Everything was very tasty. This might seem like a small thing, but the iced tea was fresh brewed and very good. I cannot stand iced tea that comes out of a machine or that is powdered. This was clearly fresh and they served it in big mason jars. This is one of my key things with a restaurant. If they don't have freshly brewed tea, I really don't enjoy my meal as much. But it looks like I ran into one very polite and caring employee who was caught in the middle, and a "manager" who was a no-show this last Tuesday. When I received my bag, I asked if the honey mustard was included, as I've previously paid for sauces and not received them. The employee checked the screen and said it was included. To be sure, I opened the bag and immediately noticed I was missing an entire fry. I informed the employee, who shut the window without saying anything. When she returned, she told me I had only paid for one fry. I explained that I ordered a meal plus an additional fry with the McChicken and showed her my receipt. It turned out I had only been charged for the fry included in the meal. I told her I would let it go, as my card locks if I swipe it twice at the same location, but expressed my disappointment since it meant someone in my order would go without. She slammed the window shut. A manager then came to the window visibly upset and repeated that I would need to pay for another fry. I calmly explained again that I understood, but couldn't swipe my card again and would just pass. She angrily asked if a free small fry would "make me happy." I wasn't being confrontational-I was simply pointing out that part of my order was missing. I told her I didn't need a free fry and was okay leaving without it. Despite this, she insisted on giving me one, then returned to the window acting aggressively and asked if the employee had asked whether my order looked correct. I said no, which was true, but it made me uncomfortable as it felt like someone else might get in trouble over an honest mistake. When I got home, I discovered the spicy chicken sandwich meal wasn't even a spicy chicken sandwich. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. I believe this location needs better management, as the manager's aggressive behavior toward customers was unacceptable. I can only imagine how employees are treated.
