It's a small place and I think it's because it's for pick-up only. We decided not to do pick up and sit inside instead. They have a couple of tables inside and outside. The service was relatively quick and fast! We didn't have to wait too long and we only had an hour; and within that hour our pizza was ordered, ready, and our plates were empty. We ordered - Neapolitan Margherita 5/5 - I'm not sure if it was because we had trash pizza the night before so our expectations were low or because it really is THAT good. We stopped by for some custom wood fired pizza's on the evening of July 4th - it's a family tradition for us and we generally go to fireworks pizza but this time we decided to go to a new place. There is ample parking in front of the store as well as the other side of the road of the store. There isn't a whole lot of sitting space inside the store but enough for small parties. Basically you order the pizza at the cash register, you pay for it, and then you go sit on your table and they deliver it to you. We ordered a salad, and two pizzas - one vegan and one regular and the regular pizza came out pretty quick and was tasted pretty good but the vegan pizza was flavorless - Maybe a contributing factor is a fact that they don't have vegan cheese so basically it's just cauliflower bread with some pizza tomato sauce and veggies. One last thing I would like to mention is that the wireless phone signal for whatever reason here does not work inside the store - net net not a bad experience, but I don't think we will be coming back anytime soon. read more

Via YELP Delivery: Don's Pizza was exceptional as far as we could taste, BUT Yelp Delivery did its best to RUIN the wonderful meals of a customized pizza and a customized calzone. We received our order stone cold, even though we kept a watchful eye via our RING doorbell camera. We included instructions to "ring our doorbell". **Another Visit to The Dons -- Still Coming Back (Even With a Few Detours)** Stopped into The Dons around 7pm last night and wow -- they were absolutely slammed. That's usually a good sign, so I rolled with it. I ordered a slice of the *Fat & Skinny Pepperoni* topped with fresh parmesan and basil to hold me over while waiting for a medium pizza of the same, plus a salad. Tipped the cashier in cash (because good pizza karma matters) and settled in. And waited. And waited some more. Eventually my pizza came out, and the staff apologized that my waiting slice never made it to me and instead got boxed up with the medium. No worries -- stuff happens. I headed home happy. Until I realized... no salad. Cue the reluctant round-trip back. To their credit, as soon as they saw me, they handed me the salad immediately. Back home I went again, officially *very* ready to eat. The slice? Fantastic. Exactly why I like this place. Then I opened the medium pizza box... and yeah -- this one missed the mark. No big pepperoni slices, very little cheese, and it looked like it was assembled in a hurry (which, to be fair, it was a crazy night). So yes -- trip number three back to The Dons, pizza in hand (minus one investigative bite to confirm the cheese situation). Here's where it matters: the lead guy running the crew listened, got it immediately, and remade the pizza perfectly. Fresh, well-built, generous toppings -- exactly how it should be. Hats off to him. A friend of mine brought me here in early 2026, and I liked it so much that we started our first car club drive (18 Mazda Sports Cars with a lunch here. The meatballs and sausage were actual good ingredients which made the pizza so flavorful. The crust was thinner like that of an Italian style pizza. It wasn't too thick or thin. It tasted amazing. Hands down my favorite pizza. The service was quick. They cook the pizzas in a brick oven and it only took about 5 mins or so for us to get ours. We ordered a Caesar salad and two pizzas (one white and one red). The Caesar salad was great, however, little on the oily side. The white pizza was great. Good flavors from the cheeses. The margheritta pizza was alright but I've had better . The sauce was on the acidic side and the cheese was not tasty. Tasted old and not fresh. No way does it compare to traditional margarita pizza. Service was good. Pizza came quick and server was pleasant. One of the staff was off putting with unfriendly attitude. When I asked for a refill her face reacted like I had punched her in the gut.
