I needed 4 more of the shackles which is why I placed the second order. Paid to have them shipped Priority Mail. The shipping was $11 for $14 parts. I am 5hrs away from the store. 9 days later I still haven't received my order. The Post Office mishandled it. Based on new tracking it will be here in three more days. That's 12 days to go a 5 hr drive. I called the store and explained that I wanted a refund for my shipping charge. I paid the store the money, not the Post Office. It is their responsibility to deal with the Post Office since they are the Post Office's customer. Guy at the store gave me a "tough s***" attitude. Says "it's only $11". Yeah, that's right "it's only $11" so give me my $11 back that I paid you to get it to me in three days, tops. That's the guarantee of Priority Mail. On top of this, the original shackles I received were of such poor quality. The holes for the bolts weren't even round. I had to drill them out to get them round because the bolts would not even go through them. I have bought from them for years and now I have a problem and they don't want to know me. Guy even said to me he could care less about my "$20 order". The order was $14 parts and $11.02 Priority Mail. I guess he doesn't care then about the $100 order I placed three days before this, or the thousand I spent for other multiple orders.

I have a later model Ford Maverick, and up until this point, all service had been performed at the dealer. Knowing that I needed new tires (and not wanting the OEMs), I reached out to Houser's and spoke with Mike, detailing what I wanted. Mike communicated effectively and promptly, and he didn't try to pressure me into something else because he could tell I knew what I wanted. We made an appointment about two weeks in advance, as he had to order the tires from a supplier. Mike managed to find the tires cheaper from a different supplier and even found a rebate for the set from Cooper Tire. Bonus! I arrived about 10 minutes early, and they started about 10 minutes after the appointment, which I didn't think was bad at all. I had set my expectation at 90 minutes out the door. About 80 minutes after the start of the appointment, I was ready to roll. The only thing that made me apprehensive was how packed the lot was and the difficulty finding a spot. As Mike stated to me, if you can get off the road (Baltimore Pike), you are good. Seeing the sea of autos on the lot gave me a little anxiety before I opened the door. I thought, oh no, I am walking into a situation where the shop is slammed and I'm going to be here for 3 hours! However, the fact that I didn't have an extended wait time tells me that Mike is managing everything very effectively. The waiting room was comfortable and empty, but occasionally a customer would come in. Mike dealt with their concerns in a friendly and speedy manner.

On March 14th, 2024, Hauser sold me two Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring tires for $176 each (they're $99 from Pep Boys, a 177% markup), and I asked them to put them on the FRONT of the car. On August 9th,2024, they charged me $160 to install two tire pressure sensors (they're $20 each, a 400% markup!). During the sensor installation, they put one of the NEW tires on the REAR of the car. They need to look up the term 'ATTENTION TO DETAIL'. Now I have to pay someone else to move the new tire to the front of the car to FIX THEIR WORK. They also scuffed the paint on my truck installing 4 new tires, again at almost 200% markup. Each time I took my vehicles there, I provided written instructions on the service I wanted. They have never done everything I asked for, but they always sold me something I didn't need with a huge markup. Apparently, they're too short sighted to realize that they can only PRICE GOUGE their customers once or twice, then we get smart and find someone who isn't so GREEDY!

just found out i was charged 130 dollars to "clean" the broken turn signal switch. a whole new…read moreswitch is 53 dollars and 2 bolts to change. what an absolute scam..... also was quoted 720 flat fee for valve adjustments (which they didnt do and i had to have re-done 3 weeks later) and was charged 867 dollars for supplies and other BS. was called 4 times by someone to remove my review and called twice by the GM to "talk" but only after i threatened litigation . my cam chain tensioner went bad after 2 weeks and locked my motor up. thankfully there was no catastrophic damage . there is no way ... also was charged 182 dollars for an oil change i was told was 90. every step of the experience was terrible. almost 2 months, never changed the brake pads, said they didnt have time, but made me sign a wavier saying how terrible they were then sold them to me as i was leaving . never adjusted the valves but was charged 900 dollars, never changed the cam chain tensioner just "cleaned" it and it broke 2 weeks later leaving me stranded with a broken engine costing me 290 to be towed 2 hours. With my own single din radio in my hand for my 95 mustang GT. This man KEPT pressuring me saying "no you don't wanna put that in that nice car". Then he proceeds to ask me to buy my car, HUH? Very unprofessional! I told him the reason I wanted the single din is because my car is converted, only had space for the single din to fit. He still insisted that I pay $50 for a touchscreen radio he just took out of someone else's car who "wanted a bigger screen". my fault for trusting this scammer. He ordered the 7in kit to install, next day I go and like I said it does not fit. He then called his friend at some back alley shop in Wilmington. Then guy tried his hardest to fix the issue. He ended up cutting parts out of my car... (i was obviously trying to avoid that). he needed more slack to fit the radio kit in & he cut a zip tie that was holding my oil pressure line. Which led to the line just hanging on the ground. When he was finished and got the radio all installed I asked him can he zip tie the line back in. He said "oh you can just do that when you get home. Wth ? Of course on the drive home oil my car started smoking and spraying oil all over. And get this! THE RADIO ABSOLUTELY DID NOT WORK! I reached out to yento to see how can all of this be takin care of. He told me bring the car by in the morning. I did that thinking he'd do it right then. Number 1 i already do not trust you because you sold me a non working radio. He says to me "you can go". I said i stay where my car is. He looks at me and says in the rudest way "all my cars cost more than this one" then proceeds to point to an old orange pickup truck lol. Then he jokingly says "I did 15 years in jail, my word is everything. Okay? Do yourself a favor and go to Bestbuy. Save yourself the headache seriously. This man has no clue what he's doing.
