Cade came out to repair my Speed Queen dryer. Turned out it was lint buildup in areas inaccessible to me. He was the soul of professionalism, explaining what he was doing and why. He cleaned up afterwards. He also pinpointed why I was having the lint buildup ... turns out the company that did my siding years ago had covered over the dryer vent, and that will have to be rectified a.s.a.p. This was money well spent, and I will be scheduling a yearly vent cleaning with Anderson. Everything about this family-owned business is professional ... even to the messaging about arrival. Refrigerator. Called in at 8:20am. Received professional assistance over the phone to secure an appointment for the same afternoon. Our service tech Kirk text me twice , First when he was at the appointment ahead of us . Then when he was on his way . Kirk checked the systems on our fridge and found we were having a compressor issue. We had our refrigerator serviced by LG under warranty 3 years prior . Kirk informed/ reminded me that LG replaced Compressor then when doing other work. Such Honesty and Professionalism is greatly appreciated. Kirk said they would love to do a $1,000+ repair job , But just couldn't recommend it seeing the last repair only lasted 3 years. I will refer Anderson's Appliance Repair to everyone. Kirk came out a few weeks ago to help my mom when her fridge was acting up, threatening all the holiday food she'd just purchased. Every other place we called said they couldn't come out for days- but Kirk showed up a few hours later. While, yes, he solved the issue with the fridge (and saved all the food) the big thing was that while he was working, my dad was only a few feet away, in at-home hospice. Kirk was incredibly wonderful and kind and compassionate to my mom and to my dad, and we appreciated him SO MUCH during such a tough time to take care of our family in this way. My mom's stove is now not working and of course we will be calling them this morning- there's no one else we would rather have here. read more

My elderly dishwasher had been acting up for some time. Based on the recommendations I read here, I called to set up an appointment. I was immediately contacted by Kirk, offering an appointment on Thursday. I agreed and he said Bill would call to let us know before he arrived. My husband set up our previous appliance repair so I was surprised to see that Bill had serviced our dishwasher previously. He couldn't get a necessary part, but was able to reset it, making it wash. I appreciate Bill's honesty and professionalism as much as his customer service and positive attitude. While a new dishwasher is in my future, I will call Anderson's for future appliance repair. read more

Kirk and his assistant have changed my mind on contractors assigned by a warranty company. We had four appliances being serviced, Kirk took his time to do the job correctly, order the correct parts, communicate on scheduling and when the manufacturer sent out the wrong part for our oven he made a special trip to make sure our oven worked before Easter even though he was still waiting for another part to be delivered for a separate appliance. We have a new baby and with COVID concerns when we have someone in the home even if they a fabric mask we offer them a new surgical mask, they were very understanding and took the new masks. The part that impressed us most and showed the character of the people who we were allowing in our home was when they returned for the next appointment they had saved the masks and were already prepared. A contractor that pays attention to even that small detail is rare and certainly the type of person we will refer and hire again. GREAT JOB! read more

Dryer broke on a Sunday. I called Monday morning and spoke to Diane. She told me in would be a week or so before they could get out. She mentioned she would call if they had any cancellations. It wasn't two hours later she called and got me in the next day. Bill came out and immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time. Great service. Trustworthy and very fair with the price. I recently bought a new floor model Samsung 42" refrigerator and I couldn't figure out why my door alarm would go off every three minutes even though all doors were closed and it wasn't making ice. I had to wait a week for Anderson Appliance to come out but it wasn't urgent (I could turn my door alarm off). They called the day before and sent texts throughout the day updating me in regards when they would arrive. After diagnosis of the problem they were quick to get it back and up and running for under $200. Very happy with the service and to have my fridge back up and running. Will definitely contact them in the future if I have any issues with appliances. read more

This company should be shut down for the illegal way they handle disputes. After a call back in which they didn't fix my tenants dryer right the first time, they wanted to be paid a service charge again. When I refused, rather than try and work something out, their tech tore apart the dryer and took a part I had paid for on the previous call. He left the dryer in pieces then proceeded to break a switch on the washer to leave it inactive. When I called him on it , he said pay me my money and I'll come back and put everything back. That's when the police got involved. Save yourself the money and aggravation in dealing with this pathetic company. read more

We recently had to repair our double oven and warming drawer. We had no idea of the age of the units or model numbers since we just recently moved into the house. Our bottom oven door wasn't staying closed and our warming drawer timing/power dial wasn't working properly. Anderson was able to come out the next day. Kirk was friendly and made sure to explain exactly what I needed in terms of part. He was also able to tell me a bit about the appliances themselves and their condition. The hinge for the oven came quickly and he came out to fix it. Because the dial for the drawer was not a common part, it was going to be delivered later. Kirk said he'd make two trips to cover the repairs so I didn't have to wait for the oven repair. He did a temporary fix for the oven too. The pricing was very fair and he did a great job. If I ever need appliance repair again, I will definitely be calling Anderson! read more

It is a pleasant surprise that this time I am not "bitchin" (lol) I called Anderson Appliance yesterday afternoon and was met with a very polite women who took my information. As promised, I received a call this morning from a repair tech who stated he was on his way. Kirk arrived promptly as stated. He was clean, polite and quick, what more could you want. We called and they came the same morning!!! The price was very fair and the work was completed in a very timely fashion. They were knowledgable and professional. My washer is a frigidare and another repairman told us they need help to remove the dryer from my stacked unit which would be extra$$$$. Anderson repair didn't ! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!! What a truly horrific experience... First a gentleman came to fix my dishwasher that took 3+ hours with no resolution, now I can understand as it came to be a difficult job. He also scratched the heck out of my wood floors with a nail or screw during his attempt. This was 6 days before chistmas and said the part would hopefully get in before Christmas, but if not he'd call me. No one called so I followed up on Tuesday (day after Xmas)and was told someone would get back to me by the end of business or tomorrow. Never got a return call so I followed up on Thursday at 3p and said would be at least another week till part came in, not mention the woman was extremely rude on the call. So now the part came in yesterday and was over to fix today. The guy uses a black marker to fix my very noticeably scratched floors, not a surprise. The part does work and get the dishwasher going, even though this has been going on since December 20th and we're at Jan 5th. NOW I go in my basement and there's WATER EVERYWHERE BECAUSE IT WASNT INSTALLED properly and has damaged very sentimental belongings including Christmas, Halloween and children's items along with damaging my floors even further! I've got video and pictures to prove. I urge anyone who is considering using this service based on their reviews to BEWARE...NOT WHATS ADVERTISED! read more

This place is a rip off! They charge a fee for just coming to your house, a diagnostic fee, a labor fee, & a parts fee! Prepare to spend a lot of money on getting your appliance fixed! I thought that the service was OK at best, the service tech did an analysis of my range top and it toke about 10 minutes he than said i needed a new part that would automatically light the burners, that is what I told them i needed when i called them. And for that it cost over 684.00 to replace. I told him that I could replace for just a few dollars more. He was at my home for about 30 minutes and it cost me 88.00 for him to tell me what i already knew. Before you call them you better make sure that you have your wallet open and ready to pay more than it should cost. i have used them in the past and they where great I don't know what changed, all I know is that I would not call them again. Called @ 8:05 am and was told they could not come out for 3 days. Not what they promise on website that if you call before 10am they see you the same day. I understand things happen and would of understood next day, but 3 days was too long. Had to use someone else, and they made it the same day. read more
