It's been a week but I wanted to go ahead and make time to do this review. First of all they were late and didn't even call. I work overnights so I didn't have to get up and get ready for them if they weren't going to be on time or even show up. I wasn't happy that I felt like my home was disrespected when he walked through with his dirty tennis shoes instead of putting on booties I don't know what he could have stepped on out there there's many cats etc. out there roaming around my cat's drag (dead) mice in the yard sometimes. Also one of my main reasons for calling and having my air conditioning checked is that I know that I needed air conditioning fluid in it. He stated that he wouldn't do it he said it wouldn't make any difference cuz my air conditioner is old, that doesn't make any sense to have it or not to have it does make a difference on the air conditioner. My air conditioner may be old but it runs very cold in the house so I wasn't looking forward to being stuck on the phone with his boss explaining myself to him to understand that I'm not going to put money into a new air conditioner when the old one is still working or my budget or reasons, not interested @ this time means no. I did end up calling another company and they took care of it for me I also have home warranty so if anything does go wrong with my air conditioner is paid for. read more

It has been nothing but a headache dealing with this company. I've spent well over 20 grand and AC unit does not cool like my old unit. Trying to get someone to do General cleaning and maintenance has been a joke. 2nd time they did not show up at all. 3rd guy was hours late. Then tried to upsell me on a product. Then here the unit went out. Was not cooling and giving me an error message. I called it in they wanted to charge me a service call for something that has a 10 year warranty. Finally when guy pulled up my information said not service will be added and someone from service will call you. I waited for 2 hours still no call. Ended up fixing the problem. Edit... ours system is now not working correctly, it runs for maybe 15-20 minutes then shuts off for maybe 20. It did not do this before they did the work they were hired to do. All they had to do clean drain line and run new coolant line and recharge. This is the mess they left my mothers house where I also reside. They sprayed acid everywhere. Paint is peeling on the unit, I am assuming the exterior house paint will also peeling when I try to pressure wash and clean their mess. They even killed the grass around the unit. After calling them at 8:30 on a rainy Monday morning I had a great conversation with the dispatcher and told him to send a rookie since it was an easy learning experience. They called once to advise of the delay of a couple of hours. Plumber showed up at 2:20 and was able to get the job completed and wrapped up with time for us to make sure that we made our other appointment. Jeff M. is a nice plumber and good with communication. He called them twice and asked for the required paid in full invoice and didn't receive it. I called and explained that the invoice needs to be marked paid in full in order for his insurance to be reinstated prior to the cancellation date of this Sunday 8/30. The manager said she sent it at 403pm but my client stated never received it. We asked for her to send it to me with the client/homeowner permission and she said it's against company policy to send a receipt to anyone else even with the Homeowners permission. They did not care that he was about to loose his insurance. I asked for them to resend it again while we were on the phone and her reply was "I can resend but I can not stay on the phone to make sure it goes through". AND Services came to do a free tuneup on my AC unit. I tried to sell me a cleaning of my hair handler, electronic filtration, and UV system and clean the evaporator and the coils all for $4032. It wasn't a year ago that I had UV system installed the evaporator clean, the coils cleaned, and the ductwork cleaned. Yes I do need electronic filtration however these morons forgot to install a circuit breaker back in so that my AC unit would run, I wouldn't let these guys work on a dog house let alone your house let that be a lesson. Bad customer service they try to pre-quote my father $15,000 for an air conditioning leak .. they were continuously pressuring my dad into taking money from the equity of his home in order to pay off these fees. I ended up contacting one of my old friends who is a HVAC mechanic himself. He came in and the total cost of the repair for the air conditioner problem that we were dealing with was $1,000 exactly. He informed me that he used to work for and services and told us that this company thrives on overcharging pressuring their customers into paying extra on things they don't need. They also offer huge discounts for current baited customers in exchange for a good review on their website. Our air conditioning shut down on 7/4 we contacted And1 and the service tech Jay (outstanding young man) was there promptly and gave us great information on our options. System was 13 years old and we decided a total replacement was better than a repair to our old unit. He still gave us 3 options depending on what we could afford. Our choice was made and explained in great detail just how the install would go and what they would be doing. Install team arrived next day with install taking 2 days as expected. Orelvis was the lead with Eric as helper, again terrific communication and great work can not say enough and them. We also used this company in 2018 for a whole house replumb that went great as well. Highly recommend in tampa! I needed an immediate service to check a leak in my bathroom ceiling. I was told by another company that I needed to call an hvac company. I did some research and reach out to AND services to see if they were able to do same day service. After requesting an appt online, they gave me a call in a timely manner to get this set up for same day. I even needed to request after 6 pm as I work over 1 1/2 hours away. They called multiple times to confirm my appt and let me know when my hvac tech was on the way. Brendan showed up in a timely manner, was super professional, explained everything thoroughly, and let me know what I absolutely needed to fix my leak. I call this company for a estimate to repair a Freon line that landscapers hit and got a pip hole on the line that led to Freon escape , when this guy Mathew show up the first thing he said was that I had to replace the whole unit because there was no way to soldered the line , so that my only choice was to invest on a new unit at 13k , then he change his mind when I told him I didn't have that kind of money and said well we can replace the whole Freon line thru the attic and will cost you $3750 , but insisted that that option could make my unit go bad in 2 -4 months . This company told my elderly mother who is on hospice that she needed $3k worth of work on her HVAC unit. I then called the company and was told that she had algae in her system because the unit was a high pressure system and she had low pressure ducts. When asked how to resolve the issue, I was told the best way to resolve it is to replace all of her ducts to the tune of $18,000. When I brought up the fact that AND had replaced her system 4 years ago and asked why they would install a system that was incompatible with her ducts, I was told that, if the unit wasn't working they could not know what size ducts she had. He had no response when I pointed out that they could have checked the old system. We had a different company come out to get a second opinion and were told there was no algae in her system, and that there was no issue with the ducts being incompatible with the unit. From looking at the reviews and BBB complaints, it is clear that this company targets elderly people and sells them services that they do not need. In some reviews it appears that they may even sabotage equipment to get called back to up sell. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Signed a contract with this company about a year and a half ago. Part of that contract states that they would come out, twice a year, and do general maintenance for free. Never got any reminder service calls to schedule our regular maintenance. Three weeks ago our AC quit working on a 90 degree day. When the technician finally came out, it turned out it was simply a drain pan that was full. 15 minute fix and they charged us $425 for something that never would've happened if we would've had the maintenance calls that were part of having a contract with them. In addition, they have now canceled two appointments in two weeks to get the rest of that regular maintenance done citing that they were too busy. On January 16, 2026, at approximately 4:50 p.m., my newly licensed 16-year-old son was driving me and my youngest child home from school. The weather was clear, and we were stopped at the intersection of Lithia Pinecrest Road and Brooker Road with a green light, waiting for traffic to clear so we could safely complete a left turn. This is an extremely busy intersection without a dedicated green arrow, and my son--still gaining confidence behind the wheel--was appropriately waiting until he felt it was safe to proceed. One of your drivers pulled up behind us and immediately began behaving in an extremely aggressive manner by repeatedly sounding the horn. Despite the pressure, I instructed my son to remain calm and only turn when he felt it was safe to do so. The driver continued leaning on the horn until my son finally completed the turn. After turning left onto Brooker Road and traveling east, we approached the next intersection at the 1700 block of Brooker Road and S. Valrico Road, which is controlled by a stop sign and is also heavily traveled. When your driver pulled up behind us again, he resumed sounding the horn as if attempting to rush us through the intersection. Once again, I reassured my son to proceed only when he felt comfortable. We continued straight across onto Summit View Lane, which winds around to Laurel Oak Drive and ultimately to another stop sign at S. Miller Road. Your driver followed us the entire way and maintained the same aggressive behavior throughout.  My son made a left turn onto S. Miller Road while your driver turned right onto S. Miller Road.  At that point, I had reached my limit and immediately called the first 800 number I could locate for your company. At approximately 5:05 p.m., I called 888-990-2079 and spoke with a representative. I clearly described the incident and expressed my concern and frustration. The representative was understanding, and I specifically requested a return call from someone in a supervisory position; however, I have yet to receive that courtesy. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain the vehicle or tag number. The only identifying detail I can provide is that the driver appeared to be Hispanic. I would greatly appreciate an acknowledgment of this complaint and information regarding any steps your company will take to investigate this matter. Given today's environment, your driver's actions were completely unacceptable and created an unsafe and distressing situation for a new driver and my family. I had a serious leak in bathroom sink. I am 79 yrs old and know nothing about cost of plumbing or who to call so went online and found AND Services which seemed to have good reviews. AND came and said I needed a new faucet and quoted me a price over a $1000. I said my only income was social security and he told me I would save money if I bought the new faucet myself which I did and still paid over $600 which I had to pay by credit. Later I realized they originally were charging me over $400 for the faucet which I got myself for under $40. When it was too late after the fact, different people told me that was ridiculous and I shouldn't have paid anywhere near that amount. I have since found out a faucet is easy to replace and $50-$100 would have been reasonable for labor. So I definitely will not be recommending this company as I feel I was taken advantage of because of my age and lack of knowledge with plumbing. read more

I have been using this company for eight years!! They came out to do a routine service our air conditioner. They said we needed a capacitor. Even though it was working fine! So we went ahead and replaced it so we wouldn't have any future problems since it's so hot here in Florida!! they charged us $475 for a $20 capacitor! Then the very next day, our air conditioner stops working completely they come back out said we needed a transformer and wanted another 200 so we said no we will replace it ourselves!! told us that we need to top off Freon told us $40 a pound then after he puts it in, he changes it to $200 a pound!! so now I'm beginning to wonder if we wasn't getting ripped off the whole entire eight years that we've been using this company. Scam! They totally tried to scam me. They did not fix the issue. I was scared and nervous with a guy in my house that would not leave unless I paid him. I still had a backed up tub and had to call another plumber. Do not fall for false promises or an add that says GUARENTEED to fix your drain for $79....not only was it not fixed he charged me over $300 then gave me quotes to fix things that did not need fixing for costs of over $12,000.....all for a clogged tub. I bought a brand new system from AND Services about 2 years ago. It was a complete shit show. There new unit made it a week. Then after having a complete fit. They came out and replaced the unit. Then they realized the unit they put in was too big for the existing duct work, so they replaced all the intakes. Doesn't sound so bad, right? If it were not from the saving grace of there district manager John, I would have already taken them to court. But now, every single time they come out to do there bi annual maintenance check, I get told how something else was overlooked and how I have to have work done as soon as possible. Each trying to charge me $2k-$3k every time. Hell, Im still paying for the AC unit, and they want to add $2000 This is rediculous! If they had installed the right size unit for the home and made sure that all intakes and duct work was done, the maintenance should be easy and used to just keep the unit clean. But the salesman/maintenance people come out, try very high pressure sales, and make you feel like the system is going to die the day after the warranty expires. He runs a nasty camera down my drain and says my pipes were at the wrong angle and he can't fix it. He then says he can pressure clean it for $2400. I told him to get lost. had a brand new unit installed in May 2025, shortly after it stopped working, was without air for 5 days or more, first no one could come out then when they did they tried and thought they fixed it but said if it happened again there was a part that had to be replaced, a valve. One month goes by and the unit stops working again, same problem the air handler is freezing up, called again had to wait for someone to be able to come out, i mentioned what previous tech said about the valve and they said yes they knew bring a new one. Tech came defrosted the unit and replaced the valve, and refilled the tank with freon but we just discovered the wrong type of freon was used, as the unit has frozen again about 30 days after last repair. Tech came out but could not do anything until unit had defrosted, that was yesterday 9-9-25, so i was told a tech would come out today 9-10-25 first call of the morning, that was not the case i became the second call between 9-10am, no one shows up i call and i'm switched to between 10-12, its now 12:15, called again, tech is running late now between 2-4, in the meantime i had to cancel two doctors appts that i had already rescheduled due to a/c problem. Hopefully the tech will show up but again i don't think it's a quick fix, as previous tech said there is a leak somewhere and it has to be found, then freon has to be replaced with the correct type. I only had yesterday and today to solve this continuing problem but i doubt it will be resolved today. This company is great at talking, but not at solving, also there guarantee that they will pay for a hotel if no a/c within 24hours never materializes as they come to you but can't fix problem, but since they came that takes care of guarantee. this is the 3rd time the unit has stopped again i bought the unit in MAY 2025 read more

Contractor license number are as follows. Hvac CAC1816819, Plumbing CFC1428695, Electrical EC13001480 Please go to BBB and see all the complaints, you will be shocked. (And Services) came out to our home on 10/24/25 to do a routine maintenance on our A/C unit. The guy's name, I believe, was Kenny. He evaluated our system outside and supposedly did maintenance on our handler inside. Came into the house from the outside unit. He tells us that we need a new capacitor, and the contact points were burnt on the start switch. Here is what the guy said about the Capacitor: "Should be at 45 and your unit is only 38". My husband looked at the contact points, and nothing appeared burnt. Also, the Capacitor will swell as it gets bad. That was not the case. Two problems $450 each. Mind you, my husband can change both items, but we were leaving soon and didn't have time to get the parts, which are very cheap on Amazon. There was nothing going on with our AC so we never suspected a problem; it was just maintenance. The price was very expensive $900 total. Called another company and asked for their pricing, and the price for the Capacitor from them was $222.00, including service install. We told (And services) NO to the work. The gentleman Kenny left without a signature from us or leaving us any paperwork at all. The paper that he wrote on and evaluated the system was not left like every AC company will do!! (obvious scam when they do this) On Wednesday, the following week, another company, the one I called prior, (Service First AC company) came out. A gentleman named Daniel came out to evaluate our outside system. He checked both items, and there was nothing at all wrong with our outside unit! He checked for a problem with the capacitor. He had us turn the system on, and the contact points worked great. He found nothing wrong with the unit period! Honest company in (Service First Heating Air and Plumbing). Highly recommend them! As you can read from the many complaints about this company (AND SERVICES), they are a money-grabbing, SCAMMING Company. I had a pin hole leak in the exterior water line for my tankless water heater, the pipe was exposed running along the baseboard on the garage floor. They quoted a price of 998.00 for the repair, I told him that was outrageous quote and forget it. He then lowered the quote to 400.00 which I still considered high but it was also an after hours call 6PM. The repair took 5 minutes to cut the PEX tubing and apply an a coupler. For an Hour he sat in his truck pricing out all kinds of repairs my plumbing system needed trying to sell replacing all the plumbing. All this was done without inspecting any of the homes plumbing which was fine and had not had any trouble with. The Plummer came off as nice by dropping the price but they are not reputable at all. This company seems far more focused on sales and upselling than objective diagnosis. Very disappointing experience. I contacted this company because an appliance technician claimed my washing machine issue was related to low water pressure/plumbing. The plumbers replaced the washer box, valves, cut into drywall, and performed approximately $1,200 worth of plumbing work.The problem is that no one ever properly documented or measured PSI before recommending the repairs. I later learned my washing machine only required a minimum PSI of 20, and after replacing the washer with a brand-new machine, it completed cycles successfully.This strongly suggests the original problem was the aging washing machine itself, not the plumbing system.While the plumbers did improve water flow and completed the physical work, I do not believe the expensive plumbing work was truly necessary to solve the actual issue I originally called about.As a customer, I felt there was too much assumption and not enough objective diagnosis before major work was recommended and approved. I hope future customers receive more thorough testing and clearer explanation before being sold costly plumbing repairs tied to appliance-related problems. read more

Don't ever use this company, they didn't properly install the new ac system and had to send other people out to pick up the trash left behind by the first guys and properly secure the ducting that wasn't properly installed initially. They also put a hole in my ceiling and promised to have it fixed and they of course didn't. They relocated my AC return in my house but left the old one there with promises to take it out and patch it up, which wasn't done but they say the work is done now. Their scheduler is even worse, will schedule one day and then call to reschedule the day before. Basically they will not do what they say they will, they will damage your property and not fix it, and charge you like they provide white glove services.
