Catered with them for my daughter's 18th. I preordered the food 2 weeks in advance. It cost me $1400 to feed up to 70 people. Andrea's is located off Springs Rd. They are nestled behind a different building so in order to get to their parking lot, you have to make a left on Maple Ave or Right from Springs Rd (whichever side you're coming from) If you're coming from Hwy 80, you exit Springs then make a left into Maple Ave then a quick left into Andreas parking lot. Anyway, the worker was very friendly and immediately helped me. I wanted to try some dishes while I was there. The food was good and they give you a large portion. I tried the pork adobo and rice. When I ordered for catering: I ordered the pork adobo, mechado, broccoli beef, 200 pcs lumpia, sweet and sour fish, pakbet (pinakbet), rice, pork spare ribs, and more. It was so much food. This was a childhood memory. Every Saturday morning after going grocery shopping, we would come here to eat or take it to go. Their food is delicious and the employees are nice and friendly. I haven't been here in several years, until today. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon with a few cars in the parking lot. The building definitely looks run down but I think it gives it character. It's just like how I remembered as a child. The inside is clean, there are several (empty) tables and they've decorated a little for Christmas. There was one customer ahead of me who was deciding what to order. I didn't mind waiting. The reason for my visit was to satisfy a craving! I purchased a combo plate: rice, tortang talong, bbq pork, vegetable lumpia and sinigang (its what I really wanted). I missed coming here and I'm glad I came in today. When i got home, I was so excited to eat. The first thing I reached for was the vegetable lumpia. It's one of my favorites, especially here. They make it right!! Other places uses frozen mixed vegetables‍ and that's not lumpia! I especially love their vinegar. It's so tangy and tasty! The bbq pork was very flavorful and the talong was equally good. The best part was the warm, sour sinigang. It hit the spot. Although there was not enough meat, the flavors were just right- fantastic. It did not disappoint. I have fulfilled my craving. Their customer service is the worst. I used to always get my party trays from here when I was living in Vallejo and never had issues. I've moved out of Vallejo and thought maybe I'll order their party trays for the holidays again. Called several times in a span of 3 days and no answer. So I had to go there to put in my order. The lady who took my order was kind enough and apologized for the phone debacle. So fast forward today and my husband and I picked up our order and decided to put in another order for the following week. I'm told there's only 1 person who takes the catering orders and for us to wait because she's eating (fair enough, we're not in a hurry) then this older lady comes out (not the one that took my first order) and ask what we wanted, told her we wanted to order for the following week and she tells us that their closed through the 6th of Jan. Fine we don't need it until after anyway. She pulls out the order form and just stares at me so I proceeded to tell her what I want and she said " wait, let me get your name and phone number first" with a slight attitude. Gave the info. Told her I wanted to order bbq but wanted to know if it's skewered and she says no, it's cut into pieces (again that's fine) but as I was about to tell her the pan size, she cuts me off with "do you want pork or chicken because we're closing?" At that point I just snapped and said "you know what never mind" and walked out. First of all, they close at 4 and it was only 3:30. Second, you had me wait until you finished eating to take my order then try to rush me out. WTF. I don't need their food that badly. My wife's family has been coming to this location for good To Go Filipino food for over 15 years. We recently visited this place a few weeks ago and ordered a few of my wife's favorite selections. The owner offered my daughter free lumpia! The lumpia was one of the tastiest version we have ever tried. This place is clean and the food selection behind the glass looks very fresh, unlike other places where the food may look stale and old. There is also a very wide selections of food items to choose from! The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Andrea's stacks their food with their portion size filling out the whole box! Not just enough to fit, but to the point where they have to saran wrap the box to make sure it stays in place. The 2 item combo is so worth it and costed me under $10 for 2 big whole scoops of rice, and 2 items (lechon sisig & pork adobo). The Lechon itself was nice with some spices to make it pop out and the pork adobo was juicy and moist. Our go to Filipino restaurant in Vallejo. We have been going to this place for over 20 years. You select what you want from trays and trays of ready to serve options. Also called, "Turo-turo". Our favorite is the paksiw, siningang baboy, bbq, lumpia and desserts. We usually get turon, carioca and ginataan. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. We are regular customers of Andrea's. The food is always good but the reviews regarding upgrading the restaurant are valid. I have lived in Vallejo for 48 years and Andrea's was already around when we moved here. Except for minor changes, the place has not been upgraded. But, if you're coming to the restaurant for Filipino food, you cannot go wrong. Andrea's centers around meat dishes; not much variety in veggie dishes. Also, if you love lechon kawali, you must try Andrea's. It is the best. Whenever we have a family gathering and it's potluck, I order 3-5 lbs of lechon kawali. I am speaking about the made-to-order lechon kawali that is freshly made. It is gone in no time. The skin is crispy while the meat is tender and lightly salty. The first thing I noticed, lots of different dishes from noodles to vegetables to stews and I got a little bit of everything! The servings are generous so be prepared to eat a big meal!
