Their selection is great, they have a wide assortment of new vinyl and some great used vinyl as well. I picked up a used live Kansas double LP for $8, a very fair price. I also bought a special 2 LP edition of Nirvana Bleach with a 1990 concert, Operation Ivy - Energy and the Minor Threat LP. All prices were either at market or slightly below. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I also liked that they had a listening station where you could check out used stuff. Overall, a very solid five stars. I would absolutely come back here in the future.

Also the staff was very friendly and more than willing to help if we couldn't find something and even offered us some free stickers with our purchase! The inventory is incredible, deep and varied in a way you rarely see anymore. And the gentleman who runs the store is something else: unbelievably knowledgeable, and he knew exactly where every single record was in the shop. He made the whole experience feel personal and easy. Again, I'm not very happy with that policy because I don't like using Zelle for purchases. I like using my credit cards. It's easier to resolve disputes with a credit card.

Most amp/guitar techs are butchers, thieves, and just plain assholes. The guys at Crown are none of the above. They fixed my amp promptly and held great communication the entire process (so I knew what I was paying for). They also have a cool collection of vinyl, turntables, cool shirts, movies, etc. If you need your equipment fixed, this is the place to go!

It took us a few moments of window browsing to realize that this was an old-school seller of vinyl records, so we sent in to take a look. To say it was like a walk down memory lane is an understatement. The place is reminiscent of the old records stores you remember from the past with bins lining the walls and aisles full of albums sorted by artist. Music memorabilia adorn the walls and every genre was represented - certainly a great way to kill an hour just remembering when you last held this, or that, album. Prices were surprisingly affordable, in my opinion. The only downside I have is that I no longer have a record player available. Definitely a place for you if you are, or know, an audiophile. I'm a sucker for a record store, so it was inevitable that I would absolutely love Jake's. It's a…read morelittle bit on the small side but they are jam-packed with really good records. Also, people are hanging out and they're playing music, so it's a really nice vibe. I wound up finding two cool records in their discount bin and my daughter picked up albums by Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne. Overall, we both left happy. While I love to support local businesses and record stores, I do have to mention that their prices are a little bit on the high side. Not that it would prevent me from going back or anything, because like I said it is a great little record shop. However they are definitely more expensive than other area record stores and way more expensive than what you could find online. One of the albums my daughter got was like 36 bucks but we later saw it in the same condition on Discogs for half that.
