This place is NOT good. I'm surprised at the high reviews. I ordered pizza and wings for carry out. They were both so bad that we threw more than half of it away. Much better places around to get wings and pizza. Service was fine. read more

Josh Wayne great manager place was so clean bathrooms were gleaming food was delicious highly recommend this restaurant to everyone

One of the best restaurants Kennesaw GA. Top class food complemented by exceptional service. Great atmosphere . I went with my family and really enjoyed the food. read more

Great food !!!! Love the wing & beef on wick platter. Wings are better than the Buffalo original location. Plus, NO snow. LOL Join their Loyalty Program...good deal. Go Bills !!!! read more

Pizza and wings are the best!!!! Homemade sauce on the pizza, the small pepperoni (like the ones I ate in Buffalo as a kid) and an awesome soft crust. Best wings ever. I love the original hot sauce and the habanero ranch dry rub too. Been weekly since they opened. read more

I visit the Anchor Bar in Buffalo at least once a year when we visit my wife's family. The wings and pizza taste the same here as they do in Buffalo! It is fantastic! Pizza logs are one of my favorite things about visiting Buffalo, and the Anchor Bar in Kennesaw's taste better than any I've had before! They have done an excellent job to make their food taste like true authentic Anchor Bar food! read more

I've had better wings from the mall. This was so disappointing. Sauce was thin and flavorless. Outside had no crunch and meat was a poor quality. Blue cheese was pre-packaged and ranch was nothing special. Most of our orders were correct, except for mine --I ordered the Anchor Bar Chicken Tenders which are supposed to be fried and served with fries. They arrived grilled and with nothing but a ranch cup in the box. I will say the pizza logs were good (and unique) and those that got the Weck were pleased (although they brushed the excess salt off the bun after the first bite). We're normally at Buffalo's or Wing Stop but were excited to try something new and hyped up as amazing wings. We paid 30% more than our normal places and it didn't even include drinks...only to be left disappointed. read more

Way way under staffed causing very very slow service. And then a table that came in after us got their appetizers first and got their food first. When asked about ours, was told it would be out soon. Sat for a long time before our drinks were brought out as well. My son ordered a Diet Coke and when he ask for a refill, they had run out of it. We had eaten here about three weeks ago and did not have these problems. Will say food was good, but was it worth the wait, no. So I am not going back anytime soon. A shame. Very good menu, service and waits not worth it. If unable to staff they should close the doors until they can. read more

This is a good, dive, sports bar. Varied menu, friendly staff, lots of televisions. Unfortunately no one cares enough to keep it remotely clean; no management evident. Good wings; my grandson enjoyed the kid's pizza. Darian was a very attentive waiter. I'd raise the rating if the staff mopped and swept once a month. read more

I never like doing this, but it seems the quality of food locally is suffering and the prices keep going up. SALTY, gross Anchor dip/chips & fries and Anchor wedges. Chicken wings "extra crispy" were soggy. Roast beef sandwich was dry, SALTY, and inedible. Burger "medium" was WELL DONE (why ask?!) and a flavorless square. 50 bucks for two and we left hungry and denied a to-go box. Service was friendly but was a waste-of-time-slow. read more

I ordered wings for the family to-go. They were great. Everyone i encountered when I picked them up was very nice and cheerful. We will definitely be back again! read more

food, service, ambiance-everything! my friends and i had a great time at trivia night, which is hosted on Thursdays! our waiter Ceven was knowledgeable, personable, & added so much to our experience. The wings are amazing, and the bartenders definitely know what they're doing! read more

I really like the food here but have to say for the last 3 visits, we waited an excess of 30-40 minutes for our food and no apologies from the server. Is there a staffing shortage?? Makes you wonder. I am not too excited with returning. read more

This place is has THE BEST WINGS!!! And on top of that they have amazing service. AVA was amazing and super attentive on a busy football Sunday. The manager also changed the station on the tv that played the game we wanted to watch. And please please please order the flourless chochotte tarte and the Reese's peanut butter pie!!! So amazing!!CANT WAIT TO COME BACK! Thank you Ava and the entire Anchorbar team!! read more

Great people work here and it's a fabulous restaurant! Go out and support this awesome team and enjoy the libations and yummy food!

We love the wings here. They are on the smaller side which I prefer. We ask for them extra crispy. They do not disappoint.

As someone from western NY, these are the real deal. Always friendly and good service. Happy to drive 40 minutes for this place.

Saw the new place and thought I'd give it a try! When you walk in you're immediately greeted by the humble hostesses. Our Waitress was so amazing And attentive. We felt very taken care of! And then...boom - Holy Crap, the most delicious chicken philly I e ever had in my life Especially with some wings. I drooled the whole time and food was gone in like 5 minutes. I can't wait to come back - and that will be ASAP! Thanks guys for an amazing time! read more

Made our first trip on Friday night. Tried the wings and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was nice and the number of TVs made it a great spot to watch some games. I'll be back for sure. read more

We dined in the other night and had a great experience. Lots of TV's, good drink menu, really good wings. Jamie, the manager, stopped by multiple times to make sure everything was great. We'll be back! read more

Food was mediocre, service was little to none. Honestly don't expect it to last more than a year. Really sad Fuddrucker's isn't there anymore. read more

Went in. Maybe 5 tables full. Was taken all around to bar area where the host said someone would be right w us. Bar had about 10 and 2 bar tops full. Sat there w our menus for 8 minutes and was never acknowledged. Host went back by, nothing. If the bar keep was to take our order, he never looked our way. So, we left. Owner came out to ask why we left and we told him. He asked if we would be back. HELL NO!!!!!! read more

We are from Buffalo, we've visited the Anchor Bar plenty of times. This was NOT a good first impression here in GA. Food took over an hour to get (including apps) and came out cold and some meals were entirely missing. Dressing for the salad and wings came out in tiny cups you couldn't even fit a wing in. Asked to talk to manager who refused to come over. Don't waste your time and if you can't make it to Buffalo for the original, go to Taco Mac. Just as good of wings and better service. Also, no one was wearing gloves and staff that were wearing mask kept removing them, wearing them below the nose or touching them over and over. read more

This place is so good! Great food, great staff. If only it wasn't a stupid freaking Bills bar. I hate the Buffalo Bills!

Great place to go with friends and family. Menu is pretty good. Outdoor seating, full bar, great service and staff never disappoint you. The wings are delicious and burgers are perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant. A genuine sports bar. read more

I really enjoyed the wings here (both regular and boneless). The spicy Parmesan garlic sauce is great here. Our server Rebecca was awesome and helpful! Will be regulars here! read more

I was disappointed tonight when I went to the Anchor Bar. The wings were like Cornish game hen-sized wings. The restaurant was about 40% capacity and the food took an usually long time to be served. But the most surprising aspect was the the cost. I still have sticker shock! Most taverns in Atlanta this same meal would have been 30% less. New York prices; below average sized-wings. read more

Pleasantly surprised to see this new restaurant . Went there on a Wednesday night. Not crowded and menu looked great. Hubby got 10 regular wings (automatically served with medium sauce). He asked for extra crispy. I ordered the boneless wings with mild sauce. No sides. Typical bleu cheese and celery comes with them. They had a special for a dirty margarita. When we quizzed our waitress, she had to ask the bartender what made up their special drink. It was a margarita with bourbon instead of tequila. We both ordered it and agreed, it was strange tasting. Wouldn't recommend it. We waited for over an hour for our wings, which seemed odd since the restaurant wasn't busy. Waitress explained it was taking longer because we'd both asked for extra crispy. In all fairness, they've only been opened 2 months, so kinks will happen. My mild sauce was quite spicy, wouldn't recommend it for those who don't like hot spicy sauce. We don't think we'll be back because there are many choices in the Kennesaw area that we like better. If you love sports, this is the bar for you with lots of TVs showing football, baseball and even hockey. Overheard another waiter saying to get there around noon on Sundays due to a packed house wanting to watch games and eat their favorite wings and beer. read more

The customer service is amazing! Alyssa is a great waitress and Brandon is a fantastic manager. I highly recommend coming to enjoy great food and great service!! read more

Some of the best wings that I have had in Atlanta. Really enjoyed and we will be regular customers at Anchor Bar.

Well first off I was very excited to try this place out. The problem started when I tried to call and place a takeout order. There was a problem with the phones where I would be disconnected each time I called, I called 5 times. So I came to the restaurant in person to order the food against what I wanted to do. I ordered the food and waited about 15 minutes and then left. I get home to realize that the 10 honey garlic wings is ordered were not there. I call and stated that my order was incomplete and was told to come back in. The restaurant isn't exactly far but surely not close. So again I drive back to get the wings I have already paid for. I get there and the front hostess station seemed to be somewhat perplexed by why I didn't get my wings and asked for my receipt which I mistakenly left at home. They did give me a new 10 piece that I waited another 10 minutes for. In conclusion I realize this is a new restaurant with new employees but it's very discouraging having to drive back and fourth and a simple sorry was too little too late. I'm unsure if I want to return at this time. read more

Our server was great. But the food tasted like everything was bought ,pre-made and processed McDonald's is better will not be back

Nice welcome and first impression was a nice relaxed ambiance with loadsa Telly's. We paroused the beer list and no amber and only a pumpkin brown ale so nowt for us beer snobs. Tried a Long Island which was mediocre but found they do the best bloody Maria's in town. Really good mix and well constructed. Our waiter Nials was a cool dude who looked after us well. We ordered the loaded fries, the buffalo wing pizza and the quesadilla. The quesadilla arrived semi prepped with only chicken meat inside, Nials took it back into the kitchen and it was turned around really quickly and when it came back out the manageress bought it herself took ownership & apologized. You can tell most about a restaurant when you have an issue and it was handled exceedingly well. Meanwhile we had eaten the loaded fries with nacho cheese and bacon, really good and we attacked the pizza which I loved their buffalo sauce. Overall a great experience despite some small issues and we will come back here again as it was fun. read more

We love Anchor Bar and come here about once a week. Husband just discovered their Nashville Hot Chicken and will probably never order anything else. Their spicy garlic parm wing sauce is delish and our daughter loved the avocado burger today too. I typically order the Buffalo chicken wrap and rarely step out of my comfort zone. Plenty of tvs for sports watching and super friendly staff - Alyssa is our favourite! read more

Last Saturday did us in. The bartender was rude, service was terrible. We waited a very long time for drinks and food and when our food finally arrived, it was cold. This is the 3rd time this has happened and I don't think we will be back. Seems that when Brandon (gm) is away everything just falls apart. read more

Anchor Bar satisfied our hunger pains and kept the cold beer coming. The service was fantastic and the restaurant is very clean.
