I think all women like see how easy the clips opens to tear the quality. I think she just didn't want you messing it up then leaving. My mom ended up purchasing a parole since we can't get them in Alaska. So 2 stars for being express nice to my Filipina mom, but she also agrees the attitude matches the associates.

After a good meal at Chowking I saw this boutique and the scrubs caught my attention but I decided to go inside since they had Filipiniana displayed there. I didn't see the sign about no drinks allowed so I apologized when the elderly ladies told me I'm not allowed to bring it and had my companion hold the drink for me outside. I was looking at alampays and the filipiniana blazers and they suddenly asked me some off putting questions which made my cheerful excitement fade. The first lady was a bit helpful by showing me the different colors that they had then another lady came, she had heavy eyeliner on and I attempted to make small talk even, but they just stood there and gave me a look. I asked to see one that was black that was hung up and she said that I shouldnt try it on if it wont fit me and she wouldnt even show it if I'm not buying it. I told her that it should but she kept on eyeing me like she didn't want to even bother. She then said, "it's $110, you still gonna buy it?" I felt like I was getting body shamed and/or discriminated against, even after I spoke Tagalog to them! I then said okay, I'll just take a photo to show my mom, and then she pointed over to another sign saying no photos, and so I apologized again but at that point the lady just seemed impatiently peeved with me. It's unfortunate because I was actually interested in trying it and possibly buying it but because she assumed I was bigger than the size and couldnt afford it, I just walked away and thanked them. By pure chance--and truly the grace of God--I found Couture Fitoor, and they literally saved my wedding. Neha took my dress and transformed it into something beautiful, flattering, and perfectly suited to me, and I know it was no easy task. She went above and beyond, helping me find the perfect dupatta and jewelry to complement my dress, as well as a beautiful suit for the day after my wedding. I ended up finding everything I needed at Couture Fitoor, and every piece was altered to fit me perfectly. They also have an amazing selection of ready-to-wear clothing for both men and women of all ages, with so many beautiful styles and options to choose from. I'm incredibly grateful to Neha for her talent, patience, and care throughout the entire process. She took what had been an incredibly stressful situation and turned it into something I could finally feel excited and confident about. If you're looking for Indian clothing for a wedding or special occasion, I can't recommend Couture Fitoor enough.

Neha ended up being such a great fit and really understood what I needed to feel comfortable and confident in my lehengas. It was an extremely collaborative process, and with Neha's highly detail-oriented approach, the final outfits were exactly what I wanted. In all, she helped with two lehengas cholis and a suit. Another great bonus is Neha has an extensive collection of boutique clothes, and one of my bridesmaids was able to find her perfect outfit for the Sangeet that was on theme and comfortable. She has many other options that range from the more traditional side to the more modern or Indowestern side. Highly recommend giving her boutique a look if you're attending an Indian wedding and want to find a beautiful piece to wear!
