First of…read moreall, if you have a username and password and you signed into their portal to set up your account, you cannot pay by credit card. They will only allow you to pay through your bank account using a username and password. Then, if you go onto their website and don't sign in to an account but just select 'pay your bill' and use a credit card they charge you a service fee. for using your credit card. A utility company! Then after you have entered all the information to make your payment, before you are allowed to get a receipt, you have to fill in another form and provide information which you've already provided including your name, address email and phone number. Only then, will they give you a receipt for your payment. The bottom line is they are making it very difficult to make a simple payment. They are also making it more expensive if you use your credit card. And they are making it confusing by having different rules if you have a 'portal' account sign from if you go to their site & choose the 'make a payment' option. I just spent 35 minutes on the phone with a customer service agent from Liberty. Just trying to make a payment and that's how long it took me. Worst experience from a utility company ever and I'm a senior citizen who's been paying utility bills for over 45 years.

The commercial application process is a nightmare & very time consuming. I had service turned on for my business in 2021 after months of gathering the proper information for the application, service for electric with national grid was transferred to my name in one phone call. 2 years later I receive a note on my door that I need to contact Liberty to avoid service interruption. They need a whole new application from me, did the whole process over again and didn't hear anything further. Today I find out my gas was SHUT OFF!!! Contact liberty they still need tax documents & an automated payment form which I have email confirmation that they received in 2021!!

I paid $60 ahead of time for a 'safety check.' I was told it would be done with the first delivery. I waited for the delivery and was told I had to be there for the safety check. the guy delivered the propane, but was then told by him that he doesn't do safety checks. called them. they said someone was supposed to call me as the delivery guys don't do safety checks. but, no one had called me. I scheduled a safety check for the following monday. I've waited all day for them to arrive. I called twice spoke with a lazy person, who kept promising me that the technician was in the area and he'd be there. in 15 minutes. in a half hour. he didn't arrive. I called and luckily spoke with the manager because they are short staffed. he actually texted the safety check guy and GUESS WHAT. safety check guy said he did the safety check in the morning and spoke with the owner. GUESS WHAT!? that guy, his name is Russ, lied. he never did any safety check at all. I was home all day. I think he came in the driveway and turned around but didn't get out of the car. he did speak briefly with my landlord, who was outside, but not me. I'm the name on the account. Russ has got to be a pathological liar. While the manager seems like a decent guy, that is not enough. I'm making a complaint to the Mass. AG.

This was the 9th one I visited. It took us a couple seconds to figure out the entrance to the parking lot and the main entrance to the building. Since it was a Friday morning, it was almost empty and quiet. When you first walk in, the checkout counter is right in front of you and there were about two librarians who greeted us with a smile. I was gravitated towards a table on bicycling - apparently there are efforts to make at least southern RI more accessible by bike which is nice. They did have free little bike lights, so I took one. To the right of the table, the painted glass windows caught my eye. It gives a nice touch to the study tables they have there. There is a stand that has puzzles, I think to do there, but also to take home (this is perfect for people like me who like doing puzzles but don't like owning them). There is only one floor, but they have made good use of it as the material is well organized by genres and age groups. This includes movies in CD form. We did not spend too much time here but before leaving, we used the bathrooms. They are handicapped accessible, single person at a time use, and very clean.

The only qualm I had with my delivery was that I requested someone call a half hour before arrival but they called when they arrived instead. Thankfully I was home so it was no issue. The first delivery went great, the gentleman was extremely friendly and professional. He ensured my oil tank was in good shape, then filled it up with no issues. It was a great price compared to other companies in the area, I gave them my credit card number and they took payment automatically the following Monday after delivery. Looking forward to using this company for oil deliveries going forward!

Because the furnace overworked to turn on, (3) a valve needs to be replaced ($175 for electrician) and (4) plumber and valve (at least $400) and this does not include lost wages for time away from work or inability shower/sleep/live in house. All because one receptionist would not schedule an oil delivery. I asked what they were now prepared to do. Mike offered me the option to join the automatic delivery plan (that is available to all customers and most oil companies). Please go with a different oil provider. Their prices may be low, but you will pay so much more on ineptitude. I'm considering my options for small claims court. Unbelievable.
