Stopped by for some dinner and while the staff is nice, everything else is terrible. Order the mother load burger and fires. All I can say is that they should be ashamed to serve that and then over charge you. I noticed the menu price was 15.99 but when they brought the check it was 17.99, with no add on or anything. I will say everything the rest of the party had didn't look very appealing. They need to pick up their food game and get right. I don't mind paying 17.99 for a burger but at least hand make the burger. I can get frozen burger patties at Walmart all day. You are better off just going to Culver's. We enjoyed our NY strip (cooked perfect), and stuffed Flounder meals. The restaurant is a good size, with a screened in porch that I think goes around the buildings sides too. Prices are average to other places if not a bit less. The waitress was so nice, paitent and helpful. She went above and beyond to give us a nice dinning experience. This restaurant is in the west side of the i95 in the middle of 4 hotels. I came today looking for something different in the area. The lady that served me was extremely attentive, very nice and friendly, the place has a nice look and feel, it's more like a sport bar with an ample food menu. I ordered the pork chop with mushroom and I added an extra side of baked potatoes. The pork chop was pretty small, it felt a bit undercooked and hard, the mushrooms had a sauce too salty and the baked potatoes were just okay. If I come here in the future I will probably try the chicken wings... read more

Wow, don't know what happened to this place! I was here about a year ago, I gave them a great review. You could watch them cooking your dinner on an open grill through a glass window. Service was great and the food amazing. Forget my last review, that was a totally different restaurant. The new Durango's has closed off the restaurant so you can't see them cooking your steak. (Wondering why. They have longer wait times than told. Food came cold and the manager acted like no big deal. read more

Very nice and stylish place with nice open seating with table and booths. Service was great our server very attentive and personable. Nice menu choices and an odd bread offering that's half white/dark loaf. The French onion soup was really well done had lists of pepper in it so be prepared. Caesar salad was good and the sirloin (5oz) was good, not a top quality but was cooked well and done medium rare as ordered. The corn salsa side was ok wouldn't venture back to that if we were to go back. read more

Something like an easy strong four or more. I've really enjoyed the food here and they've got a Great happy hour, which is what really drives me in when I'm working nearby. Honestly, the food's about as good as you'll get for casual dining. No complaints there. Happy hour can be really busy though, rightfully so, but with regulars who like to hold sway over the bar. I've been asked to move more than once when they show up, which is sort of inconvenient but also kind of amusing. I remember them from when they were across the street on the other side of 95 and liked them then. They've really come up and done right by this new, not so new, place anymore. Good on them. You say Durango, I say Durango... However you pronounce Durango, this is an ok option in Titusville, FL. I went on a Thursday evening as I have a birthday tradition of always dining at a place I haven't been to before. I kept it simple with the Hawaiian Ribeye which was packed with flavor. I ordered it Medium Rare and it came out more on the rare side, which is fine with a Filet, but with a ribeye, I wasn't a big fan. They had some other items on the menu and if I do return (on the fence right now), I may try a non-steak item. The side salad was fresh and delicious and the Mac n cheese was also good. I wasn't a fan of the bread which was a hybrid of white bread and brown bread. It's like the Cheesecake Factory brown bread had an affair with an Olive Garden breadstick, but worse tasting. Service was good (not great) and the atmosphere was casual chic with a nice bluish-purple hue lighting the bar area and a train Choo-chooing around the ceiling. Prices are somewhat reasonable for a steak, but based on the other reviews, I was expecting something a little better. At the very minimum, any non-chain with the word "steakhouse" in the name should at least cook it to the proper temperature. read more

I do have to mention that I'm writing this review well after we've visited the establishment. Can we just start with the lighting inside the establishment needs to be a bit brighter. The restaurant on a weeknight was pretty packed! Always drive by but never been. The mister and I decided to try it out. Steaks were good. I we both got steaks. He got his w/parmesan crust, I was regular. Both medium cooked. Cooked to order. No complaints there. Apps were all good. I think my only complaint was that the food didn't come out in a timely manner. Got some apps a little bit after our steak so that kind of off putting as we started chatting and enjoying our steaks and out pops an appetizer that we totally forgot about. The waitress seemed a bit frazzled as she had multiple tables in her section and 2 big parties. Not her fault, maybe she should've asked for assistant. I dont know. Needless to say, we didn't finish the app. Other than that, we were seated almost right away after arrival and she did come and get our drink order almost immediately. Actually not sure why the bad reviews, this place is decent considering there's nothing else around it and prices are fairly low for the portions. They have a light menu for lunch and a full menu any time, would stop by here for lunch during my stay at the hotel across the street. Service was nice and quick, the place has games on all the time as well so there's something to watch. read more

The steak was fine, but there is only one choice for a side vegetable which is a mix of broccoli and carrots. You MUST have both. Can't have one or the other. WHY? I hate cooked carrots, some people love them and hate broccoli. THEN THE WORST THING - the broccoli is cooked in what tastes like PURE CHLORINE. C'mon guys, the price of an activated charcoal filter is pennies per gallon for the water you cook with. You charge $43 for a steak and RUIN the side dish? Myself and my little guys always eat here on our yearly boys trip. They love the train in the bar! I had stuffed flounder this year which was good, maybe a little greasy but overall solid. They have the sirloin and it was excellent. Good service and always get us right in. Met a buddy for dinner and was shocked at how busy the place was on a weeknight. Larger than I remember from previous visits, any yet every table was filled. Eventually, a couple of bar seats opened, and we bellied up. Top notch service from the staff. Even with a full house no one was being neglected. The food quality was right on par. Nice Cesar salad & baked potatoes. Perfect medium rare cook on the filets. I'm sure the restaurant caters to many hotel guests, so no formal attire required. While visiting friends in the area, I was fortunate enough to have discovered Durango Steakhouse in my travels. Although it was prime time, we were able to be seated shortly after arriving without a reservation. Our server Hallie was a sweet young lady that greeted us with a smile and a sparkling personality, and provided a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere included live music and sports on the monitors, just in case you have money on a game and have to avoid your bookie for a while. We enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service, and would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone that was considering dining here. read more

This is an update to my previous review from 2019. Location: This restaurant is now located on Helen Hauser near Extended Stay America, TownPlace Suites, and Quality Inn. Service: Their service is good. Ambiance: Restaurant is dimly lit. Casual atmosphere. However, be careful of the floors when it has rained outside. You're likely to slip and fall if you are wearing shoes w no traction. Don't say I didn't warn you. I was wearing sneakers and nearly slipped. Think they installed the wrong type of flooring. Food: I'm thinking they got a new chef because the 2 times I've been there in the past few days the food has been really good. I had half a burger (hubby had the other half) the first day and a southwestern chicken salad. I wasn't very hungry so I just had a couple of bites of each, but they were really good. The chicken was seasoned really well and the size of the salad is more than enough. Had to take a large portion of it back to the hotel. The 2nd time, I ordered chicken quesadillas which had mushrooms, onions, cheese, etc. The tortillas were thin and slightly crispy. Coming from Texas, I thought they were yummy. The only thing I would change is to season the chicken more with pepper. Husband ordered the Colorado Chili and that was really delicious. It came with a side of tortilla chips. On a cold day, this hit the spot. I think they've really turned this place around as far as the food goes. Hopefully they will keep it up. read more

We went to Durango's Steakhouse on a trip through. When we walked in it was busy and you could tell that they were under staffed before we were even seated. They sat us in a corner and totally forgot and ignored us. I got a waitress attention and asked if we could get our order taken and we were told that they were understaffed and didn't know who even had our table. The manager on staff knew we were there and didn't do anything to help. Food was okay but you better be ready to sit there for 2 hours to get your meal. For the price of the meals you would think they could hire more staff and replace management! read more

After a long day of mowing the lawn. I took my wife out for a nice dinner. What we got was amazing food and cooked to perfection. The greeter was very welcoming and polite. The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly and festive. The sweet tea was very good and our before dinner bread was absolutely delicious. The chef team here are definitely on top of their food game. Having dined since 1966, and having reviewed almost 500 restaurants since 2017, I've been around the block a few times. The question I am asked most often is, "Big Boy, where is the best steak in Brevard?" Well, I can tell you that the best steak in the State of Florida is served by Bern's Steak House in Tampa. As for the best steak on the Space Coast, the Magic Eight Ball only reads, "Reply hazy. Try again." But I do know unequivocally that it's not found at Durango's Steakhouse in Titusville. First, let me get service out of the way. Shandy was our waitstaff and although she is a friendly sort, she is not going to win any service awards. The food preparation moved at a glacial pace. You would think that with an open concept kitchen, the staff would be a bit more conscientious about their work ethic. But, no. All of us starving patrons were forced to watch what may be the worst line in Brevard County goof off and play grab-ass instead of properly cooking our meals. I ordered the Cowboy Ribeye medium rare. I usually do this at chain steak places. Otherwise, you end up with a charred Pittsburgh. As you can see from the photo, it came out well done. Fail. My over-done steak came with a below average side salad. I envision the dishwasher siphoning the dressing out of a 55-gallon drum into smaller containers. The side of Chipotle Bacon Mac N Cheese was flat out disgusting. I do not know who conceived of this dish, but it tasted like someone poured in two containers of Italian dressing. Congratulations, Durango's, you win an award after all. You've inspired me to open the category, Worst Conceived Dish. The Big Boy says, "If you want to watch incompetent boobs overcook low grade steaks, fine. Otherwise, skip this detritus." read more
