    Pot Pie
    Jason H.

This was delicious. Hot fresh food and quick service. Honestly and surprisingly one of the best dining experiences at any airport coast to coast. Yes the place is packed with bags and chairs everywhere but that's why I bumped it to 4 stars - in spite of that mess the service and food was top notch. This maple pot pie is pure heaven and perfection in a sweet flaky hot delicious dish.

Could earn 3 stars if the food was temperature hot. It was warm but I expect more. Taste was fine, ambiance is quite nice, actually. Service was a bit intrusive. Another overpriced airport restaurant when nothing else is available. We ordered the Mumbo Wings and the French Dip to share.

Decent restaurant at Dulles with prompt service. The only complaint is the tables are a bit tight so the person next to me knocked over the glass candle which broke but the restaurant just cleaned up and was hekpf

Airport food is always overpriced, and this $16 house salad (one of the only possible vegan options) was no exception. My server was very nice and efficient, but overall the place was super busy and difficult to maneuver.

I was headed home after a difficult trip. Gatsby provided just the solace I needed with elevated cocktails, delicious food, and comfy seating. My pot pie featured flaky puff pastry, creamy filling, and generous chunks of chicken. The light touch of lavender, mostly on the crust, provided a nice floral note that cut the richness of the dish. I usually never finish a meal of this size, but there wasn't a crumb remaining! Alhed provided capable and personable service that made me smile. I don't know why you'd dine anyplace else at Dulles.

The best spot in IAD if you have some time to kill at the airport. Great food, excellent cocktails, and 20's jazz lounge atmosphere, Gatsby is a def. Between terminal D and C (quiet part of the airport) greeted by our server "Ahed" with a huge smile and great attitude. Ahed was optimistic and brought a smile to everyone's vibe. He took the time to run down the menu like a pro. If you like a feel good gin cocktail def recommend "Bee's Knees". Gatsby is a win.

The only downside was that the music was a little louder than I prefer, making conversation slightly difficult at times. Our waitress was incredibly personable and friendly, and she made us feel very welcome. Service was a bit slow, but it appeared she was the only server working that day, so it was understandable. The food more than made up for the wait. The biscuits were absolutely fantastic. The spring salad was one of the best salads I've had in a long time. The grilled chicken on top was seasoned beautifully and cooked perfectly, juicy and tender without being overdone. I'd definitely come back for the food and the welcoming service. Hopefully they'll have a little more staff next time, but it was still a very enjoyable meal.

She did a phenomenal job overseeing our whole group by herself. The food was good. I love a good southern comfort meal. But I'd be lying that I wasn't a little disappointed they didn't have chicken and waffles. They do have chicken and biscuits which looked good. But I was craving that delicious crispy meat over a savory waffle. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. Not a single person complained. If anything, they said how much food they got! When in the area again, will take a stop here to enjoy their food again!

I wish we had a Joe's in Reno, but I would end up weighing 300 pounds! First of all, thanks to Helen and the incredibly helpful and friendly staff for enhancing the experience and making my breakfast just that much better. Just walking in you knew you would be leaving full, content and happy (and ready for a mid morning nap)! The food was exactly what I was hoping for and actually expected. My buddy Mike had a Denver Omelette with Hash Browns and Rye Toast and I had a Cheddar Cheese, Mushroom and Bacon Omelette, also with Rye. I also got a side of Sausage Gravy for my Crispy Browns. Pure yummalishous! We all have our favorite "type" of Omelette and this was mine. Thin, not fluffy eggs, LOTS of fixins' and gooey melted cheese. I forgot we also got a side of pancakes and some scrapple! Yes, we literally pigged out! Cant wait to say hi to the crew next month when I return... and enjoy another great meal! Cheers, JimG

If a place consistently delivers tasty food, solid execution, and keeps you wanting to come back, that earns a top rating from me. Ted's Bulletin absolutely does that. We have been to the One Loudoun location several times for breakfast, and it is consistently a great experience. That kind of consistency matters, especially for breakfast service where some places can be hit or miss. One of our favorites has been the huevos rancheros. They serve it on tostadas, which gives the dish a great crispy base and a really satisfying texture. It is flavorful, hearty, and always hits the spot. We have also had their homemade tater tots, and they are excellent. Nicely fried, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and clearly done with care rather than feeling like an afterthought side dish. Their French toast is another strong option and always enjoyable. If you are in the mood for something sweeter, it is a very solid choice. We have also tried the breakfast cinnamon roll. It is definitely generous in size. It is decent and worth trying, but it can be a lot, which is probably why we only order it occasionally. For the kids, the hot chocolate is always a favorite and something they genuinely look forward to each visit. Overall, Ted's Bulletin continues to deliver tasty breakfast food, dependable quality, and a family friendly experience that keeps us coming back. Easy 5 stars from me.

I went with the club sandwich--perfectly fine, but about as memorable as a meeting that could've been an email. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing that would ever bring me back for round two. The fries, on the other hand, showed up crispy and confident... easily the highlight of the plate. There are plenty of solid lunch options in the area, and in hindsight, I probably should've explored one of them instead. I did spot a grilled cheese that looked great walking by--but let's be honest, grilled cheese always looks like it has its life together. It wasn't crowded, service was fine, and nothing was outright bad--it just didn't deliver the kind of experience I've come to expect from Ted's. If I return, it'll be for breakfast, where they seem to know exactly what they're doing.

I loved the rice and the baked beans. The mac and cheese was pretty good but could've used a little more salt. The chopped pork was tender, but it was a little dry for me. --Pork Spare Rib Plate - 4/5: I got the furikake-seasoned rice, honey mustard potato salad, and coleslaw. The potato salad and coleslaw were just okay, but the spare ribs were so good--super tender and falling right off the bone!! --Just Chili (bowl): Topped with cheese and onions.
