Mitchell came to my home and we spent hours designing a system including not only all of the typical stuff such as door and window sensors and motion detectors, but also glass break monitors and water alarms for the laundry room and sump pump areas. Mitchell did not "sell" any of this stuff to me. I asked for it and we designed an excellent system together. The reason that I am writing the review today is because this is the first time that I have spoken to Mitchell in over two years. I received an alert on my control pad that a battery was low and I didn't know which device needed the new battery. I called Mitchell on his cell phone. He picked up on the second ring. I had the battery in a drawer and he identified the device and walked me through the battery change over the phone. This tells you a couple of things: 1. The equipment that Mitchell sold to me over 2 years ago works without issue. I literally have had not spoken to him in over 2 years because I have NEVER had a problem. My big problem today was that I needed a new battery. I'm OK with that. 2. Mitchell answers his phone. He is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. Mitchell is a good guy. He knows what he is doing and he sells good stuff. I recommend him without hesitation.

We are so glad that we did! Toby made his way through the Manhattan weekday traffic and quickly went to work, explaining what he would need to do and the steps he would take. The slam lock on my apartment door is of the annoying variety--the ones that only keep the door unlocked for one-time use, before the latch switches back the next time you close the door. Because of this, I've been locked out of my apartment several times. Apparently, for the past two years, I'd been getting swindled by other locksmiths who claimed to not be able to unlock my door without drilling it off and changing the cylinder. I called Falcon and asked for a quote for a cylinder change, assuming that's what had to be done. They informed me that there are 10 other methods they can try before drilling. TEN. Toby, the locksmith, opened my door in minutes, no drilling, no anything. He confirmed that I was likely being swindled by other companies. He even fixed a loose screw on my lock at no extra cost. Toby was the best. He was super communicative, resourceful, helpful and realistic. I had a cheap locksmith come over the weekend who messed up my entire lock - it was short sighted to use someone with no reviews or recommendation. Toby came and explained the entire mechanics of the lock to me, told me what to do next time (fingers crossed there is no next time), and showed me what and how he was going to fix it. I explained to Rich that part of our key had gotten stuck in our door and would no longer lock. He was able to find time for Greg to squeeze me in that morning. Greg arrived on time and was up front about the cost of labor (which was reasonable) and got the lock fixed. Later on in the day when I realized there was an issue with how the lock was functioning from the other side of the door, I called Greg to let him know. He returned that same day at no extra charge and took his time to figure out the issue and fix it without having to replace part of the lock (and thus charge more). They is an excellent locksmith -- the lock he replaced a few months ago are still going strong. And he's great at diagnosing and resolving a problem. For example, my front gate was sticking and I thought it was the lock, but Toby took the time to show me that it was actually a problem with the gate itself. He trimmed down the metal gate (for free) which resolved the issue.
