Terrible service. Had called and made appointment for alignment on my 69 El Camino . . . but when I showed up they suddenly "don't know how" to work on an older model car. They wanted $180/hr with a 3 hr minimum to "give it a try". Went to Goodyear across the street--they were awesome! Those guys at Goodyear were glad for the business, the experience and reasonably priced without an appointment! This Big O was clueless! read more

There is so much room for improvement. I only have went here for convenience sake. No longer. Missing parts from 2 years ago during a tire change. Alignment was awful and they tried to fix and did a little better, but not much. Took it elsewhere. Then need another alignment and they botched it 2 more times. They forgot to rotate tires when it was on the list and I caught it. The alignment then loosened in all the joints of the control arms. Instead of fixing it they said there is nothing they can do for my truck. I'm a mechanic with a broken arm. So I needed help. I went home and did it all myself with one arm and tightened all the bolts. Even with new parts they said the bushings were worn out. They were installed 5 weeks ago, to Icon's. High end stuff. They still wouldn't just tighten the bolts. So my review...go elsewhere. They take no pride in their work. So sad these days. Even after multiple attempts. They need lessons in good business. read more

The only place that could get my tires that same day was Big O golden and Trevor organized getting them the same day (Saturday) and then even ended up going the extra mile to bring them up to the Frisco Big O. I had tried my usual service shop and they didn't have time for my tire. I tried Discount tire, but they were backed up and would have taken hours. So I stopped in at Big O this morning with my new tire in the trunk and my current tire with a screw embedded in it. Twice now I have had poor service and I will not return. The first time, they did not put all 4 of the tires taken off into the car and I had to return to retrieve it. The second time I specifically asked the front person to personally check to make sure all the tires were put in the car as well as the lock wrench. When the car was done, I inspected and the locking wrench was missing. The front person went to the service area and I could see her and the tech. looking for the wrench. So she had lied to me that she had checked it all out and not even an apology was given. Additionally, there was about 20 minutes where two technicians were talking, having lunch and not finishing my car. read more

Don't take chances, go to a real mechanic. I had my oil done and tires rotated last October of 2023. A few weeks later my tire almost fell off. I had to tow it to my mechanic and the tire wasn't secured properly and I had to buy new struts. Not only did the manager avoid calling me back after I let him know. . . he pretended to check into it and said he would get back to me. Well, after about 8 phone calls later no one EVER got back to me as promised. Not only did they not care they made a mistake they refused to even acknowledge that they made it. My tire almost fell off and thank goodness, I got home okay and that I got it towed so it didn't. That's the last service they will ever do for me. Mistakes happen, but to ignore me and avoid getting back to me is another. read more

I was shopping for new tires and wheels. The website said the store had the tires and wheels in stock and we were good to go for installation on my scheduled day off. They took a deposit of $100 since i ordered over the phone. They promised that my wheels and tires were ready to go. The day before installation, they called me and said they didnt have the wheels in stock and we couldnt get them installed on my original appointment. I live out in the mountains, and coming down into denver is not an easy task for me to get the free time, and i explained im currently on a spare tire that is not full size I drive far for work over passes and through high weather areas. They promised me things they could not deliver on and then they tried to upsell me (almost $1000 more than the original ticket) to be able to get it done in my time frame. This is a store that lied, tried to bait and switch, and then try to gouge me for money because I am in a time crunch. When they tried to offer the more expensive wheels they werent willing to discout to the original package price they had offered me. They claimed they were putting a discount on it but when i compared to another website, it was the exact same price they were offering claiming a discount. Im in sales and know many people who play the price gouging game. This doesnt surprise me that this store has a 3 star avg review and so many 1 stat reviews. This store should be re-staffed and im tempted to call the corporate office and speak to the highest person i can reach. I bought a set of all season tires from Big O a year ago, they were super helpful and got me set up all right. Not only was the team very nice but the tires are awesome. When I popped one, they replaced it quick and cheap! Now I get lots of maintenance done for free or cheap since I purchased my tires from them. Every time I go to make an appointment they always fit my schedule, are prompt and nice. Being a woman I feel like a lot of auto body places try and run me for everything I have, but these guys freaking rock. read more

Had a complete tire blow out on highway 93 while navigating the construction there. We managed to get to the shoulder and get the tire off where we found the hole that needed a plug. We called ahead here asking if we could get the tire in asap. They were pleasant on the phone and said they could for sure help. We got there and everyone was so amazing to deal with. Well Lana, not was long and winded! So eventually we ended up at Big O on Bowles. Where they said Big O Colfax sold us the wrong tires. That would be about $600 more for new tires for that Toyota. Kathy does a ride share for kids and wants her vehicle top notch. We agree to the new tires and when paying talk with Briant and he says Jeremy said Kathy wasn't happy with the tires we got from Colfax Big O and thats why we're going with paying more for brand new F'ing tires we just bought 4 months ago!! So as far as I can see all 3 Big 0 experiences seem to be Horrible and very Untrustworthy. Will never recommend Big O to anyone!! Big NO to Big O! I have only written 2 reviews in my life and hardly make a complaint ever, as I believe in giving the opportunity to make things right before resulting to a bad review. But I am writing this to inform others to NOT give your business to Big O Tires. After spending almost $1000 with them, I called them in regard to an alignment I had done and paid for through them. After just 4 months of giving them all of my business on maintenance for my car, my alignment is completely messed up. When I had it done originally, they had me wait an extra 2 hours after telling me that my car was ready, due to them "struggling with adjusting the alignment". When I called in to see if they could pull the reading measurements report, the guy on the phone claimed they do not keep those on file. We all know that everything is kept on file or documented these days. So I then asked if there would be a free corrected re-adjustment or refund if I were able to find the report and it was off.. that was immediately declined. When I asked how he could help me go about this after spending so much money, he was not only rude, but told me that he could offer me a free alignment check, however I would have to pay for anything else. The alignment check is already listed online as free regardless lol. I work for a home service company, and we guarantee our work, but at the very least, if someone spent almost $1,000 with us, we always help them out somehow. Especially given this was a HORRIBLE alignment (worse than when I took it in) and was done less than 6 months ago. And after reading other reviews, I should also mention how the one thing they said after the service was "your breaks look good, you should be okay for a while". And now of course my breaks are screeching when I did not ever have that issue before. I will not be giving this company my business ever again. I will take it elsewhere where it is appreciated, valued, and a concern when the work was never done correctly. So shoutout to you Big O, you have lost a paying customer over a simple $100 correction over a service that was done incorrectly on your end to begin with! read more

I just purchased tires here for over 1,200.00 w a waranty. I showed up here 2 weeks later in a tow truck cause I had flat tire and Chris the owner was so unprofessional, not a care in the world being understanding. He told me it would be a minimum of a week to 10 days to even get on the schedule to get car looked at and that it would have to sit there. I called Big O tires in Lakewood and spoke to Jose. He was very professional and understands customer service. He told me to bring in there and he would have it placed on the list for today under the circumstances. Big O tires 17503 South Golden Road, Golden Colorado Manager Kurtis Roushall, Sat 2/11 about 2pm I noticed a screw in my tread, went to another tire store but they were about to close and couldn't get to my tire repair so , Big O was down the street and went there to get tire fixed,This idiot said 1- 11/2 hours to look at it and no I had to wait, so I waited 1/2 later told me the tire was not able to be repaired had to be replaced and since I had all wheel drive I needed 4 new tires, and of course, filters, fluids and brakes! Told him my light never came on for low tire pressure, he said I had a leak , asked again no light must be a very slow leake. rudly said your tire is leaking. Told him to put my spare on and I went home, next day- took my tire to my 1st choice and he said no new tire, not even a leak! screw in tread and didnt go through enough to leak.
