Took my teenage niece here to check out some albums and c d's. They have a really big selection of record cd's cassettes, and some 8 tracks too.The owner is always there and always very helpful in finding what you need.

    Side aisle right.

I visited this location for the first time recently, whilst on a family vacation in Tequesta. I mapped out a few record stores within a reasonable commute to visit on an unusual chilly and rainy South Florida day. I had researched this record store and read all of your varying reviews here on YELP. My conclusion it was everything I anticipate and more! I have been a music fan since a child in the '70s and have been to countless record stores, both domestically and abroad, since 1979. This particular record store was the best of the bunch I visited in South East Florida. A music diggers dream, or dilemma, if you retain an aversion to controlled chaos. Yes indeed, the store is disorganized, but that is the thrill of the chase for me. I secured some diamonds in the rough that were reasonably priced. As for prices, not one item was priced. However, John the owner was upfront about prices. Particularly, general sections of records. There was a plethora of reggae and rock 45s, with a heavy dose of southern rock 12" records. I secured some original, still sealed vintage metal and rock vinyls, among other goodies. Some nice promotional records and CDs were on hand, as well. The store owner John was a Southern gentlemen, filled with local anecdotal music stories. I found him to be a kindred spirit and down-to-Earth. I had inquired into purchasing a store logo shirt, as I collect them from each new record stores that I visit. He had none to offer but the man literately gave me, pro bono (for free) a new, old copy of a 12" record he played on and a new, old stock cassette he was involved with, as a souvenir for my trip and time spent shopping at his store. I was blown away by that selfless gesture and quite honored. My only regret was that my time was a bit limited that day, as I could have spent hours more digging and chatting. I hope to return on my next excursion in 2023, God willing. In sum, as a few other previous reviewers noted. If seeking a record boutique like that jokers in Juno's record was like, then this record shop may not be your cup of tea. If you are remotely like me, into getting your hands dirty, to dig for original pressings and various pieces of memorabilia, then this store is a music lovers, diggers delight. With plenty of free parking and a convenient location, in the historic town of Lake Park, Florida.

John is a great guy! One of the best collections I've ever seen. Loved spending some time in here + John plays some good tunes while you dig around. Ask about any artist and they got it.

I went there just to browse with my daughter and see if there was anything that caught my eye, we had a nice time doing that the store was clean, and the staff really were in the zone helping people who actually have questions, but they were always present and always moving about so I did feel that if I needed anything, someone was immediately available for me to ask. This is my go to Barnes & Noble because the newest one Tequesta is kind of far but if you have the opportunity check that one out. The layout is totally different and it's a little bit brighter and the staff is a bit more interactive I think because of the newness. Barnes & Noble always has sales. They had plenty of books that were 30% off and buy one get one. And if you become a member, there's a lot of Parks for that too. I think you get 10 or 20% off every purchase. I get mine from being a teacher. I'm sure they have other discount discounts for people who work in other areas. All in all, I appreciate mainly that when I'm there I can use a Barnes & Noble gift card in the coffee shop as well as to purchase books I included photos of some of my favorites attached to this review. If you want recommendations, let me know.. Enjoy! Another review from the hungry poet, straight no chaser! -Lizz

I briefly visited Barnes & Noble to purchase a gift card for my grandson's birthday. There are a…read moreton of gift options near the cash registers so I was able to purchase a couple of impromptu gift items as well. The cashier was very friendly and enrolled me as a member to earn rewards. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained the perks to me. I will definitely return to purchase both books for myself and gifts for others.

Whatever you do, do not grade your cards here. I've had the most terrible experience ever. In a few…read moredays it'll be one full month since I dropped my cards off for grading at GameStop. It has been almost an entire month and guess what, my cards still haven't even made it to PSA yet! Absolutely ridiculous. Furthermore, it took over an hour just to do the process and GameStop and then I had to come back again and repackage them because they never told me it needs to be packaged a certain way. GameStop do better! Literally almost a full month and my cards still haven't made it to PSA yet! Absolutely ridiculous. This location always has issues and their systems also go down all the time. Super frustrated.

I was told they would be in on a certain date. I showed up, the guy told me I was there a month early. He assured I would get a call and email. They claimed to call multiple times but I received no call NO VOICEMAIL and nothing in my missed calls. The manager Erin offered to cancel my order but I'm screwed with the monthly subscription. She told me to let it expire, guess that was too hard for her to do. No customer service and gave away my stuff. What is the point of pre ordering...?

$330 for a USED Xbox One X at GameStop. Virtually anywhere else, it is $299 for a NEW Xbox One X that includes a game.
