum charge. Seth Diggs is just not my kind of guy.

He is extremely meticulous and such a perfectionist to the extent I thanked him for it numerous times. I told him if it was much tougher to mount the center speaker horizontally he could mount it vertically but he went ahead doing it exactly the way I wanted without a second thought. He first setup my tv to the receiver with a toslink. After I asked him how I would get Atmos capability he offered to come back to install it with HDMI. At the time I was at work but he was about to head right over. I fiddled on it that evening and I mentioned that a phone call would probably suffice to walk me through it, but I was able to figure it out on my own. He called me the very next day to walk me through it. John has been doing this in the Boston area for many years so please google his Boston location reviewers for more reviews. He only has currently done it in Florida part time as he was only there occasionally but he tells me he will be there full time in a few years. I am extremely happy with the job he has done.
