We've driven by this shop for years, always busy and so finally when we were way overdue to get our '22 Q3 in for a 6000 mile inspection, with other shops having really long lead times and the dealers of course wanting $$$$ for what's basically an oil change, I gave them a call. Got an appt within about 1 week. Great shop - friendly greeting inside, including from Willow the big Lab, and waited for my ride in a really comfy area while Willow enjoyed a butt rub. About $200.00 and that's fine, they used the correct Euro 0--20 oil and did a full inspection, that oil is pricey. No claims that it needed this or that, just good honest work and done on time. If you drive a Volvo, Mini, Audi, BMW or other foreign car, and you haven't heard of Andersen's Foreign Car Service then I guess you just moved to Colorado or you have been under a rock. I have been a customer of Andersen's for years, and they have worked on my many cars from Volvo to Mini, and each has received excellent service and care. Truly, no job is too small or too large, and the advice I have received from the certified technicians has been invaluable. Megan is great with customer service, and certified technician Karl Andersen and Jim have always done a wonderful job on my cars along with their team of technicians. I do not know any other shop I would trust to work on my car. read more

Found my new shop. Visited a couple times. Easy to navigate text/app to keep up with services and options. The employees have treated us with kindness while explaining what was going on. We got the "mechanic" and "layperson" versions haha. Prices are fair for the cars they work on, but the work is great for our audis. read more

Had an OK experience with these guys last year, but they took 2 separate days to complete a scheduled service on my Mercedes Benz GLC 300 because they didn't replace the spark plugs. Pricing wasn't all that competitive. Decided to give them another try. I've been taking cars here for about 35 years now. You may spend more, but you get what you pay for! Andersen's uses top quality parts. If you drive a BMW, you know that even the European oil it requires isn't cheap. If you want a well trained professional technician to work on your very valuable BMW, it will cost more than a backyard mechanic will charge. I rely on my car, so I need people who I can trust helping me keep it running. I'm getting ready to move out of state and when I realized I'm going to have to find new mechanics, it wasn't just with a shrug of the shoulders that I consider what I'm leaving behind. Trustworthy mechanics (I think) but very expensive. I really wanted to give a small business the service but with their charges, I can't afford it. They did repairs on my car after getting a quote from BMW being very high, and at first I thought it was reasonably priced but the last two times I went in I had easy work done and the labor charges were about 100/hr - a bit high for the easy stuff like changing a light or rotating tires. Also the last time I was there hurt too because I wasn't expecting an oil change to cost $170!! I almost cried. BMW gives the coupons for an oil change and 21 point inspection for $90! I feel like they don't want me to return after that kinda charge! It doesn't even seem ethical. I hate to say it but I guess i should've just gone to the dealership the last couple of times and saved some of my hard earned cash. read more

Had my 2012 BMW 650I CONVERTIBLE Serviced for a simple coolant flush. The engine had 11k miles, it was replaced under a recall. A BMW Dealership recommended a coolant flush, which I deemed wasn't needed to be done by a BMW authorized shop. I waited over 5 hours before the technician told me he couldn't get the air bubbles out of the lines on an engine that has 11k miles on it. They perform work on Cars that are pre owned from Auto Nation Jeep and Subaru across the street, and they informed they do great work. Had to leav my car overnight and Uber back to my residence at a cost of $60. They were promising me a callback before the end of the day, which I never received. Terrible customer relations, rude employees, and inexperienced foreign technicians. I was told that this repair was to take 1.5 hours, and waited 5 hours for the technician to tell me I had to wait until the following day. Terrible communication, I wouldn't recommend this establishment EVER. I would rather have a monkey perform my work instead. Contacted my Attorney regarding this matter. read more

There guys are the bomb. They've managed to fix all sorts of problems with my Volvo, in addition to doing quick and thorough services and such. They're super friendly and trustworthy, which is vital in a car repair place. Whenever I have car issues, I bring Heimdall (my Volvo - it's the name of the Norse guardian god, and the Norse were from Sweeden, where Volvos are made, so it all fits) to Andersen's and they get it taken care of. As a note, they also work on other brands of cars - it's actually Andersen's Foreign Car Service, so they work on Mercedes-Benz, VW, and BMWs as well, though they specialize in Volvos. read more

I used Andersen's for two years while I owned a Volkswagon. I found their prices fair. What I liked the most is how fairly and respectfully they treated me as a single woman. The owner personally called me to explain service needed and cost descriptions. I would still be going to them if I had kept my Volkwagon. read more

Took my car in with terrible rattling, they couldn't find it. Took it in for brakes shimmying, they said all was fine. This occurred several times when I finally went to another volvo shop. I had to replace rotors and pads all around. Sway bar links and tie rod ends were shot. Needed three motor mounts and a new gear for AWD. How, in all honesty, do you check a car and not find these things? Could have cost my family their lives. I'm so angry that I was dismissed so easily. Need I mention, I'm an older single woman. Will never go back to Andersons. read more

I've been taking my car to Anderson's for years and they always fix a problem that my Audi A6 has. They are friendly and somewhat reliable. My only complaint is they don't seem to wear masks while we're in a pandemic. But, they have nice staff and do a good job fixing my car. read more

They cannot do a lot of things on a Volvo, such as software updates. They often miss things. Not very responsive in followup, pricing, etc.. For Volvo, I have had better luck with McDonald on Broadway. read more

I have been taking my wifes 2006 VW Beetle to Anderson's for emissions the past 10 years and they have always been great. The past couple months we have been having some mechanical problems and other mechanics could never find the problems even charging hundreds to fix nothing the last place told us they thought they could fix it for around $1500 but not sure they could. I then decided to take it to Andersen's and that was the best ever. They took extra time to check out everything and they fixed everything it's running great and to my amazement the price was not much more than a good tune up. What a great team they have. We went to Andersen's because of fantastic Yelp reviews but we had a truly horrible experience. We took Andersen's our 2006 Volvo v50 for its 120,000 mile service which includes replacing the timing belt ($1040) and also for them to replace the front disc brakes ($434). Total bill $1,931. When the car came back we noticed it stuttering during uphill acceleration. We took it back to Andersen's and they said our constant velocity joints were bad even though the cover boots were not torn. This "diagnosis" didn't make sense to us so we took the car to another shop (about 500 miles after the initial Anderson's service) who told us the constant velocity joints were fine and instead replaced the front struts and A-frame bushings. That ended the vibration. The second shop also warned us that the front engine "cam" seals were leaking. They explained that those seals are located behind the timing belt and should have been replaced when the timing belt was replaced. The leaking oil is getting on the new timing belt and could soon ruin it. Worse if the oil leak caused the timing belt to fail then the engine would seize up and be ruined due to the valves hitting the pistons. We confirmed this diagnosis of leaking front oil seals at the Volvo dealer. To repair the front engine leaks required removing the timing belt mechanism all over again. In other words, completely redoing the shoddy work done by Andersen's at a cost of another $1,250 (base fee for the timing belt - new total bill with other failed parts discussed below came to over $2,000). We had this work done at the dealer because we did not trust Andersen's to do the work right. Update - the dealer discovered that the new water pump (located behind the timing belt) which Andersen's installed when they installed the timing belt was only hand tightened so the pump was loose and was leaking coolant. If the pump had fallen off it could have broken the timing belt and caused the engine to seize. Not only would that have destroyed the engine but it could have been very dangerous at highway speeds. The dealer also discovered that the cam hubs - which the timing belt goes around and drives - were worn & leaking so they needed to be replaced. Checking and replacing these hubs is a basic part of replacing the timing belt but Andersen's missed it. The dealer also found that the right side engine mount had collapsed. This mount is located right next to the timing belt and so why didn't Andersen's notice it when performing the 120,000 mile service? Straight shooters. They could have really ripped me like a dealership for my 780, but chose not to. Both the S70 and 780 go here. They know what they are doing. Just don't show up during the lunch hour! Nobody will be there..... Wish I had taken my 240 here a long time ago before selling it for pennies! They are used to a regular client base, so if you want to dicker about prices, you should probably say something ahead of time. read more

Have been going there for the past 12 years. They've worked on my A6, A8, two Beetles and a R32. If you need your timing belt done tonight, probably need to find elsewhere. They have always done great work and on the rare occasion when something needed correction, they made it right, without a complaint. They always tell me total news, never had a surprise. If you have a car you care about and want a long term relationship, as I do, then this is where you'll probably be happiest. read more

They might do a good job but their costomer service is atrocious. I dropped my car off Tuesday and they said they'd get to it probably Thursday but maybe Friday. I tried calling Thursday with no answer and twice Friday with no answer. The second time I called Friday my call clearly got forwarded because it rang for around 5 seconds only. Now I have to wait till Monday to even hear about if my car has been worked on. Unprofessional. read more
