Scheduling was easy. Technicians showed up on time. The cleaning didn't take long. I opted for the protectant on the carpet afterwards which proved to be a good decision. Post cleaning spills come up easier. I was surprised how well it worked because I am use to being on my knees scrubbing to no end when accidents happen. The floors look great especially the stairs that lead to outside. The carpet on the stairs looks as if it is nearly brand new. Anderson was not able to get pet stains out of our rugs. They made no promises. So while I was a little surprised, since both Dan and the person he sent were optimistic, maybe the stains were not cleanable. The reason for my low review is that it took three requests before Dan would send me a receipt for the work. And the person he sent wanted $100 extra in cash to clean a sofa that wasn't in the original request we made. I just don't like doing business this way. read more

Scheduling was easy and were able to meet my preferred window, plus it was a very good deal. They did a great job with the couch but really lackluster results on the rug. It's light in color and definitely had a wine stain. After cleaning, there are a couple spots that look cleaner but overall not much of a change, and just smooshed around the wine mark, and left other areas streaky. The technician thoroughly soaked the area and it took several days to dry it out. Definitely not what I expected, I would not use again. read more

Outstanding! I thought, for sure, we'd need to replace the carpet. Fortunately, I was wrong! My carpet hadn't been cleaned for at least 5 years. It looks nearly new. Anderson was able to remove the pet stains and the grease stain that the plumber left when they replaced our hot water heater. Anderson come with a full collection of different types of stain treatments and used them where needed. There was no extra charge for stain treatment. They don't nickel and dime you. My steps were initially cleaned but upon drying there were some white marks- I suspect the marks were from soap because my steps were so dirty! So I called a few places for pricing on cleaning a small couch in my little studio apartment. I decided on Anderson as they seemed to do the most for the same price as others. I made an appointment for between 3 and 5 on a Wednesday. By 4:30 the owner (his name now escapes me) called and said they were running a bit behind. Understandable. He expected someone in the next two hours. 6:30 comes. No word. So I call. He says they're still stuck at some (apparently very dirty) home. They will be done in an hour. I'm irritated at this point but trying to understand that these things happen. 8:30. NO WORD. So AGAIN I had to call. I told them to come tomorrow. They came the next morning and did a good job. All in all I understand things come up and things get pushed back but you CANNOT forget about your other clients, as small as their job may be. He did give me a little discount which I appreciate. But he should have been more on top of it so I didn't have to call him when I was waiting around. I would not use them again or recommend them. read more

Had work done on the house and needed to get basement carpets cleaned ... didn't want to pay a lot and found a deal on HomeRun ... got what I paid for. Dan was friendly and fast but didn't do a thorough job on cleaning my basement carpets - doesn't even look like he moved any of the furniture to clean everywhere like Stanley Steamer did. The reason I'm claiming the service wasn't good is b/c I have found lots of debris still left on the carpet. How would I discover that? My son had a cut on his leg. He scraped his leg on some small woodchip that was left on the stairs when he crawled up them. Once we saw that my husband felt around more on the stairs and found other bits and pieces of dirt/wood left from the remodeling. Yes, we did request that the stairs be cleaned as well but obviously they weren't. read more

The guy that showed up to clean my mattress and sofa cushions was a nice guy but not a professional and the machine used to do the cleaning looked like a broken children's garage-sale toy. Not a professional unit from a van/ truck type that I'm used too. I don't know how this company has a fair amount of decent reviews. That machine did absolutely nothing, it had zero power I think it just put dirty water out and now everything smells worse. I was very disappointed in this company. I set an appointment to have 3 area rugs, sofa, love seat and 2 chairs cleaned. I got a bad feeling when only 1 person showed up to do all the work. I've had cleaning done before and it had always been 2 people working together. This guy was at my house for over 4 hours. I thought he didn't clean the backside of my sofa but he assured me he already did it. I never really saw him move much around to get to all sides of the furniture but I guess I trusted him when I straight out asked him the question. One of my rugs looked dirtier than before he cleaned it and he said he didn't want to ruin the fibers by scrubbing too hard. I think I got lazy supervising him after he'd been there so long. After he left I saw that he never even moved my love seat out from the wall to clean the top and back side (where my cat had urinated, which we discussed). It was also sitting on a rug he cleaned so obviously it was only cleaned around the loveseat and not under. Emailed the owner to discuss at least getting the rug and loveseat re-cleaned or getting a refund. Never got a reply or a call. That's unacceptable. read more

I went with this company for several reasons. First and foremost I found them on Yelp and they have very good reviews. When I first contacted Dan, I felt that he was very professional and willing to set up an appointment in a very reasonable time. He gave a two hour window for when he would arrive and he arrived on the earlier side/on time. He also gave me a very reasonable quote. I had my large sectional cleaned as well as a small part of my bedroom carpet. He was very thorough and explained how his process worked. I would definitely recommend Dan and Anderson Certified.
