Had a really good experience at Bai Cebu Lechon in Suisun City. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food tasted great, especially the pork belly lechon, crispy, flavorable, and satisfying. The place has a clean, modern restaurant vibe. Has a lot of parking. Definitely worth coming back.

Delicious lechon with friendly service and a cozy atmosphere! Dined in for lunch at 12 PM on a Friday with my fiance. We were greeted right away and asked if we were there for pick up order or dine in. We ordered 1 lb lechon, 1 chorizo de Cebu, and 2 orders of rice. They also offer from what I could see dinuguan, empanadas, pancit, mango atchara, and hopia. Lechon is currently $21/lb. There is also a 3% surcharge for credit card payment. While we were ordering and paying, we didn't notice that the staff had already prepared our order and put it on one of the tables! The tables are wooden with wooden benches. I also loved that they were playing feel-good older Filipino music like VST&Co and The Boyfriends. It wasn't too crowded, but while we were there, I noticed they had telephone orders and to-go orders. The lechon was so delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful and the skin was crispy and fatty. The lechon paired well with the vinegar sauce. When I put it all together with the rice, it brought back good memories of eating lechon when I visited Cebu! The chorizo de cebu was so yummy too. It wasn't too salty or fatty feeling and it was perfect with the rice. They gave a giant scoop of rice for 1 order. We probably could've shared 1 order but extra rice never hurt. The lady who took our order was so nice! She told us they offer roast turkey for Thanksgiving and they offer lechon orders for Christmas eve and Christmas too. She also said they're planning to open another branch in Sacramento, so I'm excited for that! Definitely stop by and give this place a try if you're craving amazing lechon! I know I'll be back once the craving strikes again. So lucky to have Bai Cebu Lechon close by!

About 3lbs... pricey @ $22 per lb. Like good BBQ, you pay for quality!

"Perhaps one day when the pigmen roam free it will be stopped. Until then, off with their heads!" - Elaine Benes, Seinfeld da Scene: There are no pig heads here, just Cebu-style Lecheon (slow roasted pig) and assorted accouterments. Been trying to get here, but always seem to miss thier 3pm closing time. Today got there early to grab a couple of trays, 1 for a party (chopped) one to take home (whole). da Grub: Party tray got wiped out fairly quick. Didn't get pics but it was packed nicely in a shallow tray, wrapped in brown butcher paper (I guess to let it breathe a little so the skin stays crisp?) Meaty 1.5" pieces were topped with the succulent and crisp lecheon skin. The coveted skin IS done correctly, and very different from lecheon kawali which you can find in most "turo-turo" Filipino joints, aficionados will appreciate. There was the familliar Cebu aroma, but flavor didn't punch through, salt & moisture was perfect. Didn't come with an expected liver-based sauce, instead a side of thier light soy-based sauce helps cut through the decadently moist and briney pork. da Service: Along with their signature main, in the turo-turo tradition, there were several point and pick dishes as well... chicharon bulaklak, dinuguan, longanisa, will try 'em next time. Overall, if the craving hits and don't have an upcoming Filipino event coming up that features a whole lecheon, Bai Cebu Lecheon will happily satisfy!

    Lechon with white rice

Called in am order to-go for 1/2 lb. of Lechon and white rice. It was right when they opened at 10 am so I could be assured of trying this as I hear they can sell out around the afternoon time. The staff are very friendly and they're located inside the Marina Shopping Center in Suisun. The lechon had nice, crispy skin on the outside with tender, juicy pork meat supporting it. The pork meat had a nice, herb flavor when biting into it. The white rice was basic which was fine with me. It paired well with all that crispy pork belly. I tried lechon for the very first time about a week ago and have been craving it ever since. Would definitely go back to this spot again whenever I have a taste for it.

Best lechon I've had in California! It tastes just like the lechon back in Cebu. The chicharon bulaklak brought back so much nostalgia. The restaurant is small but cozy, and the servers are friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back.

    YUMMY LECHON!!

First time visiting here did not disappoint!!! Greeted by friendly staff and offered a free sample!! Yes please!! So glad they did because we immediately bought some to take home!! Super yummy, crunchy, fresh and juicy lechon. You cannot go wrong here!! I can't wait to come back and try their other menu items. Crispy Lechon

About 1/2 kb of lechon chopped up. It's served with rice and soy based sauce.

Lechon (roast pork) for linner the other day. They sell lechon by the pound. Glad they let me get just 1/2 lb. This was soooo good, the skin's crunchy, the meat was tender and flavorful. The leftovers heated well too, skin stayed crunchy. I'll be back. The staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable. There are tables to sit at and they keep the restaurant clean. My only gripe is their hours. They're only open from 10am to 3pm.

Pancit small size $6.99 +tax small portions.

This lechon pork roast is really something. It is so savory and rich tasting it borders on being decadent. We drive 20 miles here every few months to enjoy. My wife and I share a half a pound - that is how rich and savory it is. You better stop by while you can still get in the door. If the foodies find out about Bai Cebu Lechon there will be a line a block long.

Lechon belly after reheating in the oven.

Good: 1. The lechon belly was crispy and the meat was mostly soft and tasty. It does have a lot of fat and salt! 2. The service staff was attentive. 3. They have a few tables in the restaurant for people to dine in. Needs improvement: 1. Cost in 2025 is $21 per lb plus tax which is pricey. Still they can sell out so ordering ahead is essential. 2.Other items in the menu are not very appealing. 3. They charged 3% for credit card use now.

Front and center: Lechon 1lb. At 1 o'clock: Atchara. At 2 o'clock Dinuguan.

I had read an article about the special place lechon had in the Filipino community and history. The descriptions of how it was made and how sublime it tasted left me intrigued and salivating. I knew I had to try some. From what I gathered, Bai Cebu Lechon was one of the best in the Bay for lechon if not the best. So I determined I was going to pay them a visit. However, this procrastinating Oakland boy had a hard time hauling his gas conservative back pockets all they way up to Fairfield area for a lunch trek. (They close daily at 3pm.) So after a couple of years I was still lechonless. (And, yes, I know they opened one in Hayward, but I wanted to try the original first to establish a baseline.) I ran out of excuses when my friend from the Seattle area came down with his newlywed wife, who's from the Philippines, for a visit. He admitted she had been a little homesick, and was due for a getaway. I thought what better way to cure homesickness than by sampling comfort food from home? So off we headed to Suisun City and Bai Cebu Lechon. Upon entering, I was surprised that it was smaller than I envisioned. There were just a few dining room tables there, but, getting there at 1:30, it looked like the lunch crowd was gone, so we had all the tables to ourselves. The whole set up seemed to give take-out spot vibes. Perhaps this was intentional. Also there really wasn't a menu with pricing. I thought that strange. Maybe they expect all their customers to be regulars who know what's available and how much it cost. Being Chinese, though, I'm pretty OCD about needing to know how much I need to pay for what. But having out-of-town guests visiting, I put my compulsiveness aside. I ordered a pound of lechon for us all to try. They usually suggest 1/2 lb per person, but I knew we'd be ordering other things, so I figured 1 lb was enough, and it was actually more than. We ended up boxing a quarter of it for home. My friend's wife in her perfect Tagalog also ordered Dinuguan and Atchara. After we were seated with our order, I hurriedly took a sample of the lechon, chomping down on the dark tan roasted skin. My teeth were treated to an astounding, crackling crunch. I may be Cantonese (American) and proud of our similar roast pork, but I have to admit lechon skin is crunchier and the pork meat tastier (and, yes, saltier). Though in general Canto roast pork is more tender, so we (Cantos) in my book are still in the game. The Dinuguan looked like black bean soup (and unappealing to my untrained American eyes). But after tasting it, I was pleasantly surprised. There were bits of pork in a slightly sour stew. It went well over rice. The Atchara reminded me of the pickled carrot and radish garnish found on Vietnamese rice plates. Its touch of sour and sweet was a refreshing complement to the salty lechon providing a good palate balance. The sweet and sour dipping sauce was also exquisite and the must-have that I hitherto had no idea lechon needed. It was almost like I want to get some lechon next time soon so I can sample again some of this sauce. But i don't know what's up with the lady who takes the orders and cash. She seemed to be the matriarch by her demeanor. But the look on her face...She made the Grumpy Cat look happy. I mean I don't know what it was. We ordered quite a bit of food for a lunch ($60 plus worth), I tipped 20% when there was no table service, and that 20% was on the whole tab including tax and not just the food portion. When we left, we totally bussed our table clean. And yet Grumpy Mom barely acknowledged us when we headed out, even though there were no others in the dining area. You would think she'd be happy that one of her last sales of the day was a decent tab. But my friend's wife was happy. She got the chance to indulge in a hearty meal with favorites just like back home. So at least there was one woman in the building with a smile.

Their lechon taste like a Chinese five spice. I thought it was just me, but then my Auntie mentioned it that it doesn't taste the same anymore. Bring back the original flavor.

Ask the Community - Bai Cebu Lechon

Hi. Do you guys sell a whole lechon?

Bai Cebu Lechon specializes in Cebu Style Lechon "Belly" Rolls. Unfortunately, we do not sell "whole Pig" lechon. Thank you for your message. For reservations and more info,… Read more

How much is the lechon per pound?

    About $20 :) when I was there August (2024)

When will the Hayward location open?

Thank you for your inquiry but Bai Cebu Lechon Hayward branch has no definite opening date yet. They are still renovating the place. We will definitely inform you. Thanx again.

    Do you offer spicy lechon?

    That would be a no

Can we order a full Lechon?

Yes, you can order a full lechon belly or whole pig

How much is the lechon per lb and a whole cebuchon for the holidays 2022? Do they deliver to the South Bay?

Yes bought yesterday at $18.99 per pound. Roll was about 9 lbs. They are HUGE, like the size of a normal persons thigh. Maybe 18" long by 6" across...Get there when they open if you want a whole lechon. They sell out fast!

How much is the current price per pound of lechon belly ? Thanks 🙏🏼

    $18.99 per lb

If we buy the full cebuchon for Thanksgiving, but pick it up a day in advanced, how do you properly warm it up on Thanksgiving day so the skin is crispy like when you first pick it up?

You just put it back in the oven. Ours came iut perfect. Ask them for rehearing instructions, it comes with the lechon if you need it.

    Are you open Thanksgiving day?

Bai Cebu Lechon will be open on Thanksgiving day for pre-order pick up only. To pre-order Lechon Turkey and Lechon Belly, please call 707-389-2054. Thank you.

I've never ordered lechon before, still kinda new to this kind of cuisine as a whole. How do I order for just one person? (It will just be for myself.)

Call the restaurant first and then mention that you only ordering for urself. usually they selling it per pound so I think 1lbs is more than enough for you.

Do you sell the full lechon? If so how much? And when should an order be placed?

Unfortunately they don't sell a full roasted pig, they focus on pork belly (albeit the best part!)

When do you open. I visit yelp everyday to check this store out but its always closed?

They are currently open. But they close on Monday's and Tuesday's.

Do you sell a whole lechon? How much?

They sell the rolled belly only and it's $17.99/lb. But it's very good!

Do they have dine in sitting arrangements now?

Yes, they had open tables when we were there on 8/21/22.

    How is the Cebu Lechon?

Had in many places before and this is truly a hidden gem! Very very good. A little salty, but not overly salty. AMAZING made into lechon sandwiches or alone. DO NOT Miss this place, SOOoOoo good!!

Do they have indoor dining as of April 2021?

Bai Cebu Lechon is still for To-Go / Take Out only. No Dine-In as of the moment. Thank you.

How much per lb are the pork belly rolls for Xmas 2019? Anybody know how many lbs one uncut roll?

I just called and they said a roll averages $120-$180. Most though are around 10 lbs, so 10 lbs x current per lb rate

What is/are the prices for a rolled pork belly lechon (cebuchon or zebuchon)?

    I was just there yesterday. It's $13.99/lb

There was a long line so I went also as we were getting hungry and it was the closest to where we were located. They had two different lines which made the lines go by a little faster. They were friendly which is always a plus in my book! Here's what I got: Lumpia: Not all lumpia is created equally. I am very picky when it comes to where I get it. The only other lumpia place I swear by is Andrea's in Vallejo. Katna's lumpia is actually really good! Had that crunch I was looking for. Thin wrap and just the right amount of meat. Other lumpia's from people don't have that crunch. Will get this again! Pork Sisig: I don't ever regular Sisig. If I do, I'm also picky about that. I'm usually a Bangus Sisig type of gal. However, there have only been a handful of the regular ones I have liked. I had high hopes for this. It isn't your typical Sisig. It was saucy and had a spicy kick to it. I do like the pepper addition. However, I do think that the meat can be cut up even smaller. It also had too much fatty pieces to it which I don't eat. So I had to remove that. It was lacking flavor and tasted a little bland. It's not the kind I'm used to. It wasn't horrible, but I do think it could be better. Will pass on this next time. Last thing, the rice was cold and not warm at all. I know it's a busy day and a lot of people. But, I like to eat my food with warm rice. I would have expected them to have a rice cooker back there keeping it warm. That ruined the experience a little.

To the right is a long shelf with a variety grocery items while the table seating is laid out in the center. TV was tuned in to a channel playing a Filipino movie. This is a "turo-turo" style food ordering, meaning no table service instead you go to where the dishes are cooked in large portions (which is towards the back of the restaurant) and you choose which ones you want. We ordered: Pork Sinigang - a little too sour for me but this is a classic Filipino soup with pork ribs, vegetables, and tamarind broth. Bistek (beef steak) - thin slices of marinated beef before smothered in a deeply savory sauce and topped with golden-seared onions Pork Adobo - classic Filipino dish of pork simmered in vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic Kaldereta - goat meat stew I didn't try the kaldereta but all the other dishes were good and delicious. I read a review that said the wings were wet so I kind of wasn't as excited about them anymore. So when I went here, I decided to go different and order their most popular food item which was the Chamorro burrito. Figured it was early enough that it would be a dinner I could save for later. I ordered a regular lychee iced tea because milk, no thanks. The guy who took my order at the register was friendly and helpful. The girl who I guess made my drink called for me and I was just all business for her. No smile no nothing just hands me the drink. I put my food in the car because I wasn't planning on dining there, but I went back inside to use the restroom as I waited for the bathroom to open up, miss smiley comes out and still doesn't offer a smile, although we made eye contact. Don't wanna hold it against her because everyone has their day where they're just not feeling people. But if you have a shop and it's called Peace Love and Boba, I would expect you to fake it for me. As for the burrito, it was good, but is it outstanding? No it's not outstanding, but it hit the spot for sure. I would have wanted more meat though. Does it make me regret not ordering the wings? A little bit.
