This is in response to the "manager" who commented on my review. Couple of things. How would we get there 15 minutes before your kitchen opens? Y'all open at 11:30, and that is when we got there. Does your kitchen not open until 11:45? Why would you open your doors if the kitchen isn't open? Why wouldn't our server say "Just FYI the kitchen doesn't open for another 15 minutes so your food will be delayed." Secondly, I never mentioned anything about the Tavern Dip. Are you perhaps referring to another table? Lastly, what complaint are we supposed to make that could be rectified? Are we supposed to complain about why our order was taking so long or why other tables were prioritized? I am not sure what could have been done about it. The food was great! Randa was a hoot and a lot of fun. She's a gem and was very personable to everyone at the table.

When I lived in the area, I was regular-ish here. Since I moved away, I visit every time I'm in town either for lunch, dinner or drinks. Or any combination of those. Last week, I was here again. At the bar. Service has always been good, attentive, friendly and what you should expect anywhere! I did not eat during this visit, just beers this time. But in the past, the food has always been good, as I recall. And although I didn't review the menu, I remember the menu being fairly extensive and had everything you'd want! The beers were good, the atmosphere is always as you'd expect in a sports bar with plenty of tv's around, music playing and is just an all around fun and friendly place. This is always a go-to spot. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely visit for a meal again. read more

This was my first time at Old Town Tavern. I was thoroughly disappointed. My server was flirting with a man at the bar the whole time. She sent the guy she was flirting with out to give us menus and take our drink orders. He brought the waters to us and told us he actually wasn't a server and that ours would be right out. When she came out, she told us how hung over she was and had a slight attitude. We ordered drinks which were good. Then we ordered appetizers that were not the same as described on the menu. We ordered the garlic knots and they were not knots, instead they were just small cubes of bread. The steak nachos were good. My friend ordered the burger and she said it was the saltiest burger she has ever had. We had to walk inside to pay our tab and then leave because our server never came back out. Again, she was flirting with the customer at the bar. Will not be returning. read more

Randa was fantastic and loved the honey Siracusa wings so much bought more to take home. She was wonderful and was a great server!!!

I got to say this is one of the worst places I have ever been to I show up there and I'm dressed up nice and I get kicked out for no reason I got kicked out because they said I was drinking at another bar and I got kicked out this is one of the worst white trash nastiest places I ever been to!! read more

Service was fantastic. The Wait staff were so friendly and nice. I ordered the salmon sandwich and it was very tasty and fries were crispy. My friend had the chicken salad wrap and it was ever good as well. Can't wait to go back to try something new. read more

I've driven past these thousands of times. I've heard they have good burgers but it's a little farther from home than my usually, but tonight I met some friends here. They decorate for Christmas and it's really cute with lights and nutcrackers. Lots of big TVs so you don't miss any football! Tvs were loud but I think they adjusted the volume as the night went on and the crowd thinned. Food was great. We started with the garlic knots which come with marinara and cheese dip. I didn't think that I would like cheese dip on my garlic knots, but oh I was so wrong. I also thought I would only eat one. Wrong again. We all ordered sandwiches, and honestly, each one looked better than the next. One friend had the French dip and another had the chicken Cordon Bleu, and I had the avocado chicken and bacon. All delish. I subbed chili for my friends for an up-charge of $1 and it was worth it. Great experience- great place to watch a game. Love the holiday festive decor. Good service! read more

The food was good. I got the 8oz steak, steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes and brown gravy. The broccoli was slightly over steamed (more than I like it) but tasted good. The steak was really good, juicy, and great flavor. I had a corona and shiner bock. Both were cold (SB was so cold there was some slight ice crystals but I love that!!) Service was good the bartender (I ate at bar) was nice and attentive (and beautiful- not a requirement but I'm a single guy). Either someone bought everyone at the bar a shot or it was from the bar. It's a large sports bar with plenty of televisions and a friendly bar staff. It's popular amongst locals and has a good variety of menu options for someone who doesn't just want to eat fried food. I like their salads and they serve wine as well as beer and liquor. It has a separate dining area with booths, but you can still view your favorite sports team. The large bar area always has a friendly local crowd and the bar staff is attentive and can make a good drink or shot. It's a great spot to meet up with friends to watch a game and grab a bite. Occasionally, there is live music on the weekends. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to watch your favorite team with a good crowd and great service. read more

Literally best service and place to eat! First off we didn't realize we walked up an hour before they open. As we were walking away they told us no don't wait out in the heat come in, sat us, got us drinks and went ahead and let us order. Been to Olde Town a number of times. Figured it was time to write a review. My wife and I met our friends for dinner. I had the wings (hot) and fries. My wife had the peel and eat shrimp. Our friends had the French Onion soup, garlic knots and a salad. Overall, the food is always great. I will say the wings were not as hot as expected. Some kick, but definitely on the milder side for hot. My wife said the shrimp were excellent. The garlic knots come with both marinara and a beer flavored cheese dip. If you want to catch a game and some really good grub, stop in. You will thank me. read more

I've been here a few times now. The place is clean. There are tons of TV's for sporting events. The service has always been great. Admittedly, I have not eaten a wide variety of foods here. Went here Saturday night, they were not crowded at all. Seated pretty quick, however the service was horribly slow. The food was not up our previous visits in terms of flavor and food temperature. The worse part was that they were playing rock music super loud. We asked form them to turn it down two separate times. The table next to ours got their food to go for the same reason. They need to make a decision if they want to be a sports bar or and restaurant- they clearly can't be both. read more

Ridiculous. We were there for over 40 minutes and I never got my drink. My wife got her Prosecco well after an appetizer of fries finally arrived at our table. No water until the fries were almost gone. I first ordered a Heineken as it's picture was on the draft beer page. Tick tick tick. No Heineken on draft. Ok, a Red Hare. Tick tick tick. We're out of Red Hare. The bartender was wandering around chatting but evidently not interested in rolling out drinks. We told the server this was unacceptable and we had no qualms with her. She said it also depended on what kind of "mood' she was in. The bartender. Seriously?! Tick tick tick. We finally told her to cancel the pizza we had ordered and bring the check. Absurd. I have never. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

30+ televisions, great pizza, wings, cold beer! This is a place to watch the game. If you are in Kennesaw, skip the traditional spots (hooters, Hudson grille, twin peak, etc) and hit up this spot. The pizza is really the star of the show with some of the best crust I've had in a long time. The wings - and their sauces -- are quite good but (for wings) they are a bit overpriced // 10 for $15 is steep. We will def be back because this place is big, appropriate atmosphere, and a solid option for avoiding TacoMac and other blah spots. read more

Ok so this was one of the BEST FRENCH DIP SANDWICHES IVE HAD IN A WHILE. Forgive the photos, as I had it delivered (they are on Uber eats!! not sure about other ordering apps) and I couldn't help myself and had already started eating!!! (I ate a half of half of my sandwich prior to taking photos) Good portion of meat... wish there was a little more. (But don't we all!) But the bread was perfect- not soggy- not burnt- just perfect!!! The au jus was great. The potatoes skins were full and were more like twice cooked baked potatoes. Pickles w/ sandwich was greatly appreciated and unexpected. Food was great but it's not safe COVID wise. Employees were not wearing masks and if they were of course it wasn't worn properly. Under your nose or wearing it as a chin strap does nothing for you. No social distancing guidelines as the restaurant was packed to capacity. I have a feeling that I'm going to have to take a rapid test after I leave. I'm basically restating an earlier review because I had the same experience. Pros: lots of TV, that's it Cons: took a while to get approached for seating, wait staff is so slow. The garlic knots are NOT like how they are pictured on their menu. On their menu it is the traditional hand-knotted garlic knot. The garlic "knots" we received were puffy squares and almost look like they were not hand made in the kitchen today, but rather they look prepackaged. My boyfriend even stated that the old knots used to be better when they were actually knots. We also both had burgers, both subpar. read more

Start with the positives. Large bar area. Lots of TVs. Nice vibe. Negatives: one toilet for women, with a place as large as it is...I find this very odd. Remodel the bathrooms and the very small hallway they are in. Just horrible. Food: average. I've never heard of a Greek salad with eggs in it. Strange. Not much else to say about the food. Sub-par. Prices are TOO HIGH Service: slow. Also feel like no one is ever attending the bar. Waited for 10 mins before anyone approached me. This happened two different times. Also maybe the fact that everyone I've seen working at the bar is female. The girls tend to go straight to the men before the females to take orders. All in all, not my favorite place. read more

Just came back from Olde Town Tavern & Grille. I don't know what the rest of the food is like but we had the small pizzas and they were fantastic! Thick and flavorful--I got mine with feta and kalamata olives and my guy got his Hawaiian style. Waitresses were all attractive and service was good. My only complaint would be the AC was on too high. Today happened to be unseasonably cool and inside the restaurant it was VERY chilly. May have been wonderful on a 95 degree day. Next time I will dress for it. read more
