But Title provides me with the extra motivation, encouragement, support and PUSH that I now crave! Title was welcoming right from the beginning. I was pretty nervous, but it helped that there were all shapes, sizes, ages, men, women and a few kids! By the time I left my first class I was so proud of what I'd accomplished! A little back story...I've always been able to build muscle in my upper body, but destroyed my knee when I was a kid...so lower body and cardio have been a challenge. I'm also a foodie, so the combo of loving food and no cardio...well, I tend to yo-yo a bit! Enter Title Boxing, May of 2015...I was 44 years old, in decent shape but I needed a kick in the pants! I got one! And happily, I was able to do just about all of the exercises even with my physical "limitations"! I still have to modify some stuff...that's just the way it is, you can't let it stop you! And after a year and a half at Title, I haven't stopped! I'm a complete addict! My cardio is...honestly the best it's ever been. I can't even explain to you how pleased I am with my lung capacity! I wish I had done something like this years ago, but I'm very happy I do it now!

It was nice and cool on a hot day yesterday when I was on the treadmill and the same this morning when I went to lift. Very clean, new equipment, varied equipment, the weights were all arranged appropriately (VERY important to my brain), friendly and easy check in process, nice spin studio, seemingly a good class offering, and so not crowded at all. Having belonged to or visited gyms all over the country, this is by far one of the best. I sure hope to be back soon while my hotel is still under construction:)

In a lot of ways, it's your standard PF; a lot of cardio and machines mixed with some free weights. My biggest complaint would be the men's locker room. The problem is the sheer number of people and this location's complete inability to handle the volume. This gym is always packed. It doesn't matter if it's a Saturday morning, a Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., or any other time of day. The odds of the machine you need actually being available are slim to none. The locker room and bathroom facilities also seem to have been built for maybe ten adults, yet there are regularly 20 to 30 people packed inside waiting to use them. It's miserable to navigate, and your workout constantly suffers because of it. I travel for work and have been to more Planet Fitness locations than I care to admit. This is, without question, the worst one I've experienced. I won't be returning to this location. I'm writing this review as much to remind myself as anything else. Dear Planet Fitness corporate: build three more Planet Fitness locations in New Hampshire north of Manchester. There are far more people up here than you seem to think. From that very first workout, I felt supported instead of judged. Coaches like Kylie (her blacklight class was unforgettable!), Anthony, and Cassidy bring so much encouragement, energy, and positivity that you truly feel capable no matter where you're starting from. The front desk team -- especially Samantha and Chelsee -- made everything feel comfortable and easy while I was figuring things out, and their kindness really helped ease those first-day nerves. Honestly, everyone there is amazing. I love the app, the heart rate monitor, and how motivating it is to actually see your progress. Just two weeks in, I already feel stronger, more confident, and more like myself again.
