We visit Tuttles at least three times a year between November and June and more frequently during harvest season. Inside offering of fresh donuts and quick breads are very good. Apples hare the reason we keep coming back. So many varieties and helpful information about each. Their rewards program have worked out well for us. The lunches during summer are a good reason to bring a group. They have fresh service down to a science. Parking is well managed. For us it is important to be close since some of our 65+ YOs can't travel too far. Restrooms are sufficient and immaculate! Strongly recommend you don't bypass this location during off season. A great location for butters, jellies, jams, baked goods and frozen Fisher meats. Plus if you are seeking frozen fruits their freezer section is terrific. read more

Going in off-season was a risk as far as choices of items and all of that. We went into the Farmer store and got several items, including a new type of Apple called and ever crisp. It is not as good as a honey crisp but It is supposedly a winter version of it. Even though I lived in Greenfield for a few years as a kid, this was my first time visiting Tuttle and I loved it! I didn't know what to expect but everything was so well run and thought out. From parking to apple picking to the grill to the store, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Apple picking was fun, but there was only one type of apple available (Jonathan) when we were there but I think it was just a weird gap weekend where some apples were past their window and some were not ready yet. The bbq sandwich I had at the grill was so good! And the applesauce was amazing. Even though it was simple, it's the best meal I've had in a while. Plus, an apple slush...the cherry (apple?) on top. I bought so many things in the store. The way it's set up, the line just weaves through the product shelves, so it's nearly impossible to walk through without seeing and wanting everything. We've been to Tuttle Orchard twice this year. The first time was for the YOU PICK FLOWERS. Yesterday we visited with my nephews (who are on a Fall break). Both times were very nice. The boys (and my husband) had fun with all of the activities. There are basketball hoops, haystacks to climb, slides, tricycle races, photo ops, a corn maze and more. The sweet shop and market carry some of the best goodies I have had at an orchard. We specifically go for their apple cider donuts, apple dumplings and pumpkin loaf. read more

I had a great time at Tuttle Orchard in late September! It was the first fall weekend of the year, but also a toasty 85 degrees. The heat was rough, but I still had a good time with my two friends. I didn't get anything from the grill, but my friends did. They enjoyed the pulled pork (said it tasted kind of like a sloppy Joe but with pork) and turkey wrap. Later we had apple cider slushes and I got a Native Bread gluten free pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. I'm so so glad that Tuttle Orchard has items like that for people with gluten free needs (and dairy free needs) like me! The apple cider slushes were perfectly refreshing after a stroll through the corn maze and the ~13 min wagon ride tour of the farm. I ended up grabbing a gallon of cider to take home (~$9). While the activities are mostly for kiddos, my friends and I had a good time hanging out as adults too. I'm sure I'll be back to Tuttle at some point in the future! This is easily one of my favorite orchards and Labor Day weekend is such a busy time! They have U-Pick flowers and apples and it's a great time. They have multiple selections of sizes and a beautiful field to create your own bouquet. We were able to attend Tuttles for the fall event! We had a blast. The farm is HUGE! I loved being able to buy local at the market. My kiddo and family had a blast. We were able to pick pumpkins, apples, and do a hayride. They also had the option to pick flowers. There was a huge area for kids to play, even a special area for toddlers. My only suggestion to the farm (during events like these), PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ALL OF THE RESTROOM OPTIONS ONLY AT THE ENTRANCE. Being a mom of a toddler who is newly potty trained, was a challenge when we had a long hike to the bathroom stations, in the front, from the back of the farm. It would have been so nice to have a restroom option close to where the hayride/corn pit was! Other than that, beautiful layout and a lot of activities for all ages. Wow - there are so many activities going on here! Apple picking, pumpkin patches, pick your own bouquet, eat donuts, and even actual lunch food (to complement the apple cider donuts + slushies). I am surprised how much time we spent here. They have a TON of parking and really know how to handle large groups. The gift shop is also an impressive maze (by the way - you can go in the little side shop and buy single donuts). We learned this after we bought the six pack (ate all the donuts) and then discovered we could buy single donuts (a great excuse to try the other flavors). It is a little pricey, but it's a family owned business. You will need to pay to enter the "farm" kiddie playland, but no fee to park or go into the pumpkin/apple/flower area. My daughter and I went and picked pumpkins and . I'm a plant person so the flowers was the best for me to cut them personally and my daughter said that was her favorite part as well she's 14. They have amazing people working and it was so organized and flowed so smooth. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was open to a new experience. It was initially confusing knowing where to go(not for lack of signage but because there were so many) but i figured it out and purchased our tickets which also came with a free apple slushie coupon. There were a lot of attractions and play areas for kids, which was the purpose of this trip. We enjoyed the tractor ride that gives a brief ride through the apple trees and pumpkin patch areas that included a little history lesson and cute little dad jokes. It was a little warm/hot so I was glad we got stuck inside in the corn pit that the kids and bigger "kids" really enjoyed. We had a wonderful family day here. When we arrived they had someone directing traffic and parking was very easy. All staff that we spoke with was very friendly. One side of the street has a tent where you can buy food like pulled pork. Then they also have a market and a spot to buy snacks. We grabbed the frozen apple cider and their homemade donuts. It was such a perfect treat, on this HOT fall day. The other side of the street has so many fun activities. You can pick your own apples, pick your own flower bouquet and visit the pumpkin patch. We picked our own apples and had a lot of fun searching for apples with our little one. For $10 you can get admission to all the fun. We did the small corn maze and played with bubbles. I was contemplating which Indy pumpkin patch / apple orchard to visit for the fall season, and so many people recommended Tuttle's, so I had to visit. I appreciated that there was no admission or parking fee! I visited on Oct 19, so several of the apple varieties had already been picked / fallen for the season. However, I did manage to find a bag full of Fuji and Cortland apples left! I picked about 10 apples for $8 (they charge you a flat fee depending on the bag size you choose at the entrance). The pumpkin patches are next to the apple orchards, so you don't have to walk too far to visit both. After apple picking, I visited their general store & restaurant across the road which sold apple cider slushies, hot cider, sparkling canned cider, and donuts (they have pumpkin and apple cider). I had a slushie, which was so fresh and naturally sweet. I can't wait to dig into my pumpkin donuts later! On a hot summers day, if you want something refreshing, cold and want that natural sweetness come to the Tuttle a orchards cafe. My friends took me here to try their famous apple cider. I believe they went for the apple cider slushees, but as a native Californian I wanted to just try to original drink itself first. Honestly if this was in California they would probably charge 8 to 9 bucks a cup. My friends also told me to try their apple cider donuts. The basic summary of how they describe the donuts is basically the concept of die on this hill. I trusted my friends and none of their recommendations have failed me so far in my five years of visit to here. My goodness I have to say that it is unlike any donuts Ive had. The inside was gooey but was still soft and the apple flavoring was powerful with the apple sugar glaze. It is an excellent donut! They told me that I need to try it right when it comes out of the oven because that is when it is the best. And we had the one that was packaged and brought home after a few hours. Other than the crowd and stifling dust, neither of which is under their control, Tuttles is the best local orchard and it's not even close. They have the traffic and people lines down to a science. I've never encountered an employee who doesn't go above and beyond. I'm glad they've added the restroom trailer, it helps considerably. A touch on the pricey side but I'm willing to pay for the quality of the products and the experience. It was the first warm day this week when I was babysitting my grandkids. It was a nice ride out there. Plenty of parking and all of the areas & activities are well labeled. We stopped in today for lunch and we bought multiple products: corn, peaches, watermelon, and cider. The reason for this post is we had great customer service today! We got home and cut into the watermelon and it was not ripe. Over the phone without me having to take it in they gave us a full refund of the black diamond watermelon. Stopped to get nine pieces of pie for a volunteer recognition luncheon. The staff was super friendly, and they were very accommodating, putting the pieces of pie in two bags with handles to carry in, threw in silverware for each piece. The pie pieces are reasonable at under four dollars a slice. I also got the chicken salad croissant. I like how they did not put the chicken salad on the croissant. The chicken salad was just OK. This is a great place for the family year round. My favorite time is fall when the corn maze is up, but it's great all the time. I was blessed to be able to be a guest when my grandsons K5 class visited for a day last fall. The guides couldn't have been better with the kids. It was highly educational as well as fun and event packed. They kids got to pick pumpkins, sit in on a teaching time about bees and pollinators, pick apples, learn about multiple apple types, visit the cider mill and observe the cider making process, then they visited the playground for about an hour. The huge slides, over sized bike races and sand digging equipment, climbing the hay bake stacks, learning about and petty different types of farm animals! What a day for some 50 kids and all of the chaperones. We were exhausted when it ended but I believe I'll remember the experience forever. Best part is my grandson and I have a VERY SPECIAL memory we get to share forever. We have talked about it many times already. read more

We have been accustomed to visiting Tuttles each year in the fall for apples and pumpkins and a fun day, ie the corn maze. I was surprised this year to find out they have several beautiful greenhouses in the early spring. Today was their opening day and they were quite busy. We found their flowers, green plant, and vegetable/herb plants to be healthy and quite in line price wise with the other greenhouses in our area. We got several plants today and plan to return on a weekday morning when they aren't quite so busy. Service was fast, helpful, and friendly. They also had the country story and bakery open for the weekend and there were several booths open in the parking lot with Amish baked goods and other items. Give Tuttles an early spring visit. My daughter went to a field trip here, and had a blast. Apple picking, pumpkin picking, information on bees. I didn't get picked to chaperone, but she insisted we head over. So we headed over in 1st Saturday in October, it was packed! But it was cute...they have wagons for you to grab pumpkins and a lot of photo op areas. The apple cider donuts were also delicious! But the lines are kind of queued up so you order off a pad, get a number for pickup. They apple cider donuts were delicious and if you microwave for 5 sec when you get home, still a bit warm and delicious. They also had $4 roasted corn on the cob, caramel apples were about $5.
