I've been to numerous &pizza locations and this one lacked in customer experience. We usually split a pizza and are able to order 2 different kinds from the specialty menu, but they insisted that we can only split a pizza if its custom order- never heard of that from other &pizza locations. Also when they were finishing off our pizza, we wanted the balsamic sauce in only one side of the pizza, and even after repeatedly mentioning it, they still sauced the whole pizza. The poor customer experience made our &pizza experience less enjoyable, particularly at this location. read more

If you are looking for something quick, tasty, and filling before your flight, then look no further then &pizza. There are some 'unwritten rules' at this location that don't seem to apply to the other &pizza locations. If you want more than one type of cheese, it will cost you $1 extra. The options are a bit unique, not just your run of the mill build-your-own pizza joint. I've been wanting to try &pizza so I was so excited to see at the IAD airport. Especially in concourse C, I didn't see any other options that looked good. I decided to order the farmer's daughter, which has fresh mozzerella, sausage, spinach, an egg, hot sauce and other delicious ingredients! I was able to add on mushrooms for no extra charge. The pizza was delicious. I loved everything, but was a little sketched out by the raw egg. When they put the pizza through the oven, the egg didn't really cook all the way (or at all!), so it was pratically raw on top of my pizza. I'd suggest avoiding the egg if you are sensitive to eating raw things--even the white portion of the egg was just kind of gooey and gross..... Everything else was really great though. I especially loved the fresh mozzerella and I thought they were really generous with the amount of toppings they gave out. The sauce is fresh and tangy, the sausage is slightly spicy. I just thought that all of the ingredients were super fresh and of high quality, which I loved--really hard to find this in an airport. Can't wait to be back in NYC to try one of their brick and mortar locations. read more

Wow - this place completely exceeded my expectations! The service was quick and so friendly, the space is really nice and thoughtfully designed with plugs everywhere to get a charge before your flight and the pizza and handcrafted sodas were delicious! I made my own pizza with artichoke hearts, mushrooms and broccoli with a strawberry vinaigrette drizzle...and loved every bite of it! Great concept and fresh ingredients. What I do not like where the employees who are not friendly and actually hostile. Every week that our new limits on the number of toppings on their specialty pizza. This varies from employee to employee. Last week, it was Delilah (?Deliah- they have no badges and mumble their name out if you ask) who limited my topping to three. As a pilot whenever I stop at Dulles and I'm hungry I try to swing by &pizza. Great stuff for cheap. For $10 I usually get the "Farmer's Daughter" and always enjoy it. My last time I didn't have the best service in part because they were really unorganized and barely spoke English. They aren't rude or anything but have a hard time understanding what toppings you want or other simple requests. I'm sure it will get better read more

Bland and tasteless. Unfortunately one of two places in the whole airport for pizza I tried this place since it was close to my gate. Service was quick and that was the only thing to please me. The sauce and crust have no flavor while the topping selection is meager and not seemingly fresh. I paid extra for their signature selection as well and tasted nothing compared to their description. I swear I can't stop through Dulles without coming here. I hope the chain expands (to Denver?) because they do a great job. I ordered the Farmer's Daughter (as I always do). All of their pizzas are on a flatbread style crust, and loaded with toppings. The Farmer's Daughter is breakfast styled with spinach, egg, sausage, and some hot sauce. It was great as it always is, and I look forward to my next connection in the NE so I can enjoy one again! read more

This is some of the best airport food I have had...I can definitely see why it is such a popular local chain. We were between going here and going to Bar Symon and I feel like this was the right choice. We ordered the moonstruck and the farmer's daughter. Both were very tasty. I also have to say that I was very impressed that they scramble eggs to order for the pizzas. Service was fine...typical airport service except marginally better. We will definitely stop by again if we ever fly through Dulles. read more

A great local DC chain pizza eatery here at IAD. It's a nice, open, sunny space. Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager on tap. Outlets for your devices at the bar, so that's convenient. It's a make-your-own pizza joint and the pies are pretty tasty-you are the captain of your ship here, mateyes, so you choose and you win. Draft beer in 16 or 20 oz pours. Communal tables, high-boys, and plenty o' space at the bar. read more

I felt like pizza and went to the place but then when I looked at it it looked like a flatbread pizza and so I moved on. After walking through the terminal and reading reviews about the other places to eat and then reading reviews about this pizza place I decided to go back and give it a try... And boy am I glad I did. First while it looks like a flatbread pizza crust was actually very good and not too crispy at all. Everything other people have said is true as the toppings were fresh and plentiful and it was definitely quick. But it was hot, fresh, and very tasty. The only obnoxious thing is the box but I can live with that. As far as I'm concerned this place was priced right and tasted awesome and I would be glad to come back to this. read more

Never thought I would say this: "The best pizza I ever had came from this airport location. In DC of all places."

I was so surprised when we rounded the corner in the D Terminal, just past gate 5 and saw the & Pizza logo. Last week I was at DCA, Terminal C, and had another awesome pizza. This location is much bigger and they have a bar and 6 or so tables. It is bright and very clean. The staff is warm, friendly and very professional. I created my own pizza and started with a whole wheat crust. You have the option of white or wheat. There are several sauces and many toppings to pick from. They bake the pizza, right in front of you, in under 5 mins, ask you if you'd like any other toppings and away you go. The thin crispy crust is amazing. Today, I had half plain (for my 5 year old) and half marinated mushrooms and caramelized onions. It was topped with fresh cherry tomatoes and parm, after it was baked. I told my daughter it would be the best pizza she ever had and after one bite she agreed. Keep up the great work. We'll see you soon when we head out for another exciting adventure! read more
