Anderson Orchard is one of my favorites. It is not on many people's radar which makes it a fun and chill option! So many apple trees to walk through. A great size pumpkin patch. A huge kids area. Delicious food options! My favorite is the fried biscuits with apple butter!! AND you can bring dogs!!

Mac n cheese with queso and brisket from the food truck they had. SOOO good!

We went on a fall weekend and it was a great time. We had the family meet us there and we were able to pick apples, eat treats, drink cider and they even had a food truck (DELICIOUS) as well as a petting zoo. For the kids they had a nice play area. Everyone was friendly and seemed to be having a great time. There were several tables just outside the store by the concession area. Everyone was welcome, there were families, couples, individuals and many cultures represented. It was just a really nice day. I'll definitely return next fall.

We had a great time in this Apple Orchard, there were a lot of fun activities to do and the customer service was excellent! We will be back next year!

Can't visit without getting an elephant ear...or fried biscuits with apple butter...or cider slush....or..

Autumn in Indiana isn't complete without our annual trip to Anderson Orchard. It's gained in popularity over the years so expect to wait a bit for parking on nice weather weekend days. We love it for the chance to drive through the orchard to pick out our own apples and enjoy the beautiful views. They also have u-pick pumpkins and raspberries. Our favorite part is the concessions with elephant ears & apple cider slushies.

We went yesterday (9/25) to the apple orchard cause they were also having a festival and craft fair. I was so impressed by how big this orchard was and how many apple trees they had. Such a good selection even with the busy weekend. We had biscuits and apple butter & apple pie with ice cream to snack on &&&& an apple cider slushee and all of it was so good, especially the apple pie and homemade ice cream. So yummy! The kids enjoyed playing on the playground too.

Amazing place to make memories! Family tradition with the apple picking, play ground, and the best frozen apple concoction imaginable

Great family fun at Anderson's orchard! They have the annual apple orchard dash for a fall 5K and kids run. Do a little U-pick apples and pumpkins. Pick up some apple cider while you're there!

Ask the Community - Anderson Orchard

Are there any food options available on weekdays? Elephants ears, slushies, apple cobbler or pie?

Slushies and caramel apples are available weekdays. The week of Oct 13 (fall break), we will have a full concession menu.

    Are dogs allowed?

They didn't have any signs about no animals. My guess is service animal are okay but you should call to confirm.

Does it cost money to pick your own apples? I havent seen prices listed anywhere. If so how much?

Price is by volume --peck to bushels. You get as many large and small bags as you like. Last weekend we paid $32/bushel (40 lbs of apples), in a bunch of small bags. We picked 2 bushels; it didn't take long at all, it's fun, and you get the exact… Read more

The hay ride over to the fields was slow and easy. The driver even offered to snap a picture for us. We picked just short of a full bucket. It came to about $20. They spoil fast, so have a plan! Don't just pop them in the fridge. Then, we went inside the store and grabbed a cantaloupe and some hard cider. The strawberry hard cider was perfection. It was like drinking a fresh strawberry. One of the best ciders I've had - top 3, easy! He said the cantaloupe was great, too! I grabbed a few stickers for my scrapbook and a magnet for his fridge at the little store in the porch. And oh!... don't miss the cider donuts! The plain are best. The icing was waaaay too sweet for me, Overall a fantastic outing! We will do it again!

LOL Nice local spot with plenty of veggies, apple cider and many more things offered. I would love to go back when the weather is a little bit better so we can pick. Would I go back? Yes, I would give them repeat business, everyone was extremely nice and accomodating.

That being said, I had a lovely day at Dollie's. The location appears to be dog and family friendly and would be a fun day out for families. Flowers were very popular with various sizes offered at a range of cost, from small bunches to a bucket! I went for the lavender. You are given a basket and garden shears and left to cut your own. I took my time and enjoyed the relaxing environment. Pricing is per ounce, pre-wrapped bundles are available but these are dried. There are a few animals including peacocks! A store is located on the site, filled with cute home and body care. All of the items were lavender themed-I'm not sure if this was done for the festival or if this is standard.

This farm is family owned and you can tell that they put so much love into this business. It's a beautiful thing to see. Lois and Don explained to us how picking at their farm works and what sort of flowers and greenery we should pick. You have the option between at $35 bucket (the largest picking bucket) a $25 bucket and they have $5 buckets for kids. We went with the $35 bucket and it was huge. They taught us how long the stems need to be and to use the garden shears to cut the stems at an angle. Then they let us roam free to pick! We were there bright and early at 9AM and we were the only customers so we had the farm to ourselves. We spent the next hour and a half picking flowers and greenery. It was so peaceful and beautiful on their farm. When we were finished we went back up to the counter. Lois taught us about some of the different flowers we picked and answered any questions we had. We paid, and then we were on our way! When we got home we arranged our bouquets. We were able to get 4 bouquets out of all of our flowers which was awesome! Be sure to bring your own bucket for transporting the flowers! They provide the picking buckets, but you definitely need one for transport. We had SO much fun at the flower farm. I can't wait to return later in the summer. I HIGHLY recommend checking out this amazing family owned business, it's something special!
