The two electricians that came out to my house to fix my landscape lighting were rock stars. These lights were installed many many years ago and about six years ago they shorted out and I've called at least 10 companies to come out to look at them. Half never got back to me and the rest either were too expensive of couldn't do the job. Long story short, these guys hit the ground running. They fixed the short by rewiring the connection, reconnecting the lights in the garden and replacing the burnt out bulbs. Their price was very reasonable. We had a small electrical job and called around to various electricians in the area. We explained in detail our electrical needs. We were assured by the owner that they could take care of the job. The job was to put a plug on the outside of a barn to run either 2 110v or 1 220v to a tiny home. The plug on the barn needed to be converted to an "RV" style plug and a receptacle put on the tiny home. There were a couple of switches and plugs that needed to be replaced inside as well. But they were considered minor. The electrician arrived and he was not equipped to take care of the job. He was not familiar with the work that needed to be done. He didn't have the basic electrical parts on his truck and had to spend more than 2 hours at Home Depot on a busy Saturday shopping for parts. When he returned to the job site there was still some discussion between he and the owner as to the best course of action. Basically by the time he left after arriving a 4 hours earlier and spending 2 hours at home depot, he had hammered in a ground stake. The first electrician left and I discussed the project with the owner that week. Next time 2 electricians arrived. They installed a receptacle on the barn, and a receptacle on the tiny home. And they pugged in a high voltage power cord between the receptacles. A GFI was supposed to be installed at the same time and they did not do it. Another electrician had to come back (after I noticed the missing receptacle). All totaled we were charged for "X" hours of labor and over $700 dollars in parts. I had been offered a fixed price or time and materials. I chose the time and materials because this was all very accessible and from my perspective should have been pretty straight forward for electricians who are used to working on ranches. After it was all hooked up the tankless water heater that was in the tiny home kept blowing the circuit. I asked the electrician why and he pointed out that it demanded too much current for what I had available. Before we started the project, I walked the electrician through the project and it would have been very helpful if he had told me before we started that I was going to have a load problem. The electrician did check breakers and knew what we had available. In the end the job took much longer than necessary and cost us much more in time and money than seemed necessary. In the end I have had to abandon the tiny home demand for 220 v and go to a propane powered tankless hot water system because of the electrical demands on the tiny home. When we asked for an itemization of hours and materials they said they could not itemize the parts and the hours were what they were. We overpaid for a job that we are not satisfied with the work that was done. read more

Victor set an appointment for 12PM today. Was a no show. Did not reply to my text, did not pick up my phone calls. Did not give me any text or call notice on his end for late or cancel. Quite literally ghosted me and wasted over an hour of my time during a busy workday since I had to drive to the location to the meet and now I have no time for lunch either. Disappointed is the least I can say. Also noticed all the low ratings are related to them ghosting people who had an appointment with them. Had a 220v Level 2 charging outlet installed in the garage and a couple extra outlets in the home, all installed to code and they even mounted my level 2 charger for me. Update: Victor reached out, was upfront that a mistake had been made and reimbursed me. I will definitely use them again. They were easy to schedule with, on time, and thoughtful when they arrived (including masks). They discovered the issues quickly and solved the problem in a timely manner. My issue is that I was charged an additional $55 for wire without an explanation (other than being told they used 60ft of additional wire). Given that we didn't move anything and there was 15ft of extra wire coming out of the wall to be used, i feel like I was taken advantage of. If additional wire was needed, what for? And why 60 ft? When I asked, instead of replying, I received a reminder invoice (all within 24 hrs of the project completion). A sufficient reply would have allowed me to give 5 stars for the actual work, speed, and professionalism, which all deserve five stars. read more

Atrocious service and utter lack of professionalism. We booked an appointment for 9:00 AM. Victor cancelled via email the night before at 11:00 PM (after I had already gone to bed), using some bull**** excuse about his van not working and was being repaired. Of course, even if true (which I highly doubt), he knew about his van not working WAY BEFORE 11:00 PM at night. I had already taken the day off of work to be home for him and woke up at 8:00 AM to find his excuse to no-show. He apologized and asked me for a time to reschedule. Once again, I gave him a new day/time and asked him if that would work. No response. A couple of days later, I asked again. No response. One more time. No response. I had several companies bid on the work I needed done and decided to go with Andrade Link Electric based on the lowest price and some of the reviews here. Of course, I wanted to get the best value with high quality, so I was a bit concerned starting out. So, I asked them to come out and do a few minor repairs first. Adolfo came out and did the work and spent pretty much all day troubleshooting something I had not ask to be quoted and he stayed very late and got it done. He is very knowledgeable and does a very good job. Based on that I had them come out and do the recessed lighting in the living room and a 2nd bedroom. I asked to put the lights in an odd but best spot given the shape of the room. Adolfo found some nice low profile recessed lights that swivel and Adolfo came with a lady and 2 other persons to help him out so they could finish everything the same day. They moved all the furniture out of the way and covered everything including the windows and shelved walls near it and contained all the dust from drilling holes the best they could. They also covered all the furniture in the bedroom upstairs and put plastic down on the carpeted area leading up to the bedroom. After they finished they vacuumed and dusted spots that showed a bit of dust on them and cleaned up thoroughly and moved the furniture back. Very impressive work and clean. Communicate and verify each key step of the way to ensure everything is as should be. I am very happy with the work they have done and would definitely recommend Andrade Link Electric. read more

Adolfo ( I hope that's the right spelling) did a great job, especially upstairs! Because of the age of our house (built in the early 1890's) we sometimes have some unpleasant surprises and this was one of them--there was no proper box over the light upstairs, just two short wires sticking out. I have no idea how the old light was even attached to the ceiling! He went up into our attic and spliced on longer wires, put them through holes in the joist above and through a sort of plate that he also secured to a joist (I think, that's how it appeared to me) and that allowed him to securely attach the base of the light to the ceiling. He definitely went above and beyond, especially considering it took him a lot of extra time, to do it right.
