Kebabs to go! We happened to come upon it one night, and the food is so good! The portions are huge, they have a good variety. I had the falafel plate but the meat dishes you will have to wait a bit for those depending on how busy they are. They have a small seating area, personally, I've only taken food to go, so i cannot comment on it! I'd definitely go back and I have since first trying it! I wish I had a photo! Food is 4/5 stars. Great tasting but meat portion was very lacking. The lamb plate with rice and chickpeas came with (4) chunks of lamb that were larger than bite-sized but barely a mouthful. This is one of my favorite Kebab place in DFW. The food is always fresh and delicious. I've never been there and not crowded with people which is a testament to the quality and the flavor of their food. I love their lamb meat, and will always stop by whenever I'm in the area. I ordered food to be delivered. When it arrived the food was cold and the lamb tasted like it had been cooked a week ago. They also only delivered PART of the order. When I called to get the rest of my order delivered, the person that answered the phone refused and said that I could talk to the manager, then hung up on me. That's just totally rude. What makes it even worse is the fact that it was the second time in a row that they shorted me on my order and didn't deliver all of my order that I had already paid for. If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would. Kababs to Go is hands down the best kabab spot I've ever been to. The food is out of this world -- the kababs were literally the juiciest, most flavorful I've ever had. Every bite was perfection. And those sauces? Insane. They added such an incredible touch to an already amazing dish. Don't even get me started on the potato side -- it was absolutely immaculate. On top of the food being phenomenal, the service was just as impressive. The owner is the sweetest, most hospitable man ever. He brought us tea and dessert on the house, constantly checked in to make sure we were happy, and made us feel so welcomed. The workers were also so friendly and happy -- you don't see that often, and it made the experience even better. I've had Kababs to Go several times when visiting Dallas, but the Irving location is on another level. Everything about this place is immaculate. This is a reliable spot that is open late. 2am close time? Can't beat that! A perfect late night meal. Skip the fast food lines. I've been here multiple times & the food ALWAYS hits! So flavorful! Usually I don't have a issue here, the food was good as always. But today the customer was at a all Time Low! I ordered the Salmon plate which has never been a 30 minute process. Long story short there was a man that came in 12 min after me after waiting 30 min we got our food at the same time. How did that happpen you ask? Lets Roll the Clip........A lady came in to get a pick up order and it was one Salmon plate short. I watch him go to the grill and give her my order. After she left I asked how much longer for my food. This was his opportunity to say he made a mistake, discount my food or at least apologize and let me know what's going on. If I was not already starving I would have just got my money and left. We all make mistake, that's fine. But just correct your mistake. I don't Play about my time and I don't like to be treated like a fool. This is a one off, hopefully it won't happen again. But needless to say I won't be going back to this location. read more

We come up to Irving for a Health Coaching convention once a year. This is our go to place for grilled options and maximum flavor. Alright I will rate what I got, and my gyro plate was 10/10! I got the gyro with white rice and chickpeas, and told him to make it spicy. First of all, DO NOT SKIP ON ADDING CHICKPEAS! It's probably the best side they have. The gyro itself was juicy, flavorful, and fresh. Service was very quick and friendly, and this was at 11 pm so it stands for something! Stopped in on a hungry whim while cruising down Belt Line. I ended up ordering the beef kebab plate with brown rice and spinach. I passed on the dill yogurt sauce, but the spicy red sauce and tangy green sauce they topped it with added so much wonderful flavor to my meal! The staff was really nice and the atmosphere was welcoming and well-lit. I decided to go ahead and dine in and enjoy without a rush. To my surprise, they close at 11 p.m...wow! It's hard to find healthy grub late at night, so that was so good to know since they're close to home. I noticed they had a lot of regulars coming in and out, which is also good to know. This place exceeded my expectations. It is tucked in a strip mall next to the Bank of America, in the Kroger shopping center. It is just a little place with like four tables, but what they are doing, they are doing well. You order at the counter. The menu just runs down their list of proteins, and you choose how you want it. You can get just the kebab, a wrap, plate or salad. They also have sides, but I chose just to get the salmon wrap. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and asked me about veggies and sauces. I opted for the sauces on the side, as they don't have a description of what they are. I have a deep seeded hatred for all things mayo and did not care for the white sauce, glad I got it on the side. The red is their hot sauce though it doesn't pack much of a punch. I thought it tasted a bit like sweet chili sauce, just not as sweet. It was very tasty though and I enjoyed it on my wrap. The green is a cilantro sauce that can be polarising to some, but it just added a mild herbal flavor. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the veggies were fresh, and they put like a garlic yogurt sauce in it that was awesome. I have seen people complain about the portion size, but I thought it was generous. The wrap was filling and the salmon was definitely the star. I haven't been coming here as much as I used too but I feel like this place has changed a lot recently. The food still tastes good for the most part but I feel like the customer service part has gone down tremendously. I came today with my wife and I asked for extra sauce on the bottom of the plate and the top and the girl taking my order said that's too complicated to do for the girl making the plates. I then asked the girl who was making the plates to let me know before she puts on sauce so I could tell her how much and she looked like she agreed and then 5 mins later tells me our food is ready to go. I was very confused as I remember telling her what I wanted and so then I tell the girl in the front I asked for extra sauce and she said she did it and when I open my plate, it wasn't even done. I then ask again for extra sauce and the girl makes a face like I am asking too much of her. I am not sure what's so complicated about putting some sauce on top and bottom of the rice but I just feel like they don't want to do anything they don't feel like doing. I paid for some extra sauce and the sauce was watered down of some sort. I really don't know what happened to this place but they could use some help with customer service. I felt very disrespected and like I was a bother to them for asking for what I want when I paid over $20 for a plate to not get what I want. I try to be as respectful as possible to people in the food industry as I know they already have a hard job with rude people but this by far was one of my worst experiences here. The workers seemed to enjoy talking to each other more than taking care of customer needs. I really hope this was a one off experience because if this is the new trend for this place, I won't be coming back. I am not going to spend over $20 dollars per plate to not get what I want and just be treated like I am wasting their time. I ordered 3 plates and comparing what it used to be to now, this just doesn't fee right. The food to me doesn't taste as good without a lot of sauce and that is why I ask for it. Eek. My husband and I stopped in here because it was the only place in the area that seemed to have gluten free (ish) options. When we walked in, we weren't greeted -- the employees were too busy having a conversation of some sort for quite a while. When the cashier acknowledged us, she seemed annoyed that we didn't know what everything on the menu was and had questions. In the end I ordered something that seemed simple enough, but my total for take out for one person was $20 . We then waited 15 minutes for our food -- not that it was difficult since most of it's on a line anyway, but they were back to talking and listening to music loudly and not worried about customers. At one point an employee yelled quite loudly several times for another customer to pick up their food. There was no professionalism whatsoever, but no charm either. My food was pretty awful. The meat was decent but chewy, and the rice tasted like dish soap. It all went in the trash can. If you're in the area and need to eat, drive a little further. read more
