The store has totally changed my views on locally owned shops. Prices are actually not higher than the mall (Nordstrom, Macy's, etc.), the staff are actually kind and helpful, and there is a cute dog hanging out and wagging its tail! I had a great experience getting a rare item in my size at a lower price than expected, with smiles and kindness through the end of the transaction. Mark Pasch is located in a strip mall in Bayside, so know what you're looking for. They sell high-end mens clothing, mostly suits but also some nice jeans/socks/ties. They are very expensive, but as the salesman said - you invest in your clothing. I approached with the simple alteration and was told it would be about 10 minutes if I chose to wait. I was hesitant as I was on the end of my lunch hour, but I agreed. The couple people that milled through were 65+ and smelled like money. The alteration unfortunately actually took about 25 minutes, and I was noticeably late to return to the office - HOWEVER she did a very nice job and a thorough reinforcement. If your wallet can handle it, this seems like a really nice shop.

I had not been…read moreproperly fit for running shoes in years and so I decided to drop in here while in town from Minneapolis last month. Tom helped me out and I really felt taken care of. Measured, put on a treadmill to see my steps and then recommended a larger size than I had ever bought. He told me I needed to accommodate the larger of my two feet more than my sizing had in the past. He brought out about 4 different pairs/brands and I tested them all out on the indoor track. Eventually we settled on a pair of Saucony. This was a brand I had never bought before and so I was hesitant. But I'm now a month into running with them and they're easily the best running shoes I've ever owned. Price was pretty standard at 150 or so but they're totally worth it. Will be back when visiting my family in Milwaukee. That's how much I loved the store.
