The purchase…read morepart was easy, they took my money quickly, then had to wait for a grass catcher to be ordered, so got delivery about a little over a week later. We parked it in the garage, and three days later I went to do my first mow, and it wouldn't start, after several attempts, we had to jump it off, and as long as I didn't let it stop, I was able to mow. Also, the bag catcher didn't fit properly, but now I find out its because I didn't have it installed properly, it would have been nice if someone would have taken the time to show me how to put it on properly, but that would take customer service skills. After my first mow, I called them, they came out and put a new battery on, and supposedly it was fixed, again, about 3 days after that, I got on it to do my 2nd mow, and guess what, it wouldn't start. I made sure my arms were in the right position, and everything was correct, but just clicking. I had to jump it and again, it jump started immediately, and I was able to mow again, but by this time, I'm just angry, i've paid a lot of $$ for a new mower, I shouldn't have to jump start it each time. So I called them again, and they said well, sometimes we get some machines that just aren't right, and they have to work with them, so they came out again to pick up, this time, they kept it for over a week, they claim that it has started everytime they've attempted, so they can't find anything wrong with it. I asked them, if I get this back, and it doesn't start, and we can prove its not user error, what is the process of giving this back, because I'm not going to be out the money, and I was told that they can't take it back, I would be stuck with it, but I could trade it in on something else, but not for the total sell price. I think if we reach that point, I will have my attorney contact them instead of me. So today, they delivered it back to my house, I told the manager Shane, to have them call me and I would open the garage so they could park it inside, if my wife didn't answer the door, and guess what, they just left it sitting in the middle of my driveway, never tried to get my wife to the door, and didn't call me for assistance. Moral of this story, you can purchase from them, they are happy to take your money, but after the transaction, don't expect any type of customer service...

It is a very nice well stocked store with competitive prices. They are conveniently located out on the new Commerce Parkway. They have a full range of services from Hardware, Lumber, Paint and a Design Center. They even have a Design Team that can help you plan you projects. I had been looking for wooden stakes for my recently planted tomato plants. This was the only place near la Grange I could find that had them in stock. Southern Indiana Equipment (SIE) is a large lawn equipment dealer. They currently have two…read morelocations, the original location in Lanesville IN and their newer location in Sellersburg IN. They not only sell lawn equipment, they also repair equipment. SIE's main business is selling and servicing Zero Turn lawn mowers as well as lawn tractors. SIE sells everything from residential mowers to big commercial mowers that can sell for several thousands of dollars. I had bought a zero turn mower from SIE 11 years ago at their original Lanesville location which was before they opened the Sellersburg store. After over 10 years of mowing grass, my zero turn frame broke. While I wasn't happy about what I thought was going to be a major repair, I understood mechanical things don't last forever. I have taken excellent care of my mower and had expected it to last at least a couple more years. I went to SIE to do two things, get an estimate for repairing my mower, and look at new mowers and prices. I spoke with Steve a repair mechanic, about my mower and the break. Steve said they'd seen this type of break before and he could fix it without too much trouble and cost. Steve gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost. I was pleasantly surprised that the repair cost wasn't as much as I was expecting. The only hang up is the shop is so busy, Steve said he might not be able to get to the repair for a week! Steve did promise he would get it fixed as soon as possible but he couldn't guarantee anything. I made arrangements to have them come pick up my mower and get in line to get my mower repaired. SIE picked up my mower 1st thing the next morning. Within 2 days Steve repaired my mower and for the very cost he estimated when we spoke. My mower was returned to me very quickly and I'm back to mowing with my old mower. Very happy with their repair cost and service. IF I decide to buy a new zero turn in the future, SIE will be the first people I check with. The ONLY reason I didn't give them 5 stars is nobody in the facility was/is wearing mask nor social distancing. This all happened prior to the latest guidance on mask wearing by CDC.

I wanted some general maintenance done on it to make sure it was in tip top shape. The previous owner bought it from Southern Indiana equipment and had them maintain it. When I took it in they took the time to look up what had previously been done on that mower so they didn't try to charge me for things that didn't need to be done. To me that was very impressive. Even more impressive was that when I dropped it off and picked it up two different guys took the time to show me some things about my mower, what to look for if something isn't working right and some general tips to make it last longer. I also thought the prices on the parts were extremely reasonable. They could have charged me twice the price for spark plugs, filters, and a couple other things and I wouldn't have thought anything of it. I felt that their customer service was way above normal customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or maintain a riding mower. I also own a cub cadet riding mower and they said they work on all types of mowers so anytime I need maintenance done on either machine I will be taking it there. Thanks for the great service

I have been to this location twice, purposefully stopping there while passing through Louisville. Both times my expectations have been more than surpassed. Once was to purchase my first high end folding knife. The next time I stopped in, the owner of the business unexpectedly had a long out of production fixed blade I had been looking for. This particular model easily goes for 2 and 3 times the MSRP on the private exchanges as it is increasingly rare. Instead, the owner did me a solid and charged me his more than reasonable original price. This reason, among many more, is why One Stop Knife Shop has become my go-to cutlery dealer. The selection is top notch, the owner is more than fair in his business dealings, and his shop dogs are super fun to play with! Totally recommend stopping in!
