After designing our own kitchen remodel and doing our own demo, we shopped at 5 places for…read moreprefabricated cabinets. We stopped into Galaxy Cabinets and after looking very closely at the details of the cabinets they offer, we were sold. The big differences were the thickness of the wood of the surrounding cabinet structure, and the shelves that are held in place with a snap in interlocking system, rather than just a pin shoved in a hole, and the solid maple doors and the full coating of the white shaker doors. Plus, their prices were about the same as the others we looked at without these features. We did all the demo ourselves and emailed our design with our measurements to Galaxy. They returned a line drawing and a quote. There were a few corrections needed, which took a few back & forth emails with Pam, but then the owner, Hill Wang, came up to confirm our measurements and make the final corrections to their plan. Hill is extremely polite and professional. He made a few fabulous suggestions to our design that are so appreciated now that I'm using my new kitchen. We made our deposit by Venmo and within 8 days, Hill's installer, Kevin arrived to install the cabinets. To my perfectionist husband's delight, Kevin was also a perfectionist who measured twice and checked level constantly. There were no nicks, scratches or damage done at all during his careful installation. All these beautiful cabinets were installed in 2 full days, which included him building a very unique, angled island, which he'd not done before, and then customizing a cabinet to fit it. It's perfect and has so much functionality. The process with Galaxy was totally painless. With construction, there's always an unexpected surprise or two. But Hill was so good to remedy it immediately. One of the lower cabinets I wanted was not in stock, so Hill upgraded it to a 3 pull out drawer, which I LOVE, and am so appreciative of and couldn't do without now. This little Galaxy Cabinet showroom in Corona delivered BIG in quality, timeliness, and satisfaction. We couldn't be more pleased and are so glad we gave them our business. Thanks, Hill. Do not under buy countertops from this company. Don't buy anything from them…read more I bought a double-sink bath vanity from this company, with a Carrara white quartz top. Within 4-5 months, cloudy spots formed on the surface. My granite/quartz cleaner didn't help, nor did regular soap and water. The company suggested I use a 3000-grit sandpaper to remove the spots, which I was reluctant to do. I got consultations from two countertop restoration experts in my area (Rose Restoration and Counter Culture) - one who saw the counter in person, one who saw pictures - and they both said the spots were hard-water stains. They also said high-quality quartz does NOT do this. (Indeed, I've got Silestone quartz in my kitchen that's 20+ years old and looks better than my bath counter looked after 5 months.) I sent many pictures to Water Creation and complained about the poor quality. They said their product team had tested their quartz with water and didn't see permanent staining, so it couldn't be water stains. Even though I've had two experts say they are hard-water spots, and the spots are in a pattern that resemble water spots - with many small ones around the sink and faucet area. I've used no harsh cleaners or abrasives on the sink. But they seem to think I'm lying and refused to honor their one-year warranty, which protects against damage from normal use and manufacturer defects. Also, the counter has since developed scratches along the surface, seemingly from a couple of plastic baskets I keep there for toiletries. Water Creation's website advertises quartz as being durable, low maintenance, and stain resistant. It's absolutely unacceptable for it to be scratching and staining from normal use within a few months. It's doubly unacceptable for this company to advertise a warranty and then refuse to honor it by implying that I must have done something to abuse the counter - especially when I have evidence they are water stains and they have no evidence of abuse. But they're the ones who decide if they need to honor their warranty or not, so they can just gaslight customers and go on their merry way. I do like the cabinet part of the vanity, but apparently it's just particle board and will get damaged by water as well (I learned this from reading another review and seeing pictures). Just don't buy from these people. Their countertops are low quality, their warranty is a joke, and they don't stand behind their products.

I purchased the Water Creation Sequoia bathroom vanity from Lowes in December and installed it in…read moreJanuary. Big mistake. The "quartz" countertop is incredibly fragile and stains almost instantly upon any contact with liquid. See the attached video. These spots started appearing within two months after I installed it. Water Creation's initial solution was to tell me that I needed to sand it with a 3,000-grit sandpaper and make sure to wipe the counter immediately after usage -- neither of which is recommended maintenance in the manual. The countertop can't be replaced separately from the unit. I then received a repair quote from a countertop repair company, and guess what -- the company doesn't even think the countertop material is quartz, which they said shouldn't be staining like this. They suspect it's actually Venetian (synthetic) marble. The repair company's recommendation: sand it down and seal it once per month...oddly similar to Water Creation's recommendation, which makes me think they have fraudulently labeled the item as quartz and know it's actually something else. So, it's clearly a manufacturing defect covered under the 1-year warranty. I submitted a warranty claim to Water Creation, but they refuse to honor the warranty by replacing it. Instead, they're telling me to return it to Lowes. Mind you, I've already installed it in the bathroom. I have now found out that Lowes has a secret 30-day return window for this item instead of its usual 90 days, which you won't learn about until you contact them to return the defective item, so they won't take care of it either. I'm so glad I didn't go to the hassle of uninstalling the product from my bathroom, hauling it back to Lowes, and then getting the runaround there. Now I'm caught in a nightmare Spiderman meme: Water Creation says Lowes has to replace it; Lowes says Water Creation has to replace it. Neither party will honor the 1-year warranty. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product like the plague.

Naturally, I tried calling to rectify this--not once, not twice--but several times over several days, leaving messages in vain (pun intended). I even left a message with an actual person (so I know my message was heard), and yet... nothing. Radio silence. Honestly, is it that hard to pick up the phone or return a call? Now, don't get me wrong--the vanity itself looked great at first glance, but the customer service? Utterly abysmal. It's like the moment you hand over your money, every shred of professionalism and support goes straight down the drain. Oh, and don't even bother trying to get through the voicemail system--it's always full. Don't worry, though, if it isn't full, the call will kindly hang up on you anyway. Efficient and impersonal. A winning combination for anyone wanting to test their patience. So here I am now, out of pocket for shelves that were originally supposed to be included with my purchase. And surprise, surprise--no one is responding anymore. Not a peep. It's almost like they disappeared into a void as soon as they cashed my payment. All the spots in the photo are from the sealer. This counter originally had zero spotting, and was a solid grey. You can see the places wiped and not cleared off leaving what looks like hard water spots. Two places the wrong color caulk used was left. The seam has more haze along the length. Apparently this cannot be fixed. Only replaced. 20k wasted. They are terrible. My GC no better since he felt this was good enough.

She came out and measured our kitchen then transferred the information to a computer design so we could mix and match our ideas. She walked us through cabinet styles, finishes and options, as well as counter top materials and finishes. After putting up with our changing our minds every other day we finally got our plan down. She then helped us connect with a cabinet installer and met him at our house to go over every little detail (they figured out filler panels and spacers and that we needed a soffit(?)) I would have never gotten this all correct. She helped us find a contractor to do the needed work. Her vast knowledge from years of experience and easy going personality made what very often is a traumatic time go pretty smoothly.
