The garden plants are well cared for and moderately priced featuring a wide array of annuals, perennials and house plants. We purchased two spider plants @ $4 each to revive a hanging basket which is now is thriving. The indoor section features local fresh produce much cheaper and certainly more attractive than commercial retailers. It is also a kick to support our local farmers. There is a big assortment of home-made jams, jellies, candies, honey and other natural food products. They are gearing up for Fall by starting their hardy Mum seedlings. We will certainly return for those when they mature and the Summer heat wave begins to taper off.

I was on cloud nine walking through the outdoor plants. The plants appeared unscathed by the miserably hot temperatures of the current heat wave that we are experiencing in the area. They had definitely received excellent care. The selection is astonishing. They have a large selection of herbs, annuals, perennials, and ready-made hanging baskets. Browsing through the indoor fruit market is a step back in time. The market has been in business since 1978! Small but chock full of garden fresh fruits vegetables from local farms, locally made honey and jams, locally canned pickled okra and garlic, Amish goods, natural products, and much, much more. Oh, and my favorite, many varieties of old-fashioned candy! The garden center prices beat those of the big box stores and also a few nurseries and garden centers that are closer to our home. The market prices were higher than local grocery and big-box stores, but garden fresh is always better, and supporting local businesses is the way to shop! We needed to replace an old, lethargic spider plant hanging basket and bought two small spider plants that were so healthy and full of pups! Getting in and out of the center was a bit tricky as it is located on the corner of two very busy roads, but it was worth it!

I was very shocked when I got the invoice. $250 worth of parts ended up costing $1700 by the time I got it back. The service department was not busy at all. Apparently they had to charge me for all their guys that had nothing to work on. ( price gouging ??) I've had the other hose replaced from another place and it was not more then $500 for parts and labor. Same hose on the other side of the machine. Called them to question their pricing and they came up with all kinds of reasons why it cost so much when in reality it was a 2-4 hour job at most not 10 hours like I was charged. Well needless to say I won't be going there for service anymore. On a good note they seem like nice people just should be more up front with what it's going to cost when you drop your equipment off. I was told "if it's just a hose it won't be that bad to have it replaced". $1700 is pretty bad.

SIE hasn't carried Ariens mowers for many years, and they do not carry ANY Ariens parts what-so-ever. Additionally the only retailer selling Ariens in the Louisville area is Lowes and they do not handle parts either. BTW this lack of a replacement parts is something you should consider before buying any brand mower. Yes you can find parts on line, but many times you need the part today and on line purchases are not always reliable and can take a week or more to be delivered. All that said, recently I've needed a couple parts and could not find them anywhere locally. When I searched on line for my parts, several times my part number was cross referenced with Gravely mower parts. Ariens and Gravely are made by the same manufacturer. So I start researching Gravely dealers in the Louisville area. Eureka, The Mower Shop is a Gravely dealer! Not only is The Mower Shop a Gravely dealer, they carry a large inventory of replacement parts. The Mower Shop has had every part I've needed so far, and at reasonable prices. Additionally, the employees I've dealt with were all friendly and knowledgeable. IF I ever buy a new zero turn, The Mower Shop will be my first stop!

I drove accross town because we had a Toro mower with A Briggs and Stratton engine...not purchased…read morethere. We did not have the recept or card statement. but after contacting Toro/ Briggs they suggested going to an authorized service center and if it was that new ( less than year ?) they would be able to verify by serial # ...I remembered my parents had bought mowers there years back (I'm almost 68 so years ago) the guy at the desk was very courteous. But he went back to ask the " lady that handled warranties" each time he came back I wasn't able to provide..receipt no..credit card statement no ...I had intended to leave it for repair ( on my dime) but an older larger woman came out to repeat what he had already said...but then said I had not been told what I said by the engine company...as a retired medical professional I suppose I had not been called a liar in so long I was shocked. He went to see cost to check it out after he stepped away I thought why patronize people who feel free to call you a liar ..so I eggresses replaced my mower in the truck...but came back In side to tell him why I was not leaving it and to thank him for his time. They appear busy so I guess they have plenty of business...not to worry I won't waste another minute there....I looked online when I returned home and there are things posted from Briggs and Toro indicating what I was told. I'm not sure why she chose to say they never told you that as opposed to they may have told you that but our company policy won't allow it or ? Perhaps being a mower warranty clerk in a mower shop at her age has made her bitter ? Who knows... I think we'd use pinking shears on the lawn before returning there.

I do not have Four Seasons take care of all our lawn care needs (my husband still likes to cut the grass), but even though I use them on an as need basis, for garden and sprinkler work, I still am treated like a valued customer. I recommend them, for one time services and regular long-term service. Many of my friends and neighbors use them, as does our HOA. Their lawns and gardens and our neighborhood looks great! They trimmed all shrubs, removed about 6 or 7 that was hit hard by the past winter and some just had gotten to big and gawdy looking. They put new mulch down and they always clean up and leave the property looking so much better than when they arrive. THe workers are always polite, very accommodating and very professional in their jobs. Hard working and seem to love what they are doing and who they are working for. Aaron is always prompt on responding to calls and text. Very nice, polite and will go out of his way to make his customers happy. What more can you ask for....nothing. My name is Michael Thomas I have been interviewed several years ago with wave 3 here at my shop in Oldham County. It was a wooden art piece I was making on a cnc machine for the family of a fallen officer that was killed on Christmas eve. I would give dates and name however I am suffering from a TBI Traumatic Brain Injury that happened June 29 2016 due to a Kubota Tractor free wheeling down a steep hill due to faulty equipment it had. It was mentioned on the interview done of me showing the tractor the drive and location the brain injury happened. The interview was not about that yet she did try to get me to say more I simply stay with the project I was working with and the cause. I since traded the tractor in for a new one at Anderson sales and service in Crestwood KY. Josh is part owner and it is he we bought it from and him knowing of the past issue with me and Kubota having the faults. Over the past couple years I have had much similar issues with the new tractor and despite my cry for help not only for me but everyone that has the tractor as it has a deadly problem and again 5 or 6 times it has happened and I have paid to fix the faulty part even with this under warranty they do noting to help not even return a call. Pictures show the front drive shaft as this is 4 wheel drive and needed due to the rolling hills here. WHen that small keeper pin shears/breaks the shaft falls off and it leaves a 4 wheel drive tractor with 2 wheels and only one pulling thus if on a hill you either get lucky or you simply die and again for me the first time I spent 1.5 weeks in a coma at UofL then frasier rehab and I live with that brain injury day in and day out. I try to do my best when it comes to safety due to my brain injury and I am beyond scared to death not only for me but for everyone that is unaware of the issue as its cover up with anderson and as of yet no help from Kubota supprt which took me 6 hours to reach. I am beyond open to speak and answer any and all question in hopes that this matter can be fixed before they take someone's life away from them as it took most of my od life from me already and now trying to kill me. Sorry I have a severe TBI so I hope you can make sense of the above and its Dawn G I always spoke to in the past and she knows me if asked just tell her I am who made her the wooden crucifix of Jesus. They not only sell lawn equipment, they also repair equipment. SIE's main business is selling and servicing Zero Turn lawn mowers as well as lawn tractors. SIE sells everything from residential mowers to big commercial mowers that can sell for several thousands of dollars. I had bought a zero turn mower from SIE 11 years ago at their original Lanesville location which was before they opened the Sellersburg store. After over 10 years of mowing grass, my zero turn frame broke. While I wasn't happy about what I thought was going to be a major repair, I understood mechanical things don't last forever. I have taken excellent care of my mower and had expected it to last at least a couple more years. I went to SIE to do two things, get an estimate for repairing my mower, and look at new mowers and prices. I spoke with Steve a repair mechanic, about my mower and the break. Steve said they'd seen this type of break before and he could fix it without too much trouble and cost. Steve gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost. I was pleasantly surprised that the repair cost wasn't as much as I was expecting. The only hang up is the shop is so busy, Steve said he might not be able to get to the repair for a week! Steve did promise he would get it fixed as soon as possible but he couldn't guarantee anything. I made arrangements to have them come pick up my mower and get in line to get my mower repaired. SIE picked up my mower 1st thing the next morning. Within 2 days Steve repaired my mower and for the very cost he estimated when we spoke. My mower was returned to me very quickly and I'm back to mowing with my old mower. Very happy with their repair cost and service. IF I decide to buy a new zero turn in the future, SIE will be the first people I check with. The ONLY reason I didn't give them 5 stars is nobody in the facility was/is wearing mask nor social distancing. This all happened prior to the latest guidance on mask wearing by CDC.

I recently bought a used Hustlar Super Z from someone who's husband passed away and she was…read moredownsizing. This is my first zero turn mower so I wasn't as familiar with the machines. I wanted some general maintenance done on it to make sure it was in tip top shape. The previous owner bought it from Southern Indiana equipment and had them maintain it. When I took it in they took the time to look up what had previously been done on that mower so they didn't try to charge me for things that didn't need to be done. To me that was very impressive. Even more impressive was that when I dropped it off and picked it up two different guys took the time to show me some things about my mower, what to look for if something isn't working right and some general tips to make it last longer. I also thought the prices on the parts were extremely reasonable. They could have charged me twice the price for spark plugs, filters, and a couple other things and I wouldn't have thought anything of it. I felt that their customer service was way above normal customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or maintain a riding mower. I also own a cub cadet riding mower and they said they work on all types of mowers so anytime I need maintenance done on either machine I will be taking it there. Thanks for the great service

We parked it in the garage, and three days later I went to do my first mow, and it wouldn't start, after several attempts, we had to jump it off, and as long as I didn't let it stop, I was able to mow. Also, the bag catcher didn't fit properly, but now I find out its because I didn't have it installed properly, it would have been nice if someone would have taken the time to show me how to put it on properly, but that would take customer service skills. After my first mow, I called them, they came out and put a new battery on, and supposedly it was fixed, again, about 3 days after that, I got on it to do my 2nd mow, and guess what, it wouldn't start. I made sure my arms were in the right position, and everything was correct, but just clicking. I had to jump it and again, it jump started immediately, and I was able to mow again, but by this time, I'm just angry, i've paid a lot of $$ for a new mower, I shouldn't have to jump start it each time. So I called them again, and they said well, sometimes we get some machines that just aren't right, and they have to work with them, so they came out again to pick up, this time, they kept it for over a week, they claim that it has started everytime they've attempted, so they can't find anything wrong with it. I asked them, if I get this back, and it doesn't start, and we can prove its not user error, what is the process of giving this back, because I'm not going to be out the money, and I was told that they can't take it back, I would be stuck with it, but I could trade it in on something else, but not for the total sell price. I think if we reach that point, I will have my attorney contact them instead of me. So today, they delivered it back to my house, I told the manager Shane, to have them call me and I would open the garage so they could park it inside, if my wife didn't answer the door, and guess what, they just left it sitting in the middle of my driveway, never tried to get my wife to the door, and didn't call me for assistance. Moral of this story, you can purchase from them, they are happy to take your money, but after the transaction, don't expect any type of customer service...

I haven't used the saw in a couple years. Recently I took the saw off the shelf just to see if it would start after sitting for an extended time. Unfortunately, the saw was sitting in a puddle of bar oil. I checked You Tube for the possible problem. Turns out that over time (16 years) the rubber oil line from the oil tank to the bar/chain can deteriorate and start leaking. I also watched a video on how to change the oil line. Of course the repair guy on the video made it look fairly easy. So, I decide to make the repair myself. I got the part from PC and proceeded to tear down my saw to make the repair. Well it turns out the repair wasn't quite as easy as the video made it out to be. I got to a point I realized I wasn't going to get this done. I took my saw (in pieces) to PC to have their repair man look at it and give me a price to finish the repair. Keep in mind the saw is 16 yrs old and not worth putting a lot of money into it. The repair man, Ed, got the new line on and reassembled the saw with the parts I had taken to him. Not only did Ed fix the saw, he did it for a very reasonable price. Top notch service provided by Ed and PC. I have several Stihl products and would not hesitate to take any of them to Ed/PC for service or repairs.

They pulled up my previous purchases and then helped me select a dryer they had in stock, should I have needed a new one immediately, knowing I was "just in case shopping". That's service!
