Hair found in the honey walnut prawns. Really disgusting when expecting a good meal. Invest in doing quality checks before packaging meals.

I was leaving on a business trip and was out and about getting stuff and grocery shopping with my Dad. We decided to give the new owners a try in person since the dining room was open! Stopped in for lunch and had a couple combo plates. These came with an egg roll and fried wonton. These didn't come with soup of the day for some reason. The price for the combo wasn't bad I want to say around 13-14 and that is with subbing out calamari. The flavors were really good, the plates came out hot and fresh and it was just overall good! I was happy, he was happy and we will definitely be back!

I grew up with Annie's Panda Garden as the go-to meal for casual dining, celebratory lunches, and many other occasions. It is cheap, offers large portions, excellent customer service, and tasty food. This restaurant is actually the reason why I do not like Panda Express because I know I can get way better Chinese food. As I always did in my childhood, I opted for the Dinner for One. I got fried rice and salt and pepper chicken. Their fried rice is bursting with umami flavor. The pork in it added a layer of delicious meaty flavor. The chicken was juicy and wasn't full of breading at all, unlike many other restaurants that serve their version of deep-fried boneless chicken. The Dinner for One option also comes with fried egg rolls, wonton, and egg-drop soup, which is a delicious set of appetizers. Over time, they did increase the price of their dishes but not by a lot. The price is still quite affordable compared to other places. The serving size is still a lot! I am glad that that has not changed over the years - I always have a second meal when I take home my leftovers. Nowadays, it seems like the restaurant is empty, and that's kind of depressing. This place used to be filled with customers, and finding parking was always a challenge. However, I did notice that they receive a lot of online orders, mainly party trays - which I think is such a good option for food at parties.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Annie's Panda kitchen has a very impressive establishment![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was fast and the food came just as fast; from the first bite I knew I had found a quality Chinese food restaurant worth eating at. I ordered the Panda Garden chow fun as well as the Gyoza's and my son got the egg flower soup everything was so delicious and the owner even helped us box everything up I recommend this restaurant if you're passing through this area the food will fill you and the service will thrill you! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Heck bring the family & extended family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice music it is a really nice place to be.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Salt & Pepper Prawns. Order this right here! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

I'm a believer! It's said that people who live in certain parts of Vallejo have their fav Chinese restaurant and I can testify for the area that votes Annie's as #1! (I'm from a different part of town. Don't tell nobody! lol) This review is dedicated to the one dish that keeps me coming back which is the Salt & Pepper Prawns! Wooo Weeee! The chef has mastered the salt to pepper ratio so every bite is evened out with slithers of onions, green onions, and chopped jalapenos so you will be dancing and eating in Flavor Town! PROMISE! Hahaha what makes it RIGHT is also the way it's coated and fried, it's a nice portioned size headless shrimp that's fried to perfection to achieve that perfect crisp! Other restaurants cook what seems to me to be salad shrimp because 85% of it is the breading! Tsk tsk tsk. Wondering if it'll taste different if you were to order for take out or DoorDash??? It won't! I DoorDashed the lunch combo which comes with soup, 1 fried wonton chip, and 1 egg roll. One SO GOOD combo! The shrimps were still crispy! *I recommend ordering it with steamed rice! So you can fully appreciate the flavor of the dish. Thank me later! *Restaurant is open for dine in.

I ordered the Wor Wonton Soup.. it's supposed to have chicken..shrimp and beef and mushrooms There only 2 small pieces of beef and no mushrooms. in my soup.. this restaurant use to be very good I'm not sure what happened but the quality has gone down

I used to come here many years ago and loved the food. I was in the area and decided to try again. Pulling into the parking lot I had second thoughts but decided to go thru with it. I was greeted right away and directed to the menu. I had a lunch special with sweet and sour chicken and lemon chicken with chow mein. I waited at one of the table for may 10 minutes if that before the food was ready. I went home and dug into and it was good. Lemon sauce was not as thick or tangy as I thought it would be but still delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance not the best I suggest get it to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Honey Walnut Prawns $11.95
    Stevie B.

09.12.25- Birthday and needed a quick food for to-go. Ordered via phone and the voice of the lady sounded like she was awaken from her sleep. Ordered Honey Walnut Prawns, mongolian bbq, beef chow mein, chicken fried rice and orange chicken. Was given 10mins and here I am, picking up my order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As I walk in, there was an old musty smell. This restaurant needs a deep cleaning as you can see items all over and maybe a little renovation might help.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The appearance and rug was very old. That was since the last owner's items; it's time for an upgrade.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cleanliness is traced from eating area and what more inside the cooking area? If the dining is not appealing, what more in the kitchen where customers could not see?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No itemized english letter on the written receipt. So idk what I am paying for. The receipt is just the total that you have to pay which can be questionable for some. 5 items mentioned total was $72.54. The cashier lady was okay but needed more energy when dealing with customers. And a litle smile won't hurt. It's not the same as it used to be for idk how many years ago. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have heard from a famous person that when you walk into a restaurant and notice that the door is dirty, expect that the kitchen is dirty, too. (and it was!)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]For me, if the smell that will greet you is musty, what else would be expected going deeper in?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have seen a lot of horror chinese food restaurants when it comes to cleanliness. This Annie's has gone down and only two people were eating inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I guess it's time to google and yelp other Chinese restaurants nearby to try and compare state of cleanliness. Something to think about.

Lack of freshness and Walnuts. Pool of watery hiney mayo sauce.

It was 1.5 miles away, but closing in less than an hour. I decided to go by and see it they were still serving. I wasn't really expecting much 45 mins before closing. I parked right in front, and saw they were cleaning up the dining room. So I asked the young lady if they were still open, and she said "Yes, c'mon in!" I ordered the fried chicken combo meal with mac 'n cheese and green beans. Total was $20.04. I thought it was funny that they price it at $20.04. It would actually look better if it was $19.99. How was the food? I was surprised. 35 mins before closing, and the fried chicken was still moist with a spicy heat to the flavor. The skin was lightly crisp. The mac 'n cheese was creamy. The green beans were just okay. The food was being kept in warmers. There's nothing wrong with keeping food in warmers as long as holding times are observed and proper temps are maintained. As I left both the young lady and the server thanked me for coming. Next time, I will have to return at around dinner time. Support Local Business in the SF Bay Area!

I don't think it's on their take-out menu, but somehow I was able to locate it. Imagine lean, tender short ribs simmered in a clear broth, served with clear noodles. The wings were fried to perfection where the outside was crispy but the inside was so juicy and tender. But I didn't care for the glaze (which I believe is their "garlic soy glaze"), because it had a strong mustard flavor, which I totally didn't expect from the name. I was really expecting a savory and garlicky soy sauce flavor that would be balanced with a hint of sweetness. So the mustard flavor really took me by surprise and I wasn't a fan - If I had known they used mustard in that glaze, I wouldn't have ordered it. Service was nice and quite fast. I liked how after we placed our order, they pre-warned us that it might take them 20 mins to prepare the wings, although it turned out to be faster than 20 mins, which we appreciated :) The restaurant looks small from the outside but is so spacious on the inside. the restaurant was clean and organized.

Just about everything here is made to order (fish, wings, pretty much the whole menu), so patience is part of the deal when ordering at the counter. If you're in a hurry, calling ahead or using DoorDash is always an option. For lunch, I ordered a 2-piece catfish with collard greens and candied yams to dine in, plus a chicken wing and fish combo with fries to go. One thing I really appreciated was that they didn't fry the to-go order at the same time as my dine-in meal. That meant everything was piping hot and fresh when I walked out the door. The catfish is my usual go-to and it never disappoints -- perfectly fried, well seasoned, and consistent every time. The kind of seasoning that makes you feel like someone's uncle back there is cooking from the soul. The collard greens are tender, flavorful, and always hit the spot. And the candied yams? Honestly more like dessert than a side -- sweet, comforting, and absolutely worth ordering. Yes, it can feel a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and flavor make it worth it.

I first heard about this place on social media when a few prominent food bloggers reviewed this spot and said their wings were the best wings outside of the legendary wing spot located in San Francisco. So I watched the videos and saw the pictures and I was truly excited to try them out. Well Mothers Day rolled around this year and I needed to bring an appetizer to my mothers party we were having that day in American Canyon & the idea of finally trying out their legendary dish was my entire focus. Driving down from Sacramento to get this dish wasn't the easiest of drives on a holiday but I was determined. I called my order in and as the saying goes, the worst the service the better the food-well I was pretty sure my food was going to be legendary based on that phone call. I ended up ordering both the Garlic Sauce Wings($15.95) and the Salt & Pepper Wings($15.95) This restaurant shares a decent sized parking lot with multiple tenants-so parking is not an issue. The neighborhood isn't the best part of Vallejo but I haven't had any issues yet with car security during my visits. When I arrived the restaurant was pretty busy but I noticed a worker had a full table that was full just for To-Go orders and I walked up to her and she handed me my receipt so I could go up to the cashier and pay. 5 minutes later I was in my car totally engrossed with the smell of this amazing chicken. I consider myself a true chicken wing expert and when I say these wings were pure flavor bliss-I truly mean it. The garlic sauce wings were a mix of sweet and savory and garlic with a slight spice-a wet wing experience that makes my mouth water just thinking back on. The salt and pepper wings were perfectly seasoned and a bite of that wing paired with the onion and Jalapeno toppings that come with the dish, can only be described as pure excellence. The chef truly has mastered the recipe and cooking technique on both of these dishes. Fun fact-due to various events in my life,I've had to drive to the Bay Area a few times since Mothers Day-I've been to this restaurant three times now in less than a week-I would say the love affair with this restaurant is burning quite hot at the moment.

Unfortunately for me, the wings were actually really good. Now I got to come back for it. They're…read moresuper busy because they blew up on social media for their garlic sauce chicken wings. To be fair, I've never had San Tung's wings before. Now I have to try to compare them. Family owned so if you come late, they're pretty backordered from dine in, but primarily takeout it seems. The sauce is soy sauce based - salty goodness. Wish there was actually some heat (there are chili peppers, but not spicy at all). Felt like it was more decorative since it didn't add any flavor... Onions are great, wish there were more as well. Rice is charged per person, so they just gave us a bowl - presumably you can refill? We also tried the honey walnut prawns, which were okay. Not a ton of shrimp but reasonably priced. Leaned more on the tangy mayo side than sweet, would probably try something different next time instead to accompany the wings.
