Dishonest! They installed an expensive $700 lock a year and a half ago, and it broke. The locksmith told me there was only a 3 month warranty and that I had to pay $700 to install a new one. Immediately after he left we called the manufacturer who let us know there is a 3 year warranty and promptly gave us a code to get a new lock. Unfortunately S & P prefers to keep our money rather than reimburse us for the new lock they lied and told us we needed. Won't return phone calls! GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR A LOCKSMITH! I'd say they are not professionals, but they have clearly made it their profession to rip people off, and they are good at it! read more

Go anywhere else. "Most expensive keys I've ever had made and they don't work" - a review from another customer a year ago that applies to me today. $40 for 2 keys copied and they're not working. Went to a hardware store and got 2 working keys for under $20. I asked for a refund and they refused. read more

GREAT SERVICE!! I needed keys made last minute for my boss and everything was taken care of within 10 minutes. Conveniently located in midtown, and wonderful supporting a small business/shop as opposed to a large company, like Lowes, which is what I was originally going to do. So glad I didn't. Definitely would not have received the kind and quick service. I should note that you will need to go up the flight of stairs to the first level, make a left, and then make an immediate left again. read more

This is my first review and I swore I would save it for a truly worthy experience. Well, this place is more than worth it! A little tricky to find (hint: go up first flight of stairs and just keep turning left). The locksmith was a very friendly guy. Great service. Was literally in and out within 10 minutes. Highly recommend if you are looking to make duplicate keys and are in a time crunch. Very tiny shop near Rockefeller Center (it can easily be missed as it sits behind a storefront). Walked in to make a duplicate of a "Mul-T-Lock" Key and was out in about five minutes. Although a bit pricier ($20 for the duplicate) - The locksmith was friendly and quick. I'll definitely be using this place again. read more
