Also if I bought a better boat it would get better work. That was just one of the cheap installs they did. Everything they installed I'll have to fix on a brand new boat that I bought from them. Buyers beware of this shop.

I wanted a 2.5 HP motor and was told they had one in stock. I said I'd be there the next day. I drove to their location near US Route 40 and entered their showroom. I stood around for about 15 minutes before someone asked if I was being helped. Glad to finally have my presence acknowledged I asked for help. After finalizing the purchase I was directed to their marina south of town to pick up the motor. The salesman called ahead to let them know I was coming. I got to the marina and entered the store area. I again had to wait 15 minutes before someone offered to help me. The motor I got wound up not being ready for use. After putting on a small sailboat it wouldn't keep running. After going fo ra couple minutes it would surge and stall. This happened about ten times as I paddled the boat back to shore in 95 degree weather. I suffered heat exhaustion as a result. The next day I put the motor on a jon boat and tried again. Again it kept stalling. I viewed a You Tube video about the motor to insure I was starting it correctly but it kept stalling. After about an hour it finally stayed running. The Anchor technician omitted a couple of steps involved in starting the motor. Even after watching the instructional video the engine was very difficult to get going. Their total indifference to helping customers was very off putting. I won't do business there again.

Called more than a dozen RV dealers and repair centers and all could take me in for repair or the time to first available date was at least three months before or more before I could get a service date. No surprise it's spring and the RVer has been waiting all winter to get out there. We are full timers so a timely repair was Essential. Stoltzfus could give give a date six weeks out from when I called. I took it based on reviews from several sources. I arrived on the agreed date and time at Stoltzfus RV went to the receptionist. She effectively pulled up our appointment and handed us off the service advisor. We went over the problem, explained in detail my findings. The service advisor explained the up from Costs, their is a $150 trouble shooting fee that is then applied to the bill when the work is complete. I was told the repair would take one to two weeks. The RV went into the shop on Thursday. Friday afternoon I got a call with the trouble shooting and costs. All of that was clear and the advisor made it easy to understand and answered all my questions. The following Thursday I received a call from stoltzfus that the RV was ready to go so I arranged a pickup the next day. I have run the refrigerator through its operations the past week or so to be sure that it would perform perfectly before heading out on our summer run. Every one at Stoltzfus was courteous, respectful, and helpful. Even the guys working the yard would check if I had ever I needed. Ok bottom line on service 5 star.

As I was waiting for it to be done my rep and the mechanic come out and tell me I need brakes and if I wanted them to do it. I had hardly used the RV and the mechanic said that sometimes on GMC'S the brake controller is not right. Well I told them I would take it to my mechanic to have the brakes done. After I dropped the RV off at my mechanic ,they told me to come get it that I didn't need brakes . It was 3 or more years later that I needed brakes. Another incident : I had to have a new roof put on RV (over $10,000). About a year after it was done I went in for my forever warranty inspection and was told the roof needed new seals ($1200).How is this possible they just did the new roof less than a year ago. So, I had them redo seals on roof. Now less then a year later I am getting ready for a trip and my bed is wet. I go up on the roof and the seal on fan over my bed is severly cracked. Call General RV and let them know ( they only warranty seals for 3months). There answer was it was a rough year weather wise for seals. How about that for bullshit!!Every year must be a rough year for seal . It's either that or forbid I say maybe they don't know what they are doing at their work establishment. Needless to say I am going to let my forever warranty expire just so I don't have to deal with such incompetence and thievery. It a shame that we RVer's have to deal with companies like this. With 10 minutes notice Summit North got me a transient slip for the night. I explained that my 22'Cape Cod Catboat does not maneuver well under power, especially in close quarters. I was told not to worry and that there would be folks to help me as soon as I pulled in. True to their word, I had plenty of help from the staff with dock lines. They eased me up to the fuel dock so I could top off my tanks and then very considerately helped pull me into a slip that easy to access, even with my limited steerage. Everyone was super friendly and helpful right from initial call to my departure for Annapolis. I highly recommend Summit North and if I lived in the area, I would definitely use them all year. I only wish all marinas were that good.

This place is what a boat parts store should be. 1. They…read morehave reasonable prices. 2. Most of their inventory is in sight which allows you to walk the aisles and see things you forgot to put on your list. 3. In many instances, they have the mercury/quicksilver part and right next to it will be the Sierra equivalent at a lower price point which gives you the opportunity to compare on the spot. In addition, last year I bought a boat that had a bad engine. I bought new manifolds and risers first from Ken and he told me where to check the engine for cracks. I found them where he said they'd be. He also had a used engine in his storeroom that was a much newer version of what I had already. His asking price was reasonable. When I came to buy it he loaded it on my truck. He lent me the alignment tool, and he gave me the newer style steering mechanism so I wouldn't have to track down new hoses and fittings. Engine went in without issue, but the alternator wouldn't charge. I pulled it off, threw it in the car along with his alignment tool, and he swapped the alternator for another used one he had in the back. The location is about 100 miles from me, but it's always worth the drive. I haven't tried them for mail order, but for walk in retail, they're great.

We purchased a boat from **Nuwave Marine over TWO MONTHS ago**\. Two months\. And somehow, the paperwork that should have been handled as part of the sale is still nowhere to be found\. Thanks to this unbelievable mess, our boat is currently sitting there looking beautiful and serving its new purpose as a **very expensive lawn ornament** because we cannot legally use it in our state without the proper documentation\. But don't worry -- Nuwave Marine has apparently developed a revolutionary new customer service strategy: **ignore the customer and hope they eventually stop calling\.** We have called\. We have emailed\. We have called again\. We have emailed again\. And what have we received? **Crickets\.** Apparently once they have your money, customer service becomes an optional feature\. What's especially impressive is that we've asked repeatedly for something incredibly complicated: **information\.** We aren't asking them to build us another boat\. We aren't asking for a miracle\. We simply want the paperwork that should have accompanied the sale and an explanation of what the hell is going on\. Instead, we get absolutely nothing\. It's honestly impressive how difficult Nuwave Marine has managed to make something that should be a basic part of selling a boat\. At this point, I have more information about the boat's engines than I do about the paperwork that is supposed to make the boat legally usable\. **Two months after handing over a significant amount of money, we still don't have what we need -- and apparently getting a response from Nuwave Marine requires a level of persistence normally reserved for tracking down a missing person\.** If you're considering buying a boat from this company, my advice is simple: **DO NOT assume the paperwork will be handled\. Verify EVERYTHING before you hand over your money\.** Because apparently at Nuwave Marine, the transaction ends when they get paid\. The customer service, the communication, and apparently the paperwork? **Those are all sold separately\.** Would I recommend Nuwave Marine? **Absolutely not\.** Unless, of course, you're in the market for a really expensive lawn decoration\. In that case, they're apparently experts\.
