Spoke to Anderson LS after contacting a few other vendors. They were much quicker in getting to the apartment than others in the area. Was quoted $120 for a locked bedroom door opening which is pretty standard. There was also an after-hours service fee, so be sure to verify the price. Contractor brought the tools necessary, but thought that we may have to drill the lock. After reviewing several options, we were able to come up with a solution. We used an inflatable door wedge and successfully opened it with a pry bar with little to no damage to the jam and door. It was done in less than 15 minutes. Be sure to try a few options before drilling, you may be suprised with the results. This locksmith is capable, and has good customer service. read more

This is definitely a case of "do your homework". These 5 star reviews from people with just a few reviews...likely not real or coerced. Since I wrote this review, the "owner" who identifies himself on Yelp as Steve A. and on the phone as Mark and in a personal review of me (obviously negative) as Jason L. has repeatedly called me at work to try to "convince" me to change my review. He has stopped contacting me now and I took some time to cool off and consider whether to include this update and felt it was important enough to post. After the first time he called, I did consider giving him 1 star back (as I mentioned in my original review) but given he kept me on the phone for 30 minutes begging me, trying to offer me free services, or "anything" I was really put off. I straight up told Steve/Mark/Jason that if he wanted to refute my statements, he's more than welcome to write a public comment to my review multiple times but I'm sure that would require him to identify himself as the owner and he's just confused as to which identity to use. Now, I am solidly giving him a 1 star and a BIG warning to anyone thinking of using him. I'm sure he was a nice guy at some point and I really wish him the best of luck but, dude, pick your battles. You can't win 'em all. In fact, your strategy will likely make someone take the nuclear option. Maybe instead of harassing people in their place of work, you should just work on training for your employees/representatives. Good thing you're a locksmith and not a general. read more

These guys are extremely professional. I got locked out of my apartment at 1 am the night before a huge presentation at work. After speaking with Slava over the phone and texting him a picture of my lock, he was at my door within the hour. The pricing was fair and prospective fee schedule was laid out ahead of time. He was extremely skilled and was able to open my apt door without damage to the lock. Clearly the company is not out to take advantage by price gouging people in dire situations. After moving into my new apartment i decided to change out the old locks. i called and spoke to Steve. soon after emailing a photo of my lock i got a flat price over the phone which was a fair price. Steve showed up right on schedule and was a pleasure to work with. Great levels of service and Steve,very friendly and professional. i could not be happier with the services. Very happy with my experience. I went to Anderson locksmith based on the reviews and was not disappointed. My house locks seemed to be on their way out and were difficult. Whatever the locksmith did to fix them because the old locks are working a lot better. Steve took the time to explain exactly what the problem was and the repairs were needed. While I might not have enjoyed the experience of being locked out and forced to change locks, the guys at Anderson Locksmith were consummate professionals even at 11PM (and on.) Having spent 30 minutes just trying to get the thing open (we ended up having to drill it,) I had a new, matching-color lock before I went to bed. Heck, Doug and Ivan, after having had to stop and pick up a different cylinder, had the new high-security lock on within minutes. Great guys and great service; while you hopefully won't have to use them in the context of being locked out, they do superb work. 10/10 recommend. read more

Dave was very professional and very knowledgeable. We needed two locks changed to be key pad entries. We purchased the wrong equipment not once but twice, and Dave was incredibly patient helping us. After two visits on the same day with the wrong locks, he made time the next day in between appointments to come and install them. I called and received outstanding and professional response and was told that Who would call me when they arrive. The original quote over the phone was to install a deadbolt but when the locksmith arrived he explained to me that my lockset was in good condition and changed out the cylinder instead. Anderson Locksmith is really easy to work with. I had to get a fresh deadbolt installed and was able to get advice on what kind of get, and easily made an appointment. Eric gave me a courtesy call an hour before getting to the apartment, and was on time. The install took about 15 minutes, and Eric provided some unsolicited aesthetic advice which I appreciated - he even made some adjustments to the already installed mortise doorknob to make sure it matched up to my new deadbolt.
