Apparently I had a misunderstanding as to what Andale Andale meant by "salsa" when I read the menu board. I understood salsa to be the various varieties of hot sauce that are offered (and are quite good). Apparently, their salsa is a pineapple-based concoction that they make themselves. The tortillas were just fine on my most recent visit as well. The chorizo and al pastor were both very flavorful and well complemented by the cilantro, onion, and lime. I didn't expect to find the best Mexican food in Iowa in the mall! All of their options are great, but we particularly love the street tacos. Try all the meat options to find your favorite -- the pricing is so reasonable that you can try a bunch of different options! This is also easily the best horchata we've had in Iowa. Dismissing it as a lesser option at Coral Ridge Mall. It literally took the pandemic for me to give it a try. I am ashamed it took my six year old making threats one Saturday afternoon that she needed a quesadilla, rice and beans-- OR ELSE-- for me to try this joint. Geesh. Well, I hopped on my computer to see what exactly delivered Mexican... the choices were slim. But for $12 we got a full quesadilla, rice, beans, chips/salsa and a hefty tip. The quesadilla could be one of the best no frills options in the area. The tortilla was definitely made fresh and a snagged a few more bites than I should have. The rice and beans got the approval of my daughter. Last, the salsa was LEGIT. I may be stopping by just to get salsa to-go in the not so distant future. Kid tested, mother approved. For lunch, all the other locations had lines, this place didn't so I thought I'd check it out. Diamond in the ruff for sure! I anticipated it being awful since no one else was there, but it was fantastic! Everything was fresh, fast and delicious! I ordered the taco salad. The only thing I'd maybe change is the plate was a flimsy styrofoam plate, so a busy mom juggling multiple plates could get dangerous lol. I can't say enough good things about this place. I got a street taco with carne aside and a gringo taco with shredded chicken and my friend got the pastor street taco. We also got the chips and queso. This is some of the best meat I've had from any Mexican place I have tried - super flavorful and juicy. Same goes for the queso and salsas - they're almost unbeatable. Everything here was amazing including the customer service. Good food for quick food court Mexican food. Not a lot of choices, but it is authentic Mexican food.

Al pastor tacos are my favorite, so I was thrilled to see a restaurant that makes legitimate street tacos as an option in the mall food court. While the flavors for al pastor tacos were pretty good, the carne asada tacos were a bit more to my liking during this trip. The asada flavor popped and the meat didn't seem as tough or large as the pastor. The tortillas were tasty, too, but they were a bit dry around the edges, leading to some dry, unsavory bites. I was disappointed in the chips and queso. It was a white queso that resembled a soup in consistency. It was a pretty standard white queso flavor, but the consistency was off-putting. The cheese ran off the chips easily, making it hard to eat. Overall, I will definitely stop by again when I need a taco fix while shopping, but I will avoid the queso moving forward. read more

I was blown away by the food here. I would have never expected that a mall food court could have food this good. I tried multiple of the street tacos and the flavor of each of the different meats I had (chorizo, steak, and chicken) was phenomenal. Also their homemade sauce that is on the tacos is superb. Located inside the Coral Ridge Mall food court, Andale Andale (pronounced as the quick phrase uttered by the Mexican mouse Speedy Gonzales from Looney Tunes), is a wonderfully authentic Mexican eatery. The street tacos and tortas are flavorful and well made. If you only like Tex-Mex style food (Taco Bell), this place will be quite different. The food isn't covered with cheese and lettuce and diced tomatoes. The tacos will feature soft corn tortillas filled abundantly with seasoned chicken, beef, or pork and topped with diced onion and cilantro (you can request they leave off either topping). I love the spice found with the pastor and chorizo. Tortas are my absolute favorite Mexican fare. This place does not disappoint. The bread is tasty but doesn't drown the flavors of the filling, which include a protein, a few veggies, and jalapeños. Prices are very reasonable, and if you have a friend or relative to share with, I highly recommend getting a variety of street tacos and tortas with various fillings so you can mix and match and decide on what flavored meat you like the most. The tortas come sliced in half so that helps with sharing. I highly recommend this place! read more

Solid option within the mall if you're craving tacos. Not the most amazing street tacos I've ever had but I would eat here again. The tacos were a little larger than I'm used to but no complaints there. They also do burritos, tortas, and bowls, all of which are customizable. I frequent the mall and as a mom I find my self eating food court food with the kiddos about once a week. My mom ate here earlier in the week and offered me a bite of her meat/dairy free bowl and it was delicious. She added guacamole and it was great. So later in the week I decided to try it for myself as I've had enough Chick-fil-a for awhile. I got a bowl as well but with the shredded chicken and I added guacamole for $1. It was really delicious. I liked the smokiness of the chicken- it wasn't your typical plain chicken relying on the condiments to make it taste good. I ended up just stirring everything together and it was awesome. The serving was plentiful- I ate more than I should've but still had enough leftover for a snack later that day. Surprisingly good. I'm from the Southwest and while nothing really compares to Mexican food out there, the tacos I had were tasty. I had one beef and one chicken street taco. Each had a respective sauce one red and one green Both tasty but I preferred the green chile. I had Jamaica to drink. The staff was kind enough to offer a sample before I ordered it.
